Collection Shock
You can not imagine the surprise I felt when my daughter's pediatrician offhandedly gave this to her; I didn't know it existed.

I finally finished my summer project, a beach scene with elevated water and detailed underwater areas. Since beaches aren't super popular and I hadn't seen anyone do this with transparent water, it was a huge challenge. I was inspired by the BLDP Harbormaster set, but wanted to actually be able to see the stuff underneath. It took a long time and thousands of 1x2 water tiles, but I think it turned out really well. There's a ton of stories, details, and easter eggs. Any time I got an idea I was sure to include it. I'm particularly proud of the splash into the water and the others about to jump in behind him, the terrible guitar player with several enamored fans and one who's not, and the seagulls fighting over French fries knocking over sunscreen causing severe sunburn. And underwater there's Flounder and Sebastian with dinglehopper, a pineapple with chum bucket, blooper family, and Aquashark sub

Took some last photos of my collection of sealed sets before it gets shipped off for auction in a few days. Everything in the bins is new and most are still sealed. Aside from some ComicCon sets in the bins, everything else is at least 25 years old, with the oldest sets being from 1963.
All told, there's nearly 900 sets in this stack.

Disregard the unkempt disorganization- I’m in the process of downsizing and recycling the boxes that take up so much space. (I definitely won’t remove the vintage boxes however). Hope you all can enjoy my current collection- looking forward to finding room for Minas Tirith!

ive never posted on reddit, but i thought lets give it a shot to just show people! my dad has been building legos forever. but for even longer, he has been building them with random pieces he finds. he never ever uses a “guide” or “book”. he buys a bulk of mixed up legos off ebay, and this comes to life. he has a garage full of amazing pieces he just messes around with day to day. i dig in a big bucket and find small gold pieces for him everyday! these are just pictures i snuck real fast without him knowing. but this is just one work in progress… out of many finished projects! 🤩❤️❤️

This was over a year ago, but I just had to share because I still can’t believe this was real. This was before the new $999.99 Death Star came out. Probably my biggest finesse ever.

*It’s never complete. Lego will make them in more colours, I’m sure of it

Headed on a mission and then off to college. Thought I would share my completed collection (at least for now). I didn’t sell much. everything has been disassembled and put in their original boxes (if I had them) or just put in big bins(separated with ziplock bags). Plus a couple recent additions like the ucs at-at and cantina which will stayed sealed for a couple years till I get a chance to build.
