Did anyone else received a email from Matthew Allen within the timeframe of 8:50-9:00 today? I watched the attached video and it's... well, it's quite concerning.

Dear UCR CS Students.

To celebrate 25 years at UCR, I have a little gift for Computer Science students (grad and undergrad) at UCR.

I commissioned a local artist to make and produce custom UCR Computer Science stickers, that you can proudly place on your water bottle or laptop.

If you want your sticker, you can:

1)      Visit the sticker vendor, next to the bookstore, from 8am to 5pm tomorrow (Friday the 15^th). Just identify yourself as a CS student, and ask for a sticker (one sticker per person, please).

2)      If you can’t make it tomorrow, or the stickers run out (I only paid for 120), then I will distribute a fresh batch from my office (MRB 4120) sometime in the second half of next week. Just stop by (email first if it is out of your way to make sure I am not out getting coffee or something).

3)      If you are an alumni reading this from off of campus, you can send me your physical mailing address and I will mail you a sticker (please only use this option if you are truly living far from campus).

As an aside, the vendor has lots of cool other stickers of insects, animals, campus life etc.

Best wishes and have a great quarter.

Eamonn

PS: if you don’t understand the “kung fu sticker”, it is a little in-joke from CS170, Intro to AI.

How would you represent “Everybody was Ku-fu fighting” in First Order Logic?
