Human Trafficking

I'm currently a victim of human trafficking. And I'm going to be honest, I'm a victim of the "Jeffery Epstein" sorts. When I was younger, I did not realize that powerful individuals were trying to manipulate my upbringing in so that I could be easily victimized. When I was in my early twenties, I remember walking home late and two suburban Cadillac SUVs tailing me. In the horror, I kept running and reached a 7/11 that was open late. I ran in there and asked the clerk to use the phone so I could call my parents. I remember the terror that I felt, knowing that my life could have been taken out of my control and put into the hands of some psycho. I'm still trying to get my life together, but I sincerely harbor a type of hate for the United States of America.

TW:Selfharm Sad at 4:30 AM

I'm kinda sitting around thinking about life, and how I've constantly underachieved, in studies I was told I was smart but never put the effort in to be great, I was always okay at sports but without training I grew poor, I'm bad at saving, and today at what is now
4:29 AM i've just cut myself, for no real apparent reason, I mean I feel lonely, and I'm scared for the future but in this moment, why did I do that, and idk truthfully, my fathers in jail and I hate and miss him at the same times, idk how i'm gonna hide these cuts tommorow, I hope the bumps fade. Sorry about the improper grammar, didn't feel like making this formal, and like idk how to make myself feel better, I've lost weight but I don't feel better, I've changed my appearance over and over and I don't feel or (from what i know) look better, I don't think i'm super cool, if anything i'm just nerdy and chubby, people who don't know me used to think i'm weird and annoying, so i try not to talk in public anymore, idk what i have going for me man, have a good night yall.

I'm disgusted at how I spent my 20s and its my fault

Spent my 20s falling into traps of numerous women. One after the other, each one manifested very differently

All financially and emotionally exploited me

They latched onto me like a demon and it was so hard for me to get away

All of this is my fault I grew up in a very healthy environment, I never knew what mental illness looked like and I chose ignorance over hard truths. I was too prideful to ask for help before it was too late

Ultimately I was blinded by my sexual desires and optimistic biases.

Moving across the country in a few days to an exotic city all paid for by my company.

Fuck me my 30s has to be my comeback arch

Giving R*pists the Death Penalty is Not a Good Idea

• Upvotes

I saw a post on another subreddit asking what should be done to rapists in general with a few options listed out.

The responses were as expected, the first knee jerk reaction that comes to mind, "KILL EM!" which is understandable since rape is arguably the most vile thing someone can do from a moral standpoing (literally just for self satisfaction).

HOWEVER, If rape was punished by death (or even life in prison) then every rape would end in murder. There's no reason to leave the victim alive if your punishment would be equal.

Furthermore, it would even ENCOURAGE murder by giving a way to hide evidence.

Like I get that some people just repsond with emotion but that's a bit surface level I think.

women telling me they want me to go sober

Hey guys im 19M and in college. Took a gap year after graduating hs in 2025 but now im in the middle of my first semester. For context ive kinda had a raging drug problem since i was 15 i was just really good at hiding it. Had a few talking stages and with the ones that werent also addicted always told me to go sober but I genuinely hate the reasons they give me.

Ive had friends tell me to go sober before and it was always a boring speech about how im destroying myself or something and how i would greatly benefit from sobriety. Boring but atleast respectable yk, I always felt like i was being talked to by a priest or smth lmao. But with this one girl especially, they want me to get sober for them. Like solely for them no other reason. They want a fucking movie moment where i go through the most excruciating process i can imagine happening in my current trajectory of life to prove how much i love them. To prove to themselves how great they must be if im willing to do all of that.

Its never even really a conversation, just an ultimatum. Never a speech voicing their concerns about my wellbeing, its literally all about them. Now ive been a cynical person for as long as i can remember like i always assume the worst for no reason. But if I had genuine concerns about another person I would, logically, tell them why i am concerned and how they could benefit from not doing "x" thing. That never happens with this one.

Genuinely some of the least admirable shit I could witness. Its impossible to take her words seriously.
Idk its just that when ive been using adderal, coke, alcohol, weed, ket, and all the other shit as a crutch and im expected to drop it all for a person who is objectively untrustworthy it sounds kinda insane. I mean ive been functioning just fine as a person too, really only have A's and B's in all 5 of my classes.

Whats the point of going through all of that pain for a person who doesnt seem trust worthy at all? Makes zero sense imo. And obv im gonna get sober when I have my career in order but who cares now lol. Already gone sober twice and it was hell im not doing it for some girl whos company i dont even enjoy fr. Her whole ultimatum thing was some of the most disingenuous garbage ive ever seen. I'd probably be better snorting fent off a bowie knife like scarface than being in a relationship with her.

