Big Idea Design Slim Bolt Action Pen - $90 (was $100). Stonewashed titanium with a CNC milled titanium Damascus clip and bolt. 1st owner. Carried it in my EDC pouch. Used it a few times. The clip has a few snail trails you can see in the right light, as does the titanium body, but nothing major. Includes original box, clip, and extra hardware. Description and Condition This is the original legacy Presidio Auto (5000SBK) featuring a black-coated 154CM combo edge blade and bi-directional machined aluminum handles. I am the owner and this tool has been heavily used, carried, and thoroughly worked in. As you can see clearly in the pictures, it shows significant cosmetic wear with extensive battle scars, heavy scratches, and extensive finish loss on both the black blade coating and the aluminum handle scales.

Despite the rough exterior look, it is fresh back from Benchmade’s factory LifeSharp service department. They completely went through it from top to bottom—it received a full internal cleaning, fresh oil, and complete factory mechanical tuning. The automatic action fires incredibly hard, snaps open with authority, and locks up completely solid via the Auto-AXIS mechanism. The integrated spine safety operates perfectly. It has a fresh, razor-sharp factory edge straight from the techs.

• Description: This particular fully dressed knife is his AJF2 model and is his first front flipper. He wanted to make it special and do something different, and this is what he came up with: Vinland Damasteel blade, collars, and pocket clip. Crystal titanium bolsters and backspacer. Purple anodized crystal titanium scales. Dark ruby thumbstud. And mirror polished ricassos.

🟢 MachineWise Mojave - Machinist's Proof #MP014 - $875/950 --> SV $7️⃣9️⃣5️⃣ TV $8️⃣7️⃣5️⃣

• Description: This unique Mojave has a lightwashed S90V blade. And the handle features a topography lasering pattern (done by MachineWise) set into fine step milling. The clip and backspacer are zirblasted. The COA lists all of these specs.
• Condition: Excellent - If I'm looking at it very closely there is a small dot sized mark on the edge by the lockbar, and another on the edge of the clip. It's pretty unnoticeable though and can only be seen at a certain angle. I'm just trying to be extra picky and making sure I disclose everything. Otherwise it's LNIB.
• Ownership: Unknown ownership. Purchased on consignment direct from Penchetta, MachineWise's outlet store. Here's the original Penchetta listing.

Condition: Original owner, bought new in September of 2020. Carried and used on and off since then. Has seen many amazon boxes and apples but not much else; no hard use. I have disassembled, cleaned, and lubricated it occasionally.

Action: Reliable pushbutton or lightswitch style flipper action. Pivot is captured bearings. The detent is strong enough but not super strong.

Blade/Sharpening: 3.7" D2, minor discoloration from use and carry near the scales. Has been sharpened on a Wicked Edge Go and stropped to a very thin near-mirror polish edge. The tip is very slightly blunted (last photo).

Lock: Liner-lock with a lock-bar-cutout on the show side. It's easy to reach.

Carry/Ergos: Great ergonomics for large hands. Sharpening choil can be a finger choil but you have to be mindful. The clip is not original, it's a replacement I bought from Civivi that's slightly different and has some visible wear. It weighs 4.6oz.

Since the last thread has already sunk since then I'm just going to price drop it and relist it today in hopes of selling before the weekend. Hard to beat price, now! • Blade: Factory edge. Not quite shaving sharp, I did notice that a tiny bit at the heel looks like it maybe didn't get completely de-burred at the factory, but I didn't bother to strop it off there yet. Has only been carried for a few days, in which it has only cut tape on a few boxes.
• Scales: No marks that I can see. As mentioned it was only carried for 2-3 days and hardly used during that time, so they look new still.
• Action & Lockup: A really great example of a Manix on this one. Super solid lockup and no lock stick. As I always mention, I tune my washer-based knives to be a little tighter than the average person I think; this one will just barely drop shut without any assistance, and feels pretty glassy / pneumatic in the action, which is exactly how I like them. Wouldn't take hardly any tweaking to make it really drop-shutty, just be careful as these washer-based Spydercos love to be very finicky about blade play if you start turning screws even a little. As is it has no side to side play.
• Pocket Clip: Don't see any marks on the stock pocket clip from the few days I carried it. Wasn't in the bakery this week so it didn't really have anything to worry about, unlike most of my knives.
• Centering: I honestly can't tell if this is perfectly centered or not; sometimes I feel like it is a hair towards the clip side, other times it looks dead centered. I think the pocket clip screws and everything being blacked out make it weird on my brain. See image gallery above for yourself, and I can take additional pictures if you are really concerned about it. Certainly doesn't lean any direction enough for it to affect the action or lockup in any way.
• Ownership & Disassembly: Original owner, never been disassembled. Didn't actually swap to a LynchNW clip on this one, because Spyderco smartly moved the flat spot in the G10 scales so that it landed directly under their default clip, but this also means that the standard LynchNW clip doesn't reach far enough to do the same. These G10 Manix 2's already aren't that graceful in and out of pocket, so I didn't want to make it even worse.

Bestech Wet Nellie v2 w/Timascus bits

Second owner; purchased here on the swap a month or two back. Sharpened by me at 16dps to a mirror polish (is hair whittling) and in the process of wiping it down afterwards, I managed to wipe some swarf / metal shavings along the primary bevel just above the edge bevel, which resulted in some very faint snails on either side of the blade. Never had this happen before, but then again I've never seen a blade finish quite like this before either. It's a real thing of beauty.

Did my best to capture this in the vid - the snails are very difficult to notice if not in direct sunlight and at just the right angle.

Otherwise the knife has not been used or carried at all and is in flawless condition. Lockup is solid as a rock, centering is perfect, and action is drop shut. Just as you'd expect from Bestech. If you haven't tried any of their more recent stuff, you're missing out. Highest quality Chinese production stuff coming out these days, imho. This thing is a fidget monster.
