According to Mathrubhumi, Tamil Nadu CM Vijay is scheduled to attend the Navratri celebrations hosted by the Kalyan Jewellers family in Thrissur.

Considering this is his maiden visit to Kerala as CM, wouldn't it have been an opportunity to interact with his Kerala counterpart and other ministers to discuss important issues between the two neighbouring states, explore areas of mutual cooperation and work towards resolving matters that require coordination between their governments? Alternatively, given his tremendous popularity in Kerala, a public felicitation organised by his fans to celebrate his ascension to power could also have marked the occasion.

Several celebrities from the South Indian film industries and Bollywood attend high-profile celebrations hosted by the Kalyan family, including its brand ambassadors. Vijay may also have a personal association with the family, due to which he might be participating in the event. However, while considering the significance of his maiden visit as CM, wouldn't it have been more appropriate to include a public engagement rather than having the visit centred around a private celebration?

What are your thoughts?