And yeah you obv dont know the full story on how i judged her character this way but she is genuinely just untrustworthy. The shit people told me bru this one girl told me she snitched on her own brother because he was doing smth illegal i forgot i was drunk. And all the random lies that she has no incentive to tell me. And i ofc figure probably most are lies. Who tf lies about their favorite song? Who tf lies about there dead mothers ethnicity?

Idk im drunk rn this whole situation is just pissing me off. gts now

Turns out the girl i have a crush on is way younger than i thought. Fuck.

• Upvotes

So i'm 16m, born july 1st 2010. and theres this girl, 2 grades below me, who i've been crushing HARD on for like almost a year. She is genuinely so beautiful and up until now i thought i was in love with her. Like genuinely not being with her basically hurt but thinking about her was agonizing too like this was really intense.

I'm at a point where i'm decently sure she likes me aswell. Like prolly 70% she does.

I alr thought that her being 2 grades below me was rough, Bur i was hoping she was just 1.5 years younger, not 2.. I never asked her for her birthday, not that we talk much anyways. Shes a competitive swimmer so i looker her up.

Turns out she is 2 years and 4.5 months younger than i am.

Now i feel like a pedo bro. wtf. i genuinely dont know what to do.

My school is so small anyways, theres no other girl that compares to her. Like if i stop havint a crush on her i feel like a chunk of my life goes missing. It feels hollow almost.

the fuck.

turning 27 soon, making good money in a small town, picking up the pieces after a brutal breakup, and doing a yearly check in.

Just wanted to drop this here cause i love how anonymous reddit is. no faking it, just raw thoughts. turning 27 in dec, living in a tier 3 city in india, pulling in 2l+ a month from a generational business. honestly in a small town that money goes a long way, got decent cars, good family, and been putting profits into real estate so finances are sorted. but man, behind all that, the last few years have been a total mindfuck. was in a 9 year relationship from 16 to 25. she was my first everything, never touched anyone else. then she cheated and completely broke me. had a thousand racing thoughts a day, so i went off the deep end trying to numb it. got heavy into drugs—coke, meth, weed, mostly coke and whiskey. started sleeping with call girls left and right, even tried an mff threesome just trying to run away from the pain. body finally gave out and i got an ulcer, which forced me to quit the heavy shit. nowadays im mostly sober, just weed and cigs. still think about her sometimes even if im mostly over it, ghosts just linger i guess. life's good on paper now, but I'm completely lost on how to actually get my life on track. I want real-life advice on how to completely kick my remaining habits, build absolute self-independence, and reach a point where I don't need or rely on anyone else. I'd genuinely appreciate wisdom from well-doing businessmen, seasoned servicemen/professionals, or philosophers and psychologists whose perspectives I can actually look up to and learn from. anyway, posting this as an anchor. no highlight reels. see you guys right here next december to review where things are at.

My mom keeps telling me that my dad owes me a car and I hate that it’s starting to make me entitled

My dad is a wealthy businessman. And my mom and him divorced back when I was 9, I just turned 23 now. My dad is emotionally distant but has provided a lot for me. He has paid for all my college (and is paying for me to finish up), my first car, my health and car insurance, and pretty much everything. When I was doing in person classes he gave me 200 dollars a month to help with my half of rent (my mom gave me 200 too). I did move back with my mom to work a job with a lot of down time and finish my college online. I am extremely grateful for everything I’ve gotten.

But my car is getting old and my mom has been yelling at my dad to pay for a new one for me for over a year. She expects a 20k car. And my dad to continue paying insurance on it. She’s been telling me that my dad owes me a car for over a year now. She’s told me that my dad is an asshole and many other names for not buying me a second car. While my dad is a bad person for how he is emotionally, he isn’t a bad person money wise. My dad spent my whole life insulting me and never spent time with me. And yeah it sucks and I’m upset about that. Which I think I have the right to be. But I’m not mad at him for not getting me a new car.

He has given me a lot of things to help me get started in life. My mom has spoiled me herself while I was growing up. She was always buying me toys as a kid and all the crap I wanted as a teen. I never felt entitled but she had it as a compulsion.

Everything came to a head when my car started overheating. I told my mom about it to ask for a ride and get some advice. And she started talking about the new car. And I said that she has known for months that dad wouldn’t be buying me one and that it’s on me to buy. She still then brought up car options that I can’t afford given what I earn and my plans on moving out after I graduate and likely get a better job. I’m looking at a 12-15k car so that I can afford the insurance and payments myself. And she’s upset about that. She even assumed my father would continue to pay for the insurance.

