Advice Is the queer trans project trustworthy?

• Upvotes

(Posted in other subreddits as well)

I’ve been thinking for the past month or so about ordering some stuff off their website when the next drop happens, but i would just like to make sure it’s actually legit first. It seems trustworthy and legit but i really just wanna hear from other people first :3

So has anyone actually gotten the free products from the QT project? If so, how did it go? Are the products good quality? How quickly did it arrive? Is the packaging discreet? And probably the most important question, i know it says on the website that everything is 100% free, but is it actually all free?

I appreciate any help y’all might give me!! Thank you for reading and i hope everyone has a great day/night!! ^^

Trans Feminine That’s it. (MTF)

• Upvotes

hello I’m a 16yo almost 17yo trans teen. my parents hate me. they feign care they don’t care. they’d get rid of me if they could. I hate that.

I have OCD, yes diagnosed. They weaponize it. They play into my fears and keep me oppressed with the fear of what they’ll say to me. But they’ve said enough it’s been 8 months since this has been last acknowledged. Actually 10 months now. They can’t avoid who I truly am.

what I’m getting to is I’m not afraid. I’m gonna transition. my work supports me and my friends too. I’m beautiful and I deserve love and happiness.

i’ve known for 4 years now. my parents have known for 2. I wrote a note to them about who I am and the future. I’m gonna be myself.

I'm giving it to them on Saturday. wish me luck <3

Discussion Closeted at my trans positive workplace

Just joined a new workplace for the next 8 months. I know it's heavily LGBTQ+ positive there are even pride flags everywhere. Our job will be to do interventions in schools about gender discriminations and LGBTphobia. But I'm still really scared of coming out.

ive been identifying as trans for about a year now and have only just gotten my name changed on the school register. all my friends and family know and support me but god is this shit. i know i shouldn’t take what i have for granted but i just constantly feel sad. i feel like ive been robbed of something. i’m 5’8” now which is already considered tall for a woman. yet apparently i still have more growing to do… fun… my hands are larger than average size. i have a deep voice and i just dont know what to do. sometimes i just sit on my knees in my room and just stare at the floor. i cant cry no matter how hard i try i cant and my emotions just build and build and build and im kind of getting a bit depressed. i constantly feel like im missing out. i cant have estrogen because im not old enough. i cant grow shorter. all i can do is drink coffee and hope for the best really. sorry, i just want some sympathy❤️

Trans Masculine Travel worries

I have to go to New Orleans for a work conference, which means flying. I'm post transition and have the correct gender marker on my passport, which is what I'll be using because I don't have a RealID driver's license. Is there anything I need to worry about? I refused to go to the last conference because it was in Florida but I really can't skip 2 in a row

Vent I'm not allowed to see my niece unless I pass or let myself be misgendered and deadnamed.

I have a two year old niece on my partners side that me (27MTF I've been out for 6 months) and my partner (28NB) are being told we can't see anymore. We have been the go to babysitters and have been watching her around twice a month since she was born and see her more than that. We were told that they do not want to confuse their child. They are mad that my niece called me by my name.

I only casually took notice that both parents didn't use my name and used gender neutral pronouns for me. (even though they have never used gender neutral pronouns for my partner). But they have said that they don't want to have to teach there kid about trans people.

They told me that I look like a boy and so they will teach there kids to call me by my "real" name. As soon as I look like a girl then they are ok with having my niece use my name. That anyone in there kids presence has to use my deadname and he/him.

I know that is not going to go over well with some of the liberal side of the family. And the conservative side will be cheering. But I'm worried its going to split the family in half. My partners family is pretty evenly split between conservative and liberal. With even some weird liberal people married to conservative people mixed in. (I don't know how they deal with that)

I have a feeling that they will constantly move the goalpost and create more restrictions if I don't put my foot down about this. But I love my niece. I don't want this to be an issue. I'm kind of stuck on what I do. Its my partners family but we have been friends for ten years and together for seven. I think of them as my family to. I feel so guilty being the cause of family drama.

