Question 75192 Millenium Falcon was “Sold Out”, now “Temporarily Out of Stock”

Thumbnail

I’ve wanted this set more than anything since it was release 10 years ago, and I’m aware this set is retiring at end of year. It just sold out yesterday, as retiring sets typically do.

I found it odd that the language switched here from Sold Out to OOS. Does this mean its going to restock?

Basically, I’m trying to decide if I should order right now from Amazon while it’s still available, wait until Lego restocks, or wait until the rumored October 20207 Millenium Falcon release.

Other Should I keep or sell these?

I bought these at a thrift shop in Japan for the equivalent of 70 USD (total).

They are both factory sealed.

I couldn't help myself when I saw them sitting on the shelf, but they do not really fit into my collection.

Any thoughts? Would there be any cycling enthusiasts happy to get them?

Edit: to stay in line with the group rules, this is a DISCUSSION post, not a SALES post.

What I really wanna do is rebuild it, but what I really really wanna do is organize the pieces into my collection. Any thoughts? I'm torn, on the fence, stuck between a Lego brick and a hard place.

Question Green brick separator with axle in set 5933

Hello, i was Reading some posts about brick separators and i found out that It came in only Two sets: 10233 and 10232.

The thing Is that i have a green brick separator with axle but i dont have any of the sets mentioned before. I clearly Remember as a child that my green brick separator came in set 5933. So i checked and bricklink says that the set came with the older Brick separator and not the One i have.

I was wondering if this Is normal.

For reference i live in Italy and i think that i got that set in 2012/2013 cant Remember for sure because i was a child...

Question 3rd interview

I’m interviewing for a brick specialist position at the lego store near me. I’ve made it through 2 interviews, one online and one in person. I have my final interview tomorrow. I was told that this interview will be more hands on and that I will be doing some sort of activities. Does anyone have any idea what this might look like? Or any tips?

Question Do Lego rubber tires get damaged if left for long periods (months/years) on the studs of a baseplate?

I am wondering whether it's ok to leave my lego batman tumbler 76239 on a baseplate, because I heard that it might leave indentation marks on the wheels if left like that for a long time. I intend to put it on a baseplate in order to place bricks as stoppers/chocks to prevent the car from rolling back and forth in my display case. Has anyone had experience with lego vehicles having indentation marks due to being left resting on studs for months/years?

SOLVED!

First of all, thanks to everyone!

I got it, it was the spring pieces, they were bent and that made it escape, I’ve used an hair dryer to reshape them again and it worked

Hello everyone!

Can anyone help me with the PlayStation that came out recently?

I built the set according to the instructions, but when I try to close the cover, it keeps disassembling the back part of it.

Is it something wrong? I didn’t wanted to glue the pieces together, but if I need to…

Question Question about stickers and prints

Hey LEGO community,

I have a question. Most LEGO painted parts are printed, but quite a few use stickers instead. Since these tend to discolor and peel off after ten years at the latest, I usually leave them off.

However, I still have a few older sets where I applied the stickers back then. Now I'm trying to replace those stickered pieces with actual printed parts.

Specifically, I'm talking about sets 10283 and 10213 (both Space Shuttles) and 42064 (Ocean Explorer).

I've already tried quite a few places, but either they don't offer prints for these particular sets, or they charge upwards of €1,000, which seems a bit excessive to me.

Does anyone have any ideas or recommendations?

Thanks a lot in advance!

Saw this at Staples and couldn’t help but thibk that the power of this, or the lack thereof might be perfect for dusting Lego. Plus the micro size would be easy to maneuver. :) anybody tried one of these mini blowers?

Question Transporting Barad-Dûr

Anyone had experience with transporting the Barad-Dûr set once built?

I'm due to move house in the next 6 months. I've had the set sat around waiting for a while and am keen to build it but have held off because I don't expect that it transports well. Journey will be approx. 1 hour and mostly motorway.

Do I bite the bullet and crack it open or wait? 🤔

We really need some of these on pick-a-brick back. Especially Jay and Zane. I feel like there never any Jay heads on pick-a-brick.