Honestly constantly hearing her has started to warp my views. I’ve started to feel resentment towards my dad and think things like “well so many other people get a second car paid for”. Which I know aren’t true. I hate that this is happening because before I was content with getting my own budget car now. I hate the type of person these thoughts would make me. It’d make me into some entitled young adult with a wealthy dad and I don’t want that. All my life I knew my situation wasn’t normal and just wanted to make a life for myself without becoming entitled. My mom is making me get entitled with her constant talk about my dad owing me a car. I don’t know what to do or how to stop it.

TLDR:My mom demands my wealthy dad buy me a second car because my old one is breaking down. And her conversations are ruining my perspective.

Posted my picture on the amiugly subreddit and now I am sad

So first off. I KNOW this was an incredibly stupid thing to do. I was a bit tipsy, I have always struggled with low self esteem and I was curious about people's unfiltered thoughts. I regret it now. This was definitely some self harm shit because I KNOW people are mean on there

Top comment was how I look like a divorced mom. Which honestly, fair, guilty, lol. I am in fact a divorced mom. Though I would rather not so obviously look like one!

I am 34. I got so many comments telling me i look 45-50. Which is upsetting. In person I often get told I look younger than my age, but I guess they are just being nice

I got told I look like a man in a wig and was referred to as "it", told I have a "hockey player build" another very upvoted comment was that I somehow look both ugly and pretty. Most of the consensus was I am "average" and rated a 4-5. There were also quite a few nice comments but it kind of feels like they were just trying to be nice. I went to sleep and woke up to hundreds of comments and a lot of regret

I know I probably am just average looking. And I know that is okay, most people are. I have never had an issue finding men who are interested in me. I am obviously not a model. But I dunno. A lot of these comments are staying with me and making me feel really down. Never doing that again

Also, I know MANY of the people commenting are giant losers who hate women. I keep trying to remind myself of that. I've noticed average looking men get gassed up in that subreddit and women are critiqued much more harshly

Everything is terrible. You're too physically disabled to work a job or go to school, your parents can legally kick you out, and nobody cares

I like listening to music with soft voiced women whilst looking at small white round things

By small white and round I mean things like mint imperials, ping pong balls, and white eggs, and they have to be clustered together in like a bowl or pile or something, I love listening to music from people like mermaidonmars, noonie bao, any female artist with a soft voice, whilst just looking at these things

I even sometimes do this with my own cat when she's in the kitchen meowing for food, like ill just stare at the white eggs in the egg basket until she meows again so I can hear her meow whilst looking at the eggs, then I'll feed her

Idk where this came from it only started happening a few months ago and I can't get rid of the association with soft voiced women and small white clustered objects, it's not annoying or distressing or anything like that it's just one of the more unusual things my brain has done

It feels like I always get treated worse than the average person

So today I walked into Family Dollar. The worker doesn’t greet me or even acknowledge my existence. I didn’t think it was a big deal at first. But the next person that came into the store and the cashier immediately gave them a very warm greeting and asked them how they were. But me ??? Nothing just a cold and stern stare. Maybe I’m just reading too deeply into things that don’t matter but this really stung. This is one of the reasons I hate to even go anywhere in public I always feel as if the entire world is against me specifically. Obviously I’m not owed anything but I just don’t understand why I can’t receive the same kindness that most people get when they are out and about. What is it about me that makes everyone hate me and it’s not even just in real life but online too :/ it’s so depressing

To what extent do you believe the average person is superficial, small-minded, and/or a piss-poor conversationalist, and what led you to that conclusion?

I am a female and 17 years old and 156cm /5'5 tall. I weigh about 55 kgs (121,2 pounds I think) and I think Im overweight so I stopped eating lunch and eat very little for breakfast (for example one apple or a single cookie). Im doing Intervalfasting. My weird ritual

Each time I move to a new house/apartment, I restart my ritual.

I move all of my hair accessories, products, styling tools etc. to a large bin, deliberately mixed up. Each day I close my eyes and select one item from the bin and style my hair around that item. After that day, I put it away properly organized in its designated space. I can from then on incorporate it into future hairstyles along with whatever is my “item of the day.”

When a hair item breaks or runs out, I can buy one new item and add it to the mixed up bin.

I think I do this so that I feel like I am giving everything I own a try.

Once I get through all my hair items, I repeat the same ritual with nail products, skin care, etc.

It’s odd. But I enjoy it.

In short,we got all drunk (me and my cousins) and 2 of them confessed that when they were kids they had sex with each other. They were not uncomfortable in talking about it since they stopped doing it when they find out it was a forbidden thing. Why incest it’s so “frequent” and almost “normalized”?

Does anyone else wish their birthday could just be deleted from the calendar?

