Discussion MICHAEL DANTE DIMARTINO CONFIRMS: THERE WAS NO SECRET AVATAR BETWEEN KORRA AND PAVI AND NISHA!
In an interview with GamesRadar+, Avatar co-creator Michael Dante DiMartino debunked the theory that another Avatar existed between Korra and the twins, despite the approximately 200-year gap.
This raises new questions: Did Korra live for two centuries, or did something prevent the Avatar’s reincarnation? And is there any connection between the union of Raava and Vaatu and the emergence of the twin Avatars?
According to DiMartino, the series will reveal more details as the story unfolds. For now, the mystery continues!

Cosplay Our Aang and Katara Cosplays [OC]
For this year's Polaris Convention, I made Aang and Katara cosplays for my fiancé and me. I sewed/ made the cosplays by myself! These beautiful photos were taken by the wonderful photographer eosandy at Polaris Convention. Now we just need to get the rest of the Gaang together 🌊⛰️🔥💨
Unfortunately none of us realized until way later that a small piece of my belt had flopped over. Oh well 🤷🏻♀️

Discussion Just watched the movie and OMG
Adult Toph is 😍 absolute muscle mommy. I didn't expect Katara to be a little muscular. Aang, Toph and Zuko makes sense but Katara; since her movements as a teen aren't that extreme in terms of physical movements.
Overall thoughts, great movie. Amazing nods to Korra with old Katara and old Zuko and the Zutara ships

Image This is Father MF Glowworm: the spirit that Kuruk took on and left the spirits during Kyoshi's time afraid of Kyoshi's presence because they sensed Kuruk's, and he's just that guy 👊🏼
Avatar Kuruk was one bad mf....... dude got zero credit and all the flack for it during Kyoshi's lifetime, but homeboy left those dark spirits shaken to fuck around and find out with Kyoshi lmao! Kuruk is that mf 👊🏼

Discussion The last time there was auroras everywhere was harmonic convergence?
I think it’s to represent whatever happened during the cataclysm had a similar effect on the world as the convergence did. Thoughts?

Discussion I just realized how poetic it would have been if each threat followed the Avatar cycle
I know that the series was written with the potential of cancelation, but if not, this worked beautifully:
One thing that comes to mind is why Unalaq knew about Vaatu and whether they intended to include a shaman angle.

Question Does anyone else see visual similarities between Sable and Avatar: Seven Havens?
And just like these images, there are other things with a similar aesthetic. I found the resemblance curious.

Question Can other spirits and humans become Avatars? How would that work?
This occurred to me while I was rewatching the second season of The Legend of Korra. Could a human and any random spirit become permanently joined by touching the Spirit Portals during Harmonic Convergence? I mean, I suppose it would be highly unlikely to happen—after all, who would want to get involved in the ultimate battle between light and darkness?
But if it were to happen, how would it work? I mean, Raava didn’t affect Wan’s appearance—presumably because she’s a being of pure energy—but other types of spirit possession physically transform a human to resemble the spirit in question.
If an Avatar were to be formed, what would happen regarding future lives—would the individual be born as a normal human, or with the appearance of the spirit?

Discussion Korra Advertisement implies possibility of inifite Korra™ Products Spoiler
What if Korra was actually a celebrity right before the cataclysm? By that point, when Korra's 45 there would be Cold-war level technology and societal connectivity. Presumably, being the Avatar would be the biggest commercial brand in the world. Having the avatar's face/name on your product = instant money. From shampoo to chicken, cough medicine, clothes, perfume, juice, candy, cereal; anything Korra would be willing to be ambassador for.
Then you'd have Korra on game shows, Late Night TV shows and SNL, she makes a movie cameo or straight up tries acting for a couple years. An entire Korra radio station. TV sitcoms based on Korra. A Korra documentary.
Let's be ridiculous. Theoretically a Korra fan in 1970 Avatarland, could put on a Korra™ sweater and spray their Korra™ Sauavage perfume, drink Korra-ade™ and put on Korra™ shoes.
In reality the Seven Havens image above, reads ("Korra Market" thanks for translating u/quertyquerty!), it is probably just a sign that one shop owner made. In fact this post as a whole might be absued and unfunny, but even the narrow chance is hilarious to me
