I was finally able to get Annihilus to drop after so many play sessions but was it worth it? If I make the switch, it seems like I would be losing out on a lot of damage and other things that compliment my swarm build as there is nothing that pushes the balzan charms.

How do you guys check if its useful?

This is forever burned into my head from when I first played the game as a kid (Diablo 2 I believe?) when my cousin showed it to me. Running around and hearing these little terds screaming it constantly. About 25 years ago now.. crazy to think about.
Was really hoping to come across them in one of these portals taking us back to the old games, a little disappointed they didn’t make it.

Literally have seen exactly one 6-slot charm on my main, a Sorc who's been blowing up T12 for a week now. Paragon 230, doing war plans, killing bosses, all the usual endgame activities.

AND I've even started 3:1 cubing legendary seals instead of selling, and still—1 godawful POS resource-affix +1 seal.

Hell, I'm even logging on every 3.5 hours for a possible Uber Diablo spawn literally JUST in the hope of a 6-slot charm.

I mean, is this a bug or what? Am I doing something wrong? What gives?

I just hit paragon 1 and I’m pretty confused on what this new board situation is? I’m a necromancer and currently still playing the campaign. This is my first Diablo so I’m wondering if I should just look at a build guide? If anyone has a helpful resource for that and also will I not get any more points for my skill tree now?

I've exclusively died to things that I can't see.

I genuinely don't even know what I'm supposed to be avoiding. I can't see the ground because there are a hundred mobs and flashy effects going off in every direction, how am I supposed to know there's an instant death pool under my feet?

I remember finding those little bugs that shoot the stream of smaller bugs at you annoying, but these other mechanics are just nonsensical with that they add to the game. The falling sword, and the electrified obelisks, and the pools of fire, and the pools of lava, and the pools of electricity, and the pools of blood.

I will be having fun with my build, not a meta build but just a fun one I made, not walking through everything, but having fun clearing areas. Then as I get swarmed by another hundred brightly coloured glowing giants that fill the entire screen, doing nothing differently than what has allowed me to survive so far, paying attention and dodging and moving, suddenly I die, seemingly randomly. This is the only way I die. When the screen is filled with colours and lights and one of the regular cannon fodder mobs happens to have an instant death mechanic.

It's dumb, and it's not fun.

I'd be accepting of a skill-issue, but I don't even know what to dodge and when.

Devs really either need to reduce the number of mobs onscreen, reduce the effects that can happen at once, or remove the instant death stuff. It's legitimately is ruining the experience.

I played diablo 4 a lot when it came out as a necromancer and i picked it back up yesterday. Its my first seasonal run and im starting brand new but i just don’t understand how you spawn skeletons?? Back when i was playing it was a separate skill for both warriors and mages and now not only can i not consume corpses, they are making me use 2 skills(raising mages costs essence). I cannot find anything anywhere about how that works because I just dont understand how the book of dead works anymore. So do i just ignore the corpses or am i doing something wrong?If someone sees this help a friend out.

I have 3 temerity's ready to go but they are blacked out. If not patched, do i need a certain item to roll the 3 to 1?

edit: Solved - its the recycle uniques option. got my temerity which rolled epic. went to uber lilith and took a wild ferocious dump all over her lol

Wanted to know how I could achieve making the affixes that I need. I know I would need to enchant one skill to what I would need. Would I have to just hope t hat I can farm enough of them to be able to get what I feel are the perfect affixes for my gear? If anyone has any good getting the perfect affixes for your build utube videos, let me know. I watch a fair amount of them. But from specific players like: Mattias, Ryker, Cliptis, and etc. Thanks for reading!

Infinity takes an eternity.

I have spent days researching this issue and tried everything to fix the problem, to no avail.

I am playing Diablo 4 on my PC with a Razer keyboard and mouse. A few weeks ago, I noticed when I typed any of the "W,A,S,D" keys, it would move my character and I would see Xbox buttons appear on my screen. When I tried to type any word that featured those letters in the in-game chat window, Xbox buttons would appear instead and would not let me type words such as "Thanks" because it has an "a" and "s" in the word. I looked at my controls under Options in-game and tried to disable controller key bindings but it would not allow me to.

From my research, I discovered that Steam had some sort of update that is conflicting with Battle Net even though I am not playing Diablo through Steam. Google AI is saying Steam must be completely shut down before attempting to play Diablo, which did not solve the problem. I also have never had a problem with Steam running in the background before. Google AI tells me that there is no way to disable controllers through Battle Net. There is also no overlay feature to turn off in the Battle Net app settings.

This all seemed to have started when I updated my NVIDIA drivers and added Diablo 4 to my Razer Synapse. I have since deleted Diablo from my Razer Synapse after the problem appeared.

