Haze is pretty bad where I am right now and saw the sun was this bright orange color. Took a 30x zoomed in picture and noticed these black dots. At first I thought it was due to dirty lens but then I took photos in portait and landscape, the spots show up at the same part of the sun. Around 9 o'clock position.
Due to the haze you could actually a look at it directly and can also sort of make out the spot from the photo. What could it be?

A boss of mune from decades ago gifted this to me upon returning from the Philippines. Can anybody explain the significance? I am male and so was he. He acted really weird when he gave it to me. I just would like to know what it represents to Filipinos.
Thank you.
Edit: man reddit is brutal. I was specifally asking if that held any cultural significance. It is a duck. It is wooden. Obviously I know that.
Edit 2: While some are inconsiderate, i do appreciate the answers. Anyhow, everyone be safe out there.
Edit 3: Why is this so interesting to some people? I was just curious. But thanks to all who responded, nicely or sarcastically. I think I learned a valuable Reddit leeson. As I said before. Everyone be safe and have a nice day/week/month/etc.

Is this man made or part of an animal? Found on the rocks of the Ocean Shores Jetty on the Pacific Coast of Washington.

On a post in the basement. I’m housesitting currently and have no clue what it is, and I’m too anxious to text the owners. I don’t think it’s human hair, as the fibres seem to be attached to some skin. They’re catholic, if that matters at all. We’re also in Canada. I’ve got no clue.

Main questions, even if the exact item isn't found, is it food/dishwasher/microwave safe or just a collectable?

Okay. I am taking a random shot in the dark here. Have never posted on reddit ever (just doom scroll at night when my anxiety is already high cause why not add fuel to the fire right) but figured yall might be able to help....so when I was younger (born in 99) I watched some animated movie/show (stg it was care bears) where these brightly colors bear like animals (can see how cars bears comes to mind) wake up before their human child owner and they wanna help make her breakfast so they slide down the upstairs railing to the kitchen and start trying to cook toast but it burns and ofc they destroy the kitchen in the process and it really wasnt very helpful but "its the thought that counts" kinda situations yknow what I mean? One of those predictable childhood lesson learning things. ANYWAY. I cannot remember what its from and everyone I have asked is at a loss and quite frankly over me asking them. Google has failed me and I am hoping that some other Redditor had this shared experience because I am beginning to believe it was some insanely vivid for some reason memorable dream lol.....so yea Reddit do your thing

..but to be honest I don’t really know as I inherited from one of my best friends who’s no longer with us and never told me. Please help me figure out what it’s for and why the black rubber or rubber like/leather like strip inside?

Looks somewhat antique, some kind of cage to hatch chicks perhaps?

Found this amongst my Grandmothers things, thought it might be a kitchen roll holder but doesn’t fit. Any ideas?

Yesterday, I made a small amount of chili sauce and didn't have a small container for it. I saw a coffee basket lying around, put the sauce in there, covered it with aluminum foil, and put it in the fridge.
When I wanted to use the chili sauce today, I noticed that the aluminum foil had four holes in it. What is this? What happened?
Ingredients: Chili peppers, garlic, herbs, sunflower oil, salt

Like the title says my wife has a weird ex that keeps sending things to my wife’s parents house and has his mom ask if he or she can go and get it. Just curious why one and if this is a genuine poster or not?

I was halfway through drinking this Canada dry before noticing the yellow thimble shaped thing. It's slimy once you take it out...
I didn't add anything into the bottle after opening. What the hell is this?

I think the kitties found this in the kitchen (the naughtiest of boys can open drawers), no idea what it is .. spouse also has no idea. it's rubbery, slightly flexible
smol update: no one in the house smokes ... does seem like it'd be something that would slide onto something else, not threaded inside.

Found in the trunk of my used car by the spare tire. I really struggled to even describe it. I do have a trash computer to plug it into, but before I do I figured I’d ask in case it’s something interesting which I’d risk frying. My guess was an accessory for a camera slave flash, but why it has an SD card is beyond me.
