Open | Malware Laptop was acting weird and I'm wondering if it has a virus
I was using my laptop like normal and everything was running fine. I had some time to kill and decided that I should play some Tetris on a browser I've had bookmarked forever. When I was done doing my round I closed the tab and then closed the laptop, not turning it off. An hour or so later I come back and I notice that it wasn't turning on. I touched the keyboard and it felt warm like it was just running even though I didn't use it for quite some time. I spammed the space button and then pressed the power button and nothing happened. I would keep pressing the power button and it wouldn't turn on. Decided to hold the power button for 15 seconds and it finally turned on. When it came on everything seemed normal. I opened task manager and it was the normal top applications using resources but I noticed that powershell was also using some CPU. I don't remember ever seeing that there before. I also noticed that my batteries smart charging (keeping the battery at 80% when charging) was turned off.
In the past I've had some viruses run through powershell before which is making me a bit nervous. Idk if I should nuke my computer or just consider this as a problem with my battery.
I did a brief and full scan on Windows defender and it said there was no harmful threat.
What do y'all think?
