From Night 2 in Denver. 10/07/26. Crowd was into it!!

Went to the grocery store today and this was the total.

Attached is a list of some. They shared photos of the band with all of them minus Paul McCartney on instagram. Yet some people claim he was backstage. Did they get their stories mixed up with the story of him meeting Geddy and Al at the Taylor Hawkuns shows?. I'd be really surprised if he was there yet nobody got a photo

I had these albums and CDs constantly spinning...

Last time I saw my stylist, I mentioned our (this subreddit’s) favorite band. She’s about 30, and had never heard of them before, or at least she wasn’t sure that she had. I told her to give Moving Pictures a listen.
When I saw her last Friday, she said she loved them and had MP on repeat for four weeks.
Another happy person brought into the fold. And a girl, at that!
Anyone else out there enlightened an individual who is now a fan?

I first saw Rush in 1982, so getting to see Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson back on stage after Neil Peart's passing was an emotional experience. I caught the opening night in Los Angeles in June, but the Seattle show gave me a different perspective on how the band is settling into this new chapter.

The highlights included finally hearing all of 2112 live, a performance of "Subdivisions" that hit me personally, and seeing Anika Nilles grow more comfortable behind the kit. The crowd's reaction to her during "Tom Sawyer" was especially memorable.

Has the Toronto Pearson international airport ever played yyz over the speakers or have you ever heard it on a radio there.

No love for San Jose ! Why nothing official about pop up , etc? Other places got announced days before show, we are less than 24 hrs.

We know the four shows in Toronto were filmed. Looking at the setlists it appears most, if not all, of the songs played on this tour were played at least once those four nights.

With such a dynamic, varied setlist I’m trying to picture what the eventual concert film/album would look like. Do they pick just one night and have all the other songs included as bonus tracks and if so, what night? A mixture of multiple nights?

It would be cool if they did like a supercut version where it’s one big megaconcert with all or most of their songs included their approximate spots throughout the setlist. You’d have to get a little creative with it (like taking the full Moving Pictures from one night as the set 2 opener and then using parts of both nights of the full 2112 to make it the set 2 closer) but I think it could work.

Trying to figure out when to leave the house tomorrow haha

Trying to find other VIP goers for 10/27 for a favor.

I want to see if there is some way to get in contact, chat, and coordinate someone(or more?) to take photos or a video of my mom and I.

Backstory:

Rush is my mom's favorite bad ever. We saw them together twice (Snakes and Arrows and Clockwork Angels). We could not swing their last tour and I promised myself I would buy her tickets to the next one. And, well, you all know.

Years have passed. I've grown, married, and moved across the country. My mom has gone so far above and beyond to pay for my wedding, help my husband and I move, and so much more even when finances were tough and I told her not to. Then this announcement drops. So...... I made the very smart adult decision to throw two Closer To The Heart VIP tickets onto my credit card.

MY MOM DOES NOT KNOW. She knows we're meeting in DC to see Rush. I told her that our seats are not nosebleeds because I wanted to get her excited. She has no idea that we're in Row F.

The plan is to keep this from her until I get her there early and we go grab our lanyards.

I fully expect to be hit, cursed, hugged, and all of the above.

I have been joking that I need a go pro or something to capture that moment and then thought about asking here.

If you are a Closer To The Heart VIP, maybe we could coordinate so that we show up to get our lanyards at the same time and you can capture this moment and I can buy you a round at the cash bar in the pre-show lounge?

I can't even find a picture but we just had a Rush concert roll through and some people were wearing Rush shirts with Bruce instead of rush?

I love spending a few minutes drawing at just about every live show I attend.

No AI, just some photos I took from my seat run through simple blending modes, moved around, erased a bit, doodled a bit. I used ArtFlow on my phone which is kinda like Procreate. Great show!! :)

I think the is was brought up before, but should we bring tubes to hold lithos or do they sell them in some sort of protection?

Has anyone picked up the Rush trading cards at a show? I was wondering if they are available at the main merchandise stands or if they are only at the pop up stores. I haven't seen them on Rush Backstage.

not sure if anyone else picked up the Rush Greatest Hits vinyl (The Spirt of Radio) but Amazon and various other sites list it as having an 8-page insert but it definitely didn’t have one. I read other comments on discogs but wanted to ask on here if anyone actually got an insert with theirs? It’s likely just a listing error if so