Am I trans? Curiosity about my life

First off idk if this is the right tag so I’m sorry if it isn’t (prob rant) also I suck at linear explanations and grammar
‼️If I get certain terms wrong I apologize profusely‼️

(Background)
I’m a cis 18 and in a few weeks 19 your male(?) who recently started college living abroad. I’ve grown up in a very supportive household with two gay male parents so I never really had a motherly figure in my house but what came with that was drag. I’ve watched a decent chunk of drag race and have done drag in summer camps in province town MASS and liked it somewhat but was embarrassed. I also grew up envying girls for their toys as a kid (4-10). I grew up around mostly guys and had no thoughts about my sexuality aside during middle school I thought I may be bi which through experimentation. Though throughout highschool I bounced around a lot of friend groups and got really close (platonically) to a bunch of girls. I have very long hair and have always hated hyper masculinity but I do dress fairly masc/semi feminine (ie tight tops + baggy or semi fitting pants) and because of this I’ve gotten many gay allegations that I just stopped letting get to me. But because of not liking being hyper masculine + envying girls (for a few more reasons aside js toys (sexual reasons)) I’ve had a few thoughts about about being trans or gender fluid (I do not know if that is the right term)

Forgot to add this but idk where to put it:
I have a very toxic home life so I have always hid everything from my parents that was lgbtq and or transgender affiliated. Ik they wouldn’t mind at all and would more than definitely affirm me but I’ve always been scared and embarrassed.

(Getting to the point)

For the past 1.5 years I’ve had semi serious thoughts that I may be a girl. I bought a skirt and some crop tops previously and I liked how they made me feel but was always too embarrassed to tell anyone. I’ve really have only told some of my close friends about these thoughts either at parties or house events while insanely drunk. A couple days ago me and my friends were on break and decided to go to Paris and get sloshed. I’ve made some fast great friends that I trust so semi consciously I told them what I’ve been feeling and they accepted me. Their acts of kindness by like asking if I’d prefer different pronouns or to borrow clothes.

Yesterday I had bought some boyshort (I think that’s the name of the style) panties and a bra from brandy Melville to experiment they make me feel very very happy I do not know why.

I would like to experiment more but I don’t want to be not necessarily outted but for people to know just yet. I worry that if I transition too early or something that I truly may just be a guy and transition back which I don’t like the idea of. But I also don’t like the idea of doing nothing at all about this because I value trying new things and figuring things out about myself.

(Conclusion)
All of this I think is being strengthened by my culture shock of being away from home + being in Spain let alone Europe for the first time. I just don’t what to do or what to think and it’s causing me to fall behind in my classes. Please help me

P.S.
if anyone could give me suggestions for non tucking women’s underwear that would hold the family jewels that would be lovely.

Am I trans? Feeling terribly confused

Hello! Im gonna try and be as conscientious about what im saying and what terms to use as possible but some of my lingo may be outdated and im generally sort of frazzled rn.

So im AMAB (19) and last night It feels like my theoretical egg mightve exploded or maybe just cracked or maybe theres no egg and im crazy. Idk. I was scrolling through this sub because admittedly ive always found strange enjoyment whenever Ive found comments in the wild that are just so blatantly trans egg comments. Something about the hope I feel seeing them and knowing there's someone behind the comment who will hopefully figure out their identity some day just brings me joy. But I digress the point is I was wondering if there was a place i could find comments like that to use as an example in an online convo I was in, but instead i ended up on a post with someone wondering if they were trans fem and frankly it was sounding eerily relatable. Scrolling through the comments I was seeing things and experiences ive never really heard of from trans people I know in real life, and it really started scaring me but in like a good way? Like i almost felt buzzed, my heart was racing and my mind became clearer (there were no illicit substances involved). Then i found the gender dysphoria Bible, and even though i haven't finished reading it all the way through the descriptions I was seeing for what dysphoria actually was, was not only different than what I had thought, but were also increasingly relatable the more i read on. For example ive been sort of aware that as of late (and really for a long time atp) ive been sort of in a consistent state of derealization and depersonalization. Throughout my whole life ive sort of rejected hyper masculinity as a whole and have generally had conflicts with my mom as far as what she wanted me to wear growing up and how she wanted my hair (she always wanted it so short like why). But it was my understanding for a while that dysphoria was more of a conscious concept, somthing more easily recognizable and intermediate. I was also under the impression that it was manly bodily and that if I really had dysphoria itd have more to do with wanting boobs or changing genitals and such. But the real kicker was when the dysphoria Bible mentioned the analogy with the caveman trapped in the dark, who feels safe in the dark but eventually comes around to the light because he realizes its just better there. I think that was the most relatable thing to me. I'll even say that lately since ive been buying my own clothes and stuff ive just genuinely feeling so awful in the mens section. Everything is so bland and boxy and devoid of color it pisses me off to no end. Only recently though, the last time I went i decided to just say fuck it and start looking around the women's section, and like immediately all of their coats and clothes made more sense to me, although the sizes were too small and generally confusing, but im kind of huge anyhow.

