A 19-year-old American terrorist has been arrested in Illinois over a failed mass shooting plot that could have targeted a Hindu place of worship in Aurora. Investigators recovered a manifesto expressing white supremacist views and references to violence against people of Indian descent, along with a rifle, ammunition and tactical equipment.

Releasing a video statement on social media, the former bureaucrat confirmed that her party will actively contest the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections.

Divya Mittal also declared that she will personally contest the election from the Mirzapur Sadar assembly constituency. Outlining her vision, she stated that 'Jan Neeti Bharat' aims to build a public-centric governance model where elected representatives remain accountable to citizens throughout their tenure.

Delhi Police on Thursday detained Ankita Bhandari's parents and several opposition leaders during a sit-in protest at India Gate, with Congress leaders accusing the police of manhandling demonstrators and demanding justice in the case.

The detentions took place around 4 am and they were released around 5 am

The grieving family staged a demonstration against the recent appointment of BJP leader Dushyant Kumar Gautam as the Governor of Sikkim, citing alleged links and calling for an immediate halt to his constitutional posting pending a central investigation

Expressing deep dissatisfaction over the government's decision, Ankita's father, Virendra Singh Bhandari, demanded legal accountability over the political appointment, "Dushyant Kumar should be behind bars. I earnestly request the Honourable President not to appoint Dushyant Kumar as Governor until the CBI investigation is concluded."

Ankita was murdered on September 18, 2022, and her body was recovered from the Chilla Canal on September 24, 2022.

The resort owner, Pulkit Arya, son of expelled BJP leader Vinod Arya, and two staff members, Saurabh Bhaskar and Ankit Gupta, were arrested, chargesheeted and on May 30, 2025, sentenced to life imprisonment by Additional District Judge Reena Negi in Kotdwar for murder, destruction of evidence and other charges.

This is the post I am referring to and I did it in Andhra Pradesh sub and I've written it in Telugu. The dream I had was pretty vague and in it one of my friends was shot and it appeared that the temple is Swaminarayan Temple in New Jersey. IMO its going to get terribly difficult for all of us living in west, not just in US. And my intuition says its going to hit all of a sudden and you aren't prepared for it. I would seriously suggest to make plans to return and hope you don't have to.

Also I do think that US govt is involved in some way and want to throw away all Indians. Perhaps some actors who are supported by state department(?). I don't know.

As for me, I did plan my return, figured out opportunities back home, made arrangements and the transition was smooth.

I just hope ~6 mill Indians don't have to come back home in an exodus.