Google AI also gave me other options to try such as disabling my Xbox controller from the Device Manager even though I don't have one plugged into my PC. It also suggested I disable anything in my task manager named "Gaming Services" which I did, and that seemed to help for a few days, up until NVIDIA's new driver update. Now I'm back to square one. Now when I type "A" or "S" in-game, nothing happens. My Abilities and Skill tree won't appear and I can't type those letters into the chat window. The Xbox buttons aren't appearing anymore, but I still can't type those letters.

In my task manager, I keep seeing Xbox programs running and every time I try to "End Task" or disable them, they pop right back up. I've gone into my Xbox app and disabled it from running on start up, but I still can't type certain letters in the in-game chat window.

I am having a hard time finding this exact issue on the internet because it would seem most people are having the opposite problem of their keyboard and mouse interfering with their Xbox controller.

I would rather not completely uninstall the Xbox app from my computer as I use an Xbox controller for other games on Steam. And honestly, I'm not even sure if that would fix anything.

Any advice would be highly appreciated.

You need an alt who can join T12 games, or switch to normal before you open your reputation caches, but that will probably give you worse loot.

When you get a splinter that you can't pick up, get someone to join your world. Make sure they don't return to their world when you leave the group. Leave game, switch to alt, re-join group, and pick up the splinter.

Might need more than 1 alt, depending. This definitely works in town, I have not tested it in a dungeon or open world.

Edit: SSF does not stop other players from doing world bosses and events. So those stating to do SSF, you obviously don't understand it's not 100% solo mode.

I don't get much time to play these days and honestly I'm getting tired of the over powered players. Glitches get found and all of sudden everyone has to play what's considered the best by the community. Some play it because of the instant gratification. Others start to play it because it seems like the only option.

I log on with my shield charge paladin for this season and I'm flooded with every public event, nothing but warlocks blinding my screen. Bosses are melted almost instantly on T12. I farm my prime rib and what is waiting at the alter? More overpowered people that burn the boss in no time. It gets to the point where i don't enjoy the game because people want to farm only the boss for loot instead of farming for the actual progress to get to the boss.

Lately I've only done the capstone dungeons, pit, hordes and anything else that allows me to not have some over powered elitist come and clear the screen in a second while cluttering it with all their effects. When I go for moophisto, I run around first to see if anyone is afk. If they are i just leave instead of using my prime rib. If not, I'll start the event. Usually though someone else comes in mid fight and burns him instantly. Collect my loot and leave.

Am I the only one that is truly wanting to play the mechanics of the game? I want to work my build and see how far I can push into pit and know I did it by earning the boss kills. Not by having some "git gud" attitude from some other player that uses some other persons build, glitches and all. The AFK farmers suck. The glitch exploiters suck. End of rant.

I am using the Blizzard Endgame build off of Maxxroll.gg. Now and then when casting Blizzard, I teleport to where I'm casting. Is it because of the Galvanic Azurite? Or is it something else in this build? It has killed me now and then when doing pits and helltides. I don't remember it always doing this while leveling, so I'm guessing it is an aspect or that ring that I got. Anyone else using this build that can answer that question?

I’m very new to the Diablo series, and Diablo 4 is my first game. I’ve put quite a few hours into the main story playing as a Necromancer, and I’ve been really enjoying it so far!

Now I’m getting the urge to try a different class and start a new character, but I’m not sure what the best move is.

Should I finish the main story with my Necromancer first, or is it worth starting a new character now and skipping the campaign?

As a new player, I’m also wondering if skipping the campaign means I’ll miss out on important things or if I can still enjoy the game and progress normally.
I’d love to hear what you guys recommend for someone experiencing Diablo for the first time. Any beginner tips would be appreciated too!

The statues on the Loh loading screen / by the Skovos docks. They are supposed to be Inarius and Lilith. Is the portrayal of Inarius, with a feminine chestplate, an Amazonian culture thing?

I've been playing a Necromancer minion build since the latest patch, and I've noticed that my repair costs seem significantly higher than they used to be 1.2mil for every single death.

I'm not sure if it's something specific to my build, the new patch changes, or if my minions are causing me to take more durability damage during certain activities. I've been running similar content as before, but the amount of gold I'm spending on repairs feels noticeably increased.

Has anyone else experienced the same thing with minion Necros or other classes since the update? I'm curious if this is an intended change, a bug, or if there's something I'm overlooking.

Would appreciate hearing your experiences and any tips you might have. Thanks!

I just updated my neck to mythic and put a good affix on it with transfiguration and Kullean. Is the item done now or can I still apply a transfiguration without Kullean? Or will this override the already placed affix. I want to be absolutely sure :)

Is there a trick to getting them to drop? I'm paragon 300 and haven't seen a single one this season. Last season they were dropping like confetti for me..