I have a lot more on that list, and I even did end up questioning my gender a little bit this past summer. The thing about that though was I was on the wrong adhd med for me so tbh in hindsight I was a little fucked up and it was effecting my mood a lot. Just the same though i was questioning if I was male, but at that time I felt like there was no way I was female, so i decided to look into being non binary instead. ( id also like to mention that this was in part because i had sort of just caved to my mom for the first time and decided to get a shorter masculine haircut just to see if maybe she was on to something. I hated it so much i genuinely missed my medium hair length for months.) While it was an interesting experience to say the least I really wasn't vibing with or relating to the NBs I was reading and hearing experiences from, so in the end i sort of just let it go. And then afterward I had thought it mightve just been the meds making me feel weird. But now im on the right adhd meds and have been for about 2 months now.

Last night almost felt like a fever dream. I let myself imagine myself as a girl and almost involuntarily imagined if I had girly features like long eyelashes or a higher pitch voice. I sort of tried to hang on to the feeling as much as I could and as much as it felt like i should stop i also felt like that if i didn't explore this now I dont know that'll happen. I felt electric. I felt it while I did the dishes and while I was on a call with my friends. I lost sleep over it and the most frightening thing to me is that it was still there when I woke up and is still there as I write this.

And really that is my issue right now. Im so confused by what im feeling and if I really am trans, and like if I am then how could I ever tell people. You must know i look like a bear, very hairy with a beard, overweight, and balding, quite large (and tbh ive never liked the beard and the balding makes me want to cry). It just doesn't feel conceivable that if im trans i would be able to transition and i frankly am still having trouble trusting myself right now. Maybe im misinterpreting signals or theres some medical thing going on that im unaware of. Idk. It all feels so visceral and im having trouble comprehending it. Too much emotions.

Anyways this is just a really really long ramble that could probably be longer if I wanted but ill leave it off here. Im terrified to tell people in case it isn't true but I have someone in mind. Tell me what you think.

Ps. Streetcat by Flavor Foley has been pounding in my brain since this happened

Advice I think I’m getting kicked out

I’m going to get straight to the point. If you want partial details it’s in my last post (specifically the edit).
Does anyone have any resources for trans people in the Toronto area. I live a bit north. I figure I should start planning for the worst. Cause at bare minimum I’ll be allowed to live here but my car, school support, etc. is all gonna be gone (I was told there would be consequences. Anyways I figure I should have a plan ready if I do need to move out

Trans Feminine Taylor Swift's "You're On Your Own, Kid"

In '22-'25 this song was a bop for me. I liked it but I never paid much attention to the lyrics beyond "You're on your own, Kid".

In the song, she describes 3 phases of her life: being the girl waiting for her crush, pursuing her dreams and waiting to be seen/noticed, and now being active at pursuing her career and love. Each phase ends with "You're on your own, kid; you always have been". At the end of the song, the sentence flips from being lonely and forced to be her own light to being an anthem of self-reliance.

I discovered about myself that I'm a trans woman in early 2025. And since then I've been waiting for a hero to come save me, to show me the ropes, to defend me, to give me confidence to be who I am, to validate me. And it's scary.

