I’ve uninstalled all my extensions, I’m not signed up for any experimental features. I logged in and out the other day and it went back to the normal layout. Everything was fine but today it went back to all the video recommends under the video and a menu on the right hand side with comments as an option.

When I go incognito the default layout is there but for some reason my account keeps reverting back to this weird format

I just want my regular layout, any help would be greatly appreciated

Now it's no secret that certain works of fiction like Game of Thrones, the Witcher, and Star Wars tend to romanticize the mercenary profession. But after watching a video from Sidequest - Animated History which shows what life as a medieval mercenary was really like, it got me wondering if being a modern mercenary was as good as it sounds:

And here’s what I learned:

1. In the medieval era, being part of a mercenary company wasn't as all as rewarding as Game of Thrones makes it out to be. You had to pay for your own weapons and armor and if you didn't have the money then that would be deducted from your wages, along with the Captain's tax which in this case is another word for skimming. And any loot and pillage you get from the enemy you would have to fork over a percentage to your Captain. On top of that, when the war was over most mercenaries turned to banditry to make ends meet. The only positive benefit of being a mercenary was that you could travel from place to place more frequently which is more that can be said for poor peasants or serf working for a feudal lord. And there were exceptions like the Varangian Guard of the Byzantine Empire who received lavish gifts like silk and gold from the Byzantine Emperor in service to the throne along with enjoying the perks of living in one of the best cities of medieval Europe. But other than that most medieval mercenaries had to either resort to banditry or side jobs like bounty hunting and body guarding to get by, unless they run into a fairly generous nobleman.
2. Modern-day mercenaries, namely bounty hunters and Private military contractors, are a little better but not by much. Sure they get a huge paycheck and they get to work in a more "flexible" environment compared to say the military or most private/public sector jobs. But they also miss out on certain benefits like health insurance, 401ks, and tuition assistance. And they don't always have the freedom to pick and choose which jobs they can take, no matter how dangerous (both) or unethical (PMCs) they may be. And contrary to what you see in Star Wars, bounty hunting isn't as glamourous or profitable a profession as it's made out to be. You have to pay for your own licenses and equipment. And they can be held liable for crimes like trespassing and kidnapping, depending on the circumstances. And in both cases positions like these can be physically and mentally taxing. And top it all off if they don't have the necessary financial literacy skills chances are that these PMCs and bounty hunters will end up blowing most of their paychecks on parties and alcohol.

So are there any works of rational fiction that deconstruct life as a medieval mercenary or a modern-day mercenary like a PMC soldier or a bounty hunter?

My son is 11 months, we’re following scheduled nap now as he transitioned to 1 nap about 3 weeks ago. He naps from approx 11:30-2. He’s been great at going down for both naps and bed time but the last two nights he’s been crying for long periods of time at bed time and last night woke frequently from 12am-4am. We sleep trained at 7 months with Ferber.

Any advice? He usually wakes at 6:30, nap 11:30-2, bedtime around 7.

I have a 90's brick veneer house in the Hunter Valley with colorbond roof. There's no sarking or blanket under the colourbond and only have thermal batts in the attic. I live under the flight path so looking at retrofitting noise insulation. Most sites I read recommend removing the colorbond, laying the blankets and then reinstalling the colorbond. The other options are acoustic batts, a second layer of ceiling gyprock or double glazed windows.

I'm wondering if there are other cheapish options?

I have a game against Custodes on Friday, and I just realized that my Khorne Berzerkers will almost always be wounding them on a 5+ (with the exception of special weapons and characters). I usually run a Berzerker spam list, but given the massive stat boost the Custodes received, I’m not sure if relying on sheer volume of attacks to take them down is still a viable strategy. I was considering bringing some Eightbound led by a Slaughterbound, though the number of attacks doesn't really convince me. I’d be interested to hear how you all are dealing with these particularly tough targets.

I'm a 22(F) person and I currently stand at around 5'11, 85-87kg (which is heavy on the BMI index I know though I also know the BMI index is really inaccurate). I'm not fat, I fit into most brand's size 10 clothes in the UK with little issue though sometimes I need a larger size due to women's sizing. This isn't the heaviest I've been recently but I just feel bad about my body and due to me going into schooling with placements I've been too busy to be as active as I usually am and so I feel quite big despite my weight not actually fluctuating much at all.

I want to start losing weight again, get a big healthy and feel good about myself but I'm frightened in doing so I might relapse my past struggles with eating disorders, last time I tried going on a weight loss journey I ended up becoming fearful of food and losing a lot of weight alongside my personality and my ability to function for an entire day. I want to avoid that, I want to know suggestions for weight loss however small.

Stuff like counting calories probably won't work as I get too much into it and start counting the calories of the medication I take daily.

Exercising at a gym is also probably not a good bet but if anyone has any good at home ones I'd love to take a try with those or just substitutes with food to help.
