I've leveled a handful of alts to get the seasonal quest maxed out over and over. I've farmed helltides with the meta tree for prime evil spawns. I've tried farming the capstone dungeons. During that time, I've probably a couple dozen splinters drop, but they're always hatred or destruction, never terror. Is there something I can do to get the splinter I actually need next?

The statues on the Loh loading screen / by the Skovos docks. They are supposed to be Inarius and Lilith. Is the portrayal of Inarius, with a feminine chestplate, an Amazonian culture thing?

I've exclusively died to things that I can't see.

I genuinely don't even know what I'm supposed to be avoiding. I can't see the ground because there are a hundred mobs and flashy effects going off in every direction, how am I supposed to know there's an instant death pool under my feet?

I remember finding those little bugs that shoot the stream of smaller bugs at you annoying, but these other mechanics are just nonsensical with that they add to the game. The falling sword, and the electrified obelisks, and the pools of fire, and the pools of lava, and the pools of electricity, and the pools of blood.

I will be having fun with my build, not a meta build but just a fun one I made, not walking through everything, but having fun clearing areas. Then as I get swarmed by another hundred brightly coloured glowing giants that fill the entire screen, doing nothing differently than what has allowed me to survive so far, paying attention and dodging and moving, suddenly I die, seemingly randomly. This is the only way I die. When the screen is filled with colours and lights and one of the regular cannon fodder mobs happens to have an instant death mechanic.

It's dumb, and it's not fun.

I'd be accepting of a skill-issue, but I don't even know what to dodge and when.

Devs really either need to reduce the number of mobs onscreen, reduce the effects that can happen at once, or remove the instant death stuff. It's legitimately is ruining the experience.

I’ve been farming Splinters of Evil, and it’s driving me crazy trying to find where the Echoes are spawning.
I swear I used to be able to open my map whenever an Echo appeared and see exactly where it was spawning. Now, half the time, I get the notification, open my map, and can’t find anything.
I feel like I’ve missed a handful of Echoes simply because I have no idea where they’re spawning.
Did something change with how Echoes show up on the map, or am I missing something? Anyone else experiencing this?

I was one of the lucky ones who got moo’d at last season, and have successfully done the cow level several times.

I REALLY don’t want to go thru the arduous process of getting access to the Scalara Cow Island off Skovos if someone has come up with a better way, as I really want to go fishing. (I have a the other pieces of this set, and now my completionist heart desperately wants the damn boots.)

Any suggestions? I’m T12, but obviously happy to drop it if necessary….

EDITED TO ADD: I have access to the cow level because I was moo’d at. That doesn’t give access to the ISLAND tho, and that’s where ya gotta fish for boots. Was hoping someone knew of an easier way to gain access to the actual island.

I’ve been asking people in the local chat to moo at me so I can get access to the Secret Cow Island, and nobody has done it rip. Can someone just bless me with the moo 🫩

I am completely new to diablo and I've just finished playing the campaign for diablo 4 including the dlcs for the first time. I really want to know what people's thoughts are on the story and especially Lillith's character as I have no frame of reference compared to the previous games.

Personally, I really loved the story and I thought Lilith's character and motives were very interesting. By the end of the game I felt like she had come to terms with letting her children find their own path (with a very helpful amount of resistance from us).

But I dunno, it is possible I have fallen for demon lady propaganda, I'm not very good at media literacy.

I have heard conflicting things about using the Horadric's cube to transmute 3 crafted AMUs to remove the crafted tag. For the first time I have enough resplendent sparks to do this. But, as you can see, I have a number of really great rolls on my Herald's Morningstar. I am a bit worried about losing critical strike chance and the other bonuses.

I would like to hear from people who have done this.

1. Can someone confirm that this works?

2. I am assuming that aside from weapon damage and blessed hammer ranks, all the rolls are random.

Is there a trick to getting them to drop? I'm paragon 300 and haven't seen a single one this season. Last season they were dropping like confetti for me..

I need the crown for my build (with the right affixes), but unfortunately, the Echo bosses are far too difficult for me (I’m currently playing on T10). I’ve already transformed about 30 helmets into unique helmets, but I haven’t managed to get the crown even once.

You need an alt who can join T12 games, or switch to normal before you open your reputation caches, but that will probably give you worse loot.

When you get a splinter that you can't pick up, get someone to join your world. Make sure they don't return to their world when you leave the group. Leave game, switch to alt, re-join group, and pick up the splinter.

Might need more than 1 alt, depending. This definitely works in town, I have not tested it in a dungeon or open world.

This is forever burned into my head from when I first played the game as a kid (Diablo 2 I believe?) when my cousin showed it to me. Running around and hearing these little terds screaming it constantly. About 25 years ago now.. crazy to think about.
Was really hoping to come across them in one of these portals taking us back to the old games, a little disappointed they didn’t make it.

I’m very new to the Diablo series, and Diablo 4 is my first game. I’ve put quite a few hours into the main story playing as a Necromancer, and I’ve been really enjoying it so far!

Now I’m getting the urge to try a different class and start a new character, but I’m not sure what the best move is.

Should I finish the main story with my Necromancer first, or is it worth starting a new character now and skipping the campaign?

As a new player, I’m also wondering if skipping the campaign means I’ll miss out on important things or if I can still enjoy the game and progress normally.
I’d love to hear what you guys recommend for someone experiencing Diablo for the first time. Any beginner tips would be appreciated too!

What are the odds: the exact same item quality increase on the exact same affixes. (Both unmodifiable -- have yet to roll a transfig otherwise.) What's the opposite of twinning?

In all seriousness, I don't even really know why I'm still chasing tranfigs -- something to do, I guess -- it seems like I'm more-or-less at the DPS softcap on my build (homebrew spiritborn basic attacks with thrash DoT lightning ticks as the primary source of damage, 239 paragon, torch acquired, season journey complete, 120 pit) so I'm mostly just running bosses and trying to figure out what kills them just ~that~ much faster.

Trying to think what could really add a damage lever here for my class/build -- is gem strength really the ultimate transfig to chase, or is item strength + multiple modifiable rolls (excluding indestructable or whatever change to your affixes you don't want) what most people are looking for/would be happy with?

Wanted to know how I could achieve making the affixes that I need. I know I would need to enchant one skill to what I would need. Would I have to just hope t hat I can farm enough of them to be able to get what I feel are the perfect affixes for my gear? If anyone has any good getting the perfect affixes for your build utube videos, let me know. I watch a fair amount of them. I am using the Blizzard Endgame build off of Maxxroll.gg. Now and then when casting Blizzard, I teleport to where I'm casting. Is it because of the Galvanic Azurite? Or is it something else in this build? It has killed me now and then when doing pits and helltides. I don't remember it always doing this while leveling, so I'm guessing it is an aspect or that ring that I got. Anyone else using this build that can answer that question?

I just updated my neck to mythic and put a good affix on it with transfiguration and Kullean. Is the item done now or can I still apply a transfiguration without Kullean? Or will this override the already placed affix. I want to be absolutely sure :)

What is it about these pants that procs my enchantments?

I'm playing a Blizzard Sorcerer, and as soon as I leave a safe area, it starts going off.

I thought it was tied to Barrier, but I can't recreate the result.

Any ideas?

What is it about the pants that makes the enchantments proc faster?

Without the pants, it hits every 15 seconds. With them, 1.5. I can't manage that with any other gear. Is this a glitch, or just how these pants work?