I grew up in a lower-middle-class family where birthdays were never celebrated. My parents gave me a really good education, though, and I studied at one of the top schools in my city. Watching my friends celebrate their birthdays while mine passed like any other day made me slowly decide I didn't want one at all.

I didn't cut the cake until my 21st birthday. For the last three years I've had a few colleagues who wanted to celebrate with me, but I never wanted it. Even now that I'm earning my own money, I still don't. I don't like receiving flowers or having my room decorated. I just want the day to feel completely normal, like any other.

When people make an effort for me, I feel uncomfortable and end up saying "please, don't go to so much trouble." I honestly don't know why I feel this way. I just needed to get it off my chest.

Is there anyone else who feels the same? Do you skip your birthday too? I'd love to hear your stories.

I'm tired of being a bum

So I'm 18m and I have a lot of goals: gain at least 10 kg of muscle, go far in academics and become a pharmacist, compete in MMA, make money online, etc... Also other goals I keep for later, a specific moment most in a couple months, like getting my driver license, get a job, learn languages, and there's a girl I like too I might go and try to make her my girlfriend she seems like the type that would make me more productive

But right now I'm honestly far from most of them, I'm supposed to be grinding all the time like I used to but I'm honestly kinda a bum now. I'm skinny, not competing in MMA, far from making good money online, broke, in a refresh course instead of the pharmacist program and instead of going all in I'm being a bum. Uni is closed because of manifestations so we don't have classes and during my days I study for like 1-2 hours, train MMA and gym and that's about it, the rest of the time I'm laying in bed Wondering what I should be doing or eating a lot for my bulk and gym goals, and then I post on social media to try and make some bread but my videos are low quality and it's really bad, I feel so unproductive

I know I don't have much to complain about I'm happy in life to be honest and not that much of a loser but bro I got so much ambition and dreams. But lately I'm tired of my life, feels like any time there's something that could go wrong it always does, time flies by and I'm not doing satisfying work

Thanks for reading may God bless you

A lesson to not skip sleep

Okay. The effects of no sleep last night are kicking in now. I put my clothes in the washing machine, thought I turned it on, then 3 hours later hung them up on the rack. The wash never went on and I have dirty clothes airing out 🤦🏻‍♂️

It’s been 42 hours without sleep… I’m going to bed

Can’t stop worrying about tommorow

I’m 15. I’ve been getting teased on at school. They (I think I’m not 100% it was spit) spit in my water bottle and I had to take it home and not bring it to school again which defeats the whole part of buying it. Last week they were playing football kicking it really hard and aiming it at me. The first time it hit my stomach and my phone fell down. The second time it only landed behind me and the third time I got hit in the face really hard. I was sitting down and it was like fall to the side blurry vision for 2 seconds and breakdown crying type of pain. They all laughed at me. I went outside to stop embarrassing myself and then the gym teacher came to check up on my face cause “it looked like it hurt” I didn’t really let him since I couldn’t stop crying and went straight to the bathroom. Next period when we have class I hear someone say my name and “HEADSHOT” and at break they kept calling my name in a mocking tone. The bell rings the person that kicked the ball gives me some sort of apology and I can’t even look at him I’m just looking down and said “okay” to wtv he said. I tell my mom what happened and she forced me to go report it. I go to the principal I tell him what happened he wants names I look at the gym teacher (he came with me) and it’s silence. He knew who started aiming the ball at me and he didn’t say anything. He said “maybe it was an accident!” “They were just playing”. I kept crying at break to my best friend cause I was SO EMBARRASSED. Since nothing happened mom reported our school to some higher ups cause I wasn’t the only one getting “bullied” (she thinks I’m getting bullied I say I’m getting teased) and the principal brings me in a day later and READS ME HER REPORT and then HE SCOLDS ME for “not going to my counselor” my counselor know my classmate very well so there was no point by very well I mean family wise. And then he asks me. “Did you come here and report it?” I looked at him like he had three heads. I said yes and told him not to punish the classmates bc things would
Only get worse from there while I was telling him this I was on a verge of a breakdown and he heard it in my voice and told me to calm down, he then proceeded to call MY MOM AND SCOLD HER on WHY she made the report. she got pissed and started yelling at him about
How I’m not the only one getting treated like this so they obviously have a problem. To make a long story short tomorrow the gym teacher is going to talk to them about there teasing and they haven’t really done anything to me this week so I’m scared this will trigger them to do something. He keeps giving them the football to play with and me and some other people just leave so we don’t get hit. icl part of the reason I leave is because I’m scared to get hit again. I know it’s stupid and I don’t know why I broke down. I really hope things are okay tomorrow. I’m so scared
