I was in union city and this situation occurred. I decided to be safe and yielded to all right turning vehicles but the cars behind me honked and one tried to go around me to turn left. Was wondering what the exact rules are around this. Is it legal to turn left?

I just woke up and my parents told me I had mail from ezpass. The violation was from a day I payed cash and noticed I was shorted money. I was at the sign that says thank you after you pay when I noticed then i reversed slightly and told the worker about the money. I wasnt given a receipt of the transaction I paid so I dont have proof. It was a $2.10 fee at the time and I handed a five. Any chance I won't have to pay? Im going to call tomorrow.

I’ve lived in NJ my whole life, but never really explored much! I have a newfound love for very kitschy/retro diners and would love to visit some. I’m in north NJ and would prefer to stay semi-local, but I’ll still appreciate anything further! :)

I’m (33M) a producer, singer, multi instrumentalist in Somerville. I specialize in keys and synthesizer but I also play guitar, bass, drums, and sing. I am looking for some talented musicians who want to join a psychedelic rock band.

We are looking for four members. A soprano singer, bassist, synthesist, and lead guitarist.

The music itself is synthy psychedelic rock with dream pop, stoner rock, and dark folk influences. There is a heavy social commentary aspect tied to the music and the overall work. It is humanistic in nature, a satirical critique of classical institutions like religion and politics.

We love bands like Pink Floyd, King Crimson, Fleet Foxes, Radiohead, Black Sabbath, crumb, men I trust, mild high club, Brian Eno, Tangerine Dream, Khruangbin, Queens of the Stone Age, Wolfmother, and others.

We are looking for a singer with a higher range (more soprano than alto) and dynamic delivery. A delicate and intimate timbre (Ala men I trust) is something we’re after for much of the music, but some of it gets louder and harder so comfortability with a range of styles and deliveries is preferred. Songwriting experience is a plus. The ability to harmonize is preferred. (Vocals will be a shared effort, there is no “lead” vocalist per se, just whatever the song calls for!)

For the guitarist and bassist, we are looking for string players who have an innate understanding of their instrument. Songwriting experiences preferred. We are after a modern vintage sound, so in the realm of fuzzy, ripping, distorted, and riffy sections, tempered by more dry, clean, edge of breakup, jangly vintage tones, ala George Harrison, or more modern slacker rock like Mac.

Also looking for a second synth player!

I'm turning 18 this week and registered to vote online a couple weeks ago, but now I'm checking and it says I'm not registered. this happened over the summer as well, but I thought it was an error on my part or just a bug. has this happened to anyone else? I know the deadline to register is over now, so I'm kind of upset about that :(

Looking for recommendations for a Chinese weekend school for kids in NJ, especially Central Jersey (Edison, Princeton, West Windsor area). Which ones have you liked, and why? Teachers, class size, Mandarin vs. Cantonese, traditional vs. simplified, cultural activities, anything helps. Also curious about the cost and what age kids usually start.

Just sharing thjs here in case anyone has any info to help. As someone who's been in a hit & run where the driver rammed me and then fled and never got caught, I feel personal about this and really hope someone catches them.

Now the parents do not have access to the child's medical records at all. When asked Hackensack meridian health says you need to fill out a form but nobody on their team knows where to send this form. I find it absurd New Jersey locks children's medical records automatically. Anyone else navigate this nonsense or upset about it?
