Looks somewhat antique, some kind of cage to hatch chicks perhaps?

new apartment, been here for a few weeks but the water just started to fill this week while i was showering. pushed it off a few days thinking id just have to take my OWN hair out of the drain - pulled this instead! fun fact : im not ginger and neither is my partner. have no clue what is attached to the “hair” either.

Is this man made or part of an animal? Found on the rocks of the Ocean Shores Jetty on the Pacific Coast of Washington.

..but to be honest I don’t really know as I inherited from one of my best friends who’s no longer with us and never told me. Please help me figure out what it’s for and why the black rubber or rubber like/leather like strip inside?

A boss of mune from decades ago gifted this to me upon returning from the Philippines. Can anybody explain the significance? I am male and so was he. He acted really weird when he gave it to me. I just would like to know what it represents to Filipinos.

Saw this today and a search didn't turn up anything. Thoughts?

Haze is pretty bad where I am right now and saw the sun was this bright orange color. Took a 30x zoomed in picture and noticed these black dots. At first I thought it was due to dirty lens but then I took photos in portait and landscape, the spots show up at the same part of the sun. Around 9 o'clock position.

Due to the haze you could actually a look at it directly and can also sort of make out the spot from the photo. What could it be?

I suspect potential drainage lines under the ground but no idea. Newly acquired home, first time this has happened.

Yesterday, I made a small amount of chili sauce and didn't have a small container for it. I saw a coffee basket lying around, put the sauce in there, covered it with aluminum foil, and put it in the fridge.

When I wanted to use the chili sauce today, I noticed that the aluminum foil had four holes in it. What is this? What happened?

Ingredients: Chili peppers, garlic, herbs, sunflower oil, salt

EDIT TO ADD:

1) I was NOT snooping. I borrowed his coat (with his permission!) and it was in the pocket
2) I was NOT accusing my boyfriend of anything
3) HE told ME to post here because he was JUST as curious

And lastly…

4) it was MY breathalyser. I got into an accident back in April and as per procedure had to blow into the tube.
With all the chaos I completely forgot I actually did one until the comments helped me realise.

I had NO idea my post would get this much attention, if I did I’d have clarified these things beforehand, but to all the trolls and people thinking they know me and my relationship….
