The touch screen on my phone isn't working. I can no longer down, left or right on the phone. Swiping up only works when I'm trying to go back to the home screen. It does not work any other time I try to swipe up. I'm also unable to power the phone down since I have to swipe a toggle on the screen and the phone won't respond when I do. I've been using this phone for about two years now. The only other issues I've noticed are some slight overheating.

I wanted to troll some friends with the moo virus but I think that it is too light, so I added a command to create 150 alarms to 1 am, is there anything else I could do to make it funnier?

Something I didn't know until recently: iOS quietly keeps a play count, a skip count, and a last played date for every song in your music library.

It's been doing this the whole time you've owned your songs.

The Music app on iPhone never shows you any of it. On a Mac you can still turn on the Plays column in the Music app, but that's it. Apple Music Replay gives you a yearly recap, but not "how many times have I actually played this song."

I wanted to know, so I built a free app that reads those numbers straight off the phone and sorts them: most played songs, albums, artists, genres, most skipped songs, and total listening time. Everything stays on your phone, no account.

My own #1 song has 200+ plays, and it wasn't the one I would have guessed.

Hello, I bought an IPhone 13 like 5 months ago. It worked fine for a while, but it’s begun to struggle. It heats up, sometimes lags out and doesn’t respond for long seconds, and almost crashes every time I open my camera.
I’m not very familiar with technology of this kind, and I’m not sure how to proceed or why this is happening. I’ve heard stuff about Apple’s unnecessary updates to deliberately slow things down to try and push the purchase of a new phone—is there any way for me to mitigate this?
Just looking for ideas and thoughts because I’m not quite sure what to do.

Not sure if it's just me, or it's the new iOS, or this is normal.. but anyone else open a conversation in messages and then press the message bubble and it doesn't open? It takes a good second or two before being able to press the message button.

I just upgraded to an iPhone 17 today and my watch wouldn’t connect. I had to reset my watch to be able to get it to connect. I have an apple watch series 3. I have always used the “favorite” category in my photos to have a changing watch face. There used ti be an option for photos on the watch and the watch app. I cannot seem to find it anywhere.

I have googled this problem but I have not been able to find a solution for this.

Any suggestions?

Edit: For anyone who’s also experiencing this problem, I found a single comment from another person referring to a solution on this.

- Set WiFi, Bluetooth & Cellular to OFF (Do this by going into settings and actually toggle them off)
- Open date & time, then change “set time automatically” to off and adjust it to 6+ months ahead
- You can then turn cell/wifi/bluetooth back on.

That should be it and the ghost accessory should be gone, mine didn’t require restarting my phone and I just toggled “set time automatically” back on!

512GB is more than enough, and even the jump from 512 to 1TB is crazy. Who on earth buys the 1TB/2TB?! Optimize your photos guys since it seems photos are what eats the capacity for most.

I just bought the new iPhone 18 Pro Max and I'm looking for some suggestions. I don't know which earphones I should buy for it. I previously used the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro with my old Samsung phone, but I don't want to spend a lot of money on new wireless earbuds right now, so I thought about going back to wired.

I was considering the wired AKG ones (ironically, Samsung's brand), but I don't know if they will have good sound quality on an iPhone compared to a Samsung phone.

Do you have any recommendations? I'm looking for earphones with silicone tips, not the hard plastic ones.

Just got an 18 pro and the wallet keeps opening asking to double-click.

I have no case, the phone is untouched on my desk with the screen on. It is in the same spot as my previous iPhone 12 but this has never happened before. It is next to my work iPhone 13 but if i try to put both together, nothing happens. NameDrop is off on both phones. Turned off most wallet settings that I can find.

To me, this HAS to be an issue with iOS27 or the iPhone 18 pro, but guides haven't helped. Seems there are many reports, but none resolved. If you have found something that worked for you please let me know!

I have this weird issue that when making a video and watching it in Photos, I see this weird grid all over the video. But while filming in the Camera app everything seems fine.

Does anyone have this issue as well…? I’m on iOS 27.0.1 and got this phone a week ago.

Guys, yesterday, my girlfriend’s WhatsApp account was apparently accessed by someone, and spam/scam messages are being sent to people. I personally received a message from her own number, but when we checked WhatsApp on her phone, the message wasn’t there.

Even after turning off her internet connection and putting her phone in airplane mode, the test message I sent still showed two check marks.

We can’t figure out who’s behind this. There are no devices listed under Linked Devices, and two-step verification is enabled.

Has anyone experienced something similar or knows what might be causing this? Any help would be appreciated.

ANY tips, suggestions, ect are greatly appreciated! I am so frustrated I want to throw my phone against the wall when my microphone goes off or worse cuts off while I am talking. Does anyone else have this same issue? No matter where I am, what app I am using, how strong my signal is, even when I am alone & there is no one or nothing with me to cause background noise it still cuts off while I am talking OR it will not come on!! I have tried so many things/suggestions I have gotten online, but still nothing. I even did the shortcuts option, and the problem is the same.
Can someone please help??

One of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had, especially from a company that charges premium prices for its products.
I purchased a brand-new iPhone 18 Pro Max, and it has been stuck on SOS with no cellular service since day one. After countless hours wasted dealing with AT&T, multiple eSIM activations, troubleshooting, and visits to Apple, the problem remains unresolved.
Apple has already publicly acknowledged cellular issues affecting this model, yet there still seems to be no reliable solution for customers experiencing them.
Apple initially replaced my phone, but the replacement had exactly the same problem. Now Apple Store technicians are offering to replace the motherboard on a phone that’s only a few days old instead of providing another complete replacement.
Why should a customer who paid for a brand-new premium phone have to accept a major hardware repair almost immediately after purchasing it?
Even more frustrating, an employee claimed that a new internal Apple service policy prevents them from replacing the device. When I asked to see this policy or receive an explanation, I was told they weren’t allowed to share it.
After all the wasted time, repeated visits, troubleshooting, and inconvenience, Apple is refusing what I consider the only reasonable resolution: replacing the defective phone with a fully functioning device.
The worst part is the complete lack of accountability. Customers are left going back and forth between Apple and AT&T while neither provides a lasting solution.
I didn’t pay premium prices to become a beta tester for Apple’s hardware problems. I paid for a working phone.
Extremely disappointing experience. Apple needs to take responsibility, stop wasting customers’ time, and provide a proper resolution instead of making people fight for basic warranty service.
Now have to wait another 3-6 weeks for a replacement from att because Apple refused

You may want to think about how important faceID is to you. I was team android for a while and had 3 different z folds. I went to iphone at the 14, then tried the z fold 7 when it came out and I was really struggling with the loss of faceID. I do a lot of stuff outside whether that's boating, atving, or anything else where my hands are wet and dirty which interferes with fingerprint unlock - or im wearing a hat and glasses which really doesnt work with samsung's face unlock. unlocking the z fold became a huge pain. there were other downsides too - worse camera, slower charging, worse thermal management, quieter speakers. no saying to assume all of these will be an issue with the duo, but it's possible. FaceID is definitely the biggest loss though. I sold the z fold and got a 17 pro max and it's been a beast.