Over the last 2 weeks this song has been haunting me. But only today I see why. I am alone in this. No one is going to come and 'save' me. No one is coming to defend me, show me the ropes, or give me confidence. It has to be me. And I will eventually find comfort in the self reliance that Taylor reached before writing the song.

I'm on my own, and it's scary right now, but "every loss is a step I take."

For me, it's a masterpiece of art because of how it speaks to my experience.

Discussion What do I do to not be insensitive when it comes to my mother?

To start, I should mention that my mother used to be much more against this, but with the help of my therapist she has improved a bunch.

With that said, my mother still doesn’t “believe in the whole trans thing” and is always saying she “wants her daughter back even if she’s a tomboy” and because of things like emotional neglect from my parents, I’ve grown to be a pretty apathetic guy, especially when it comes to other people’s feelings and opinions.
So, I’m now hit with this realisation that if I want her to slowly gain more understanding and try to earn her support I have to try and be more sensitive and empathetic towards my mother, but it’s hard. I even showed her information about how research on trans people’s brain showed that they had sections that functioned as their actual gender and not the one forced on them as a child due to social norms.. I told her about sex being a spectrum that hormones DEFINITELY affect, so to say that a trans person will never be the sex want is definitely not the most true thing you could say..
I’ve tried telling her a bit about my feelings personally, though that is extremely difficult because I don’t particularly enjoy talking to her in the first place.. even that doesn’t work.
We’re both selfish so our discussions never work.

How do I respond to her and react to her in a way that may potentially sway her views while also not ignoring her feelings and thoughts and being insensitive like I tend to be?

I find that I used to get much more angry but after talking about it so many times, I don’t have the same reaction to her words, I’m just kind of tired. I spoke to her again today and instead of the normal flare of irritation I get when we talk, I just got a headache and was able to speak calmly for the first time in a while yet she still didn’t listen or understand, so I’m not sure what to do. I want her on my side about this because I am pessimistic enough to truly believe I may never amount to anything and may never be able to pay for gender affirming care without some sort of financial assistance, but as it stands, she refuses to pay for that stuff because she believes gender affirming care is a mutilation of the body lol..

Sorry if this rant wasn’t all that to-the-point, I still have a headache..
No mention of my father here because he’s pretty supportive.

Trans Feminine contacting surgeon's office

Is this a problem unique to Stanford Plastic Surgery? I called the number on their website, tried to select the correct option (appointments) and got a call back 20 minutes later from a rep who said she needed to transfer me to the number for new patients. Instead, the line disconnected.

So I call again, this time selecting the option for all other calls. I wait for like 20 minutes and the person who answers tells me he needs to transfer me to the new patient line (seriously?). This time the transfer works. But I've already been on hold for another 40 minutes and there's no way to schedule a consult online.

I wanted to get in with a surgeon who does the PPV technique because PIV is not really viable for me and colon-based is way more complicated than I want to deal with. I just don't understand why they make it so complex to get a consult? I don't want to hang up because I tried this before with the same issue and it's just deeply annoying.

Please these big naturals are making me lose my mind. Also i need a store that will ship to europe without me having to sell them one of my organs. If anyone can help me i will be extremely grateful

Discussion Coming out to my best friend didn't go as hoped....

!!!Possibly Triggering!!!!

My best friend, let's call him D is a gay man and I finally gathered the courage to finally tell him. He was the one person I was afraid to tell, maybe my subconscious was trying to warn me.

When I told D I was trans it was like he stopped seeing me as his best friend, as a human. He started to talk about my body as if I was a science experiment and said if I didn't do XYZ he wouldn't accept me.

D made it seem like me being trans was okay but only under his strict conditions. We stilled talked for a week after this but nothing was the same, today he blocked me on everything without an explanation.

How can you go from spending everyday together, to cutting someone off completely like that?

I thought he would be more understanding especially since his coming out journey was so difficult.

Why does a gay men feel the need to exclude another LGBT+ member like this I don't understand.
