Getting to that time of year again. Is anyone aware of any promo codes for DLT Trading, TKC, and or Knife Center?
Thanks in advance!

i am new to knives, i rarely use them but i am trying to find more reasons to use them. anyways my great grandfather and my dad both had knives and i feel as the holiday season approaches between my 15th and 16th year, it would be cool to have one of my own, its around the time my dad got his.
after some research i found the Kaufman Hochstaße 55 Katze (K55K) i found some stuff about how american GIs or smth realy liked them in WW2 and stuff, and it dosent have that cheap look some other knives have, its got good ratings and its in a fair price range but i need the opinions of people who are realy into knives.
also if you wanna seee the knives my dad and grandfather had ill show them, i am more interested in finding out what the older loooking one is but that more of an optional side quest if you realy wanna help me find that out.
anyways please give your opinions and ill check back tomorrow or the day after to see the collective opinion.
thanks ahead of time!

Decided to make a kydex press and try to make my own sheaths. This is the 2nd attempt, first was a taco style but didn't turn out as well. Really wasn't too hard but could tweak a few things, can't wait to try some of my other knives

What would you use In a warehouse/ shop situation more?
UKPK in spy 27
Or
Latitude in S35VN
Not really for abrasive cutting but maybe occasionally
I do have a kizer box cutter just in case
I don’t sharpen my knives and I plan on getting a magnacut in the new year
Pic for reference (love them both)

I’ve been researching knives for weeks on end now and I think I’ve read too much. Someone just tell me what to buy. Has to have a black handle and silver blade so my wife won’t know I got a new knife. 2.5-3.5 inches. Daily carry that can be used for some light woodwork/camp stuff if needed. Spydie holes would be noticed unfortunately. Budget around 400. Have GOVX membership if there’s anything good there. Save my brain please.
Just came in today after hanging out in LA for two weeks. My first titanium scales, crossbar lock, and M390 steel. It is a Chinese made knife but the attention to detail seems high. I paid about $100 for it on the manufacturer‘s website. It is extremely light!
Hello! I ordered Victorinox 22 set (https://www.victorinox.com/en-US/Products/Cutlery/Knife-Blocks-Sets/Swiss-Classic-22-Piece-Block-Set/p/6.7000.22US1)
I just found out their set knives are not fully tanged knives like their individual knives for purchase.
Their return policy looks pretty crazy, if it’s not 100% resellable they can deny returning, which makes me nervous to open the box at all if I might return them.
This is a huge knife upgrade for our family and I’m hoping to get a set that can last us the rest of our lives or at least a few decades.
My brother recommended Changshan or SharkNinja instead and he knows a lot about cooking and knives. Would these be better or are all of these bad options and should I go with something else?
I also looked at Henckels and was considering them, but ChatGPT did an analysis and told me Victorinox was the best by a lot. I have no idea about knives, I’m a full time mom now and I want to make a good purchase to help make cooking for my little family a little easier (our old knives you had to saw with to cut anything!), thanks for any help and insights you have!

I have been taking this knife to restaurants to use on steaks since 2002
It is scratched but that’s okay. It’s a working knife. I have no spawn to leave pristine items to anyway…

Don't worry, I was fishing a spot with nobody else. It's a hidden spot, so there's usually never anybody else fishing at the same time, so whoever's knife this was was left. It was also caked in mud so it seems to be there for a while. I got it all cleaned up but whoever had it before might have messed up the profiling on it from excessive sharpening. They also took down some of the ricasso when they "sharpened" it. Any advice?

Just received my custom brown micarta Fatass scales from Flaming Gorilla for my 15V Spyderco Shaman. Man, they feel so much better than the flat, slick stock G10 ones. Look immensely better, too!

“Total waste of money.” or “Relax. Knives can be fun too.” What side are you on. I think it’s pretty obvious what side I’m on…

Just picked this up today! What a fantastic little edc fixed blade. Super small, light and comfortable. Cpm3v so a great knife steel. Not the bigvest fan of burlap.micarta visually, but feels great in the hand and very grippy so functionally it is a fantastic handle material.
