I am now the proud owner of a benchmade Osborne. I bought it off my coworker for 130$ and it’s never been used! I never really would have went out and bought this from Benchmade because I think Benchmades are a little pricey for me, but I bought this from my coworker cause he’s getting a new job and I figured it would help him out.

Some scales a fellow Redditor u/SlickShoes17 sent me to try and laser for them . Came out absolutely beautiful.

I would consider myself a pretty avid knife collector. Over the 5 years I’ve been collecting I’ve bought spyderco, kizer, QSP, kershaw, buck, Daggerr, kancept, Boker, and honey badgers. I can honestly say I have not payed over 150 for any of the listed knives. Recently I’ve found myself looking for sort of an investment knife if you will, something that I will grab most days instead of switching out as often. Now I know, tons of exposition for you to read through before the actual question but just wanted you all to have a feel of my knowledge beforehand.

ARE Benchmade knives worth the investment? And if so feel free to elaborate on your opinion of it. Like I said I would like to buy an investment knife but I want to know if I’m choosing the right brand and I’m not getting some marked up bullshit. Feel free to include other knife brands/manufacturers in your comments. I appreciate you all reading through this and I look forward to hearing your feedback.

Got my new GiantMouse Pontius in and it's a beauty. Olive drab G10 scales, stone-washed Elmax blade, and really sweet brass spacer in the rear.

Action is very smooth. Blade shape is lovely and the spine jimping is quite good for what seems to be quite shallow.

Very happy with my Kickstarter backing.

I was going to post a different knife today. I figured since I bought this one today I'd do it instead. I have quite a few Buck knives. This is the 1st with a box 🤣. I always grab them when I see them. Classic American knife!! I haven't cleaned it yet. I'm sure it'll polish up nice. The blade is in great condition. I'm going to try and guess the date because I'm not too familiar with them so, 1972 ish.If I'm wrong please correct me. Have an amazing day!!

Hola amigos. Conseguí esta RAT ll en acero AUS-8 ayer. Hoy la usé para cortar el cartón de embalaje y reduje el cartón, me di cuenta que se desprendió mucho del recubrimiento con su primer uso duro. Es normal?

En lo personal no me molesta el desgaste, solo me impresiona que haya sido tan rápido.

Thought the handle looked a bit plain, so I decided to get some custom engraving done. Overall, I’m very happy with it!

Custom compact - initially bought it as a catch and release, just to experience a Demko custom. sadly, within the first few minutes of me handling it, I had noticed the slightest micro scratches on the satin blade… there goes my resale value!
Consequently, I said yolo and modified it to my liking… so here are the after photos, (yes I am boring and like the color of natural titanium)

• De anodized and media washed the scales/clip/screws
• Lightly media washed the blade (to retrieve an even finish)

Been wanting to add some HAP40 to my collection. I just scooped this Delica Pakkawood on eBay. Ive mainly looked for the Endela Pakkawood version but I’ve had no luck finding any for sale.

The Delica was listed as BNIB with a $225 buyout. I offered $195 for the hell of it and won. Came out to about $205 shipped after tax.

I know they retailed for $130-150 about 8 years ago, but how limited are the Pakkawoods? I can hardly find any for sale. Did I over pay much? Thanks gang

Love how this baby came out. Gold Sheen is just the best… it’s smooth and predictable… at least this one was! A combination of English and American walnut compliments it perfectly!

An excellent pair of Morakniv knives.

A neat little Companion Spark for the missus (she loves the idea of the ferro rod in the hilt) and a Mörkret Elmax for me.
