I have the strong feeling the unique is better but the i am not sure.

edit : items have been tempered and upgraded but he capture has been taken a few minutes before - unique power in the capture is not maxxed out but it is now

edit 2 : thank you for the answers, I'll use the mythic one. I already have my mythic crafted helmet but im having drop sessions to get a non crafted one and then upgrade my unique gloves to mythic unique (praying RNG to be good).

I wonder when Blizzard will bring back this skin bundle?

I've been playing a Necromancer minion build since the latest patch, and I've noticed that my repair costs seem significantly higher than they used to be 1.2mil for every single death.

I'm not sure if it's something specific to my build, the new patch changes, or if my minions are causing me to take more durability damage during certain activities. I've been running similar content as before, but the amount of gold I'm spending on repairs feels noticeably increased.

Has anyone else experienced the same thing with minion Necros or other classes since the update? I'm curious if this is an intended change, a bug, or if there's something I'm overlooking.

Would appreciate hearing your experiences and any tips you might have. Thanks!

I just hit paragon 1 and I’m pretty confused on what this new board situation is? I’m a necromancer and currently still playing the campaign. This is my first Diablo so I’m wondering if I should just look at a build guide? If anyone has a helpful resource for that and also will I not get any more points for my skill tree now?

As you can see I have the Splinter of Destruction in use. I beat the Echo of Baal in the Worldstone Keep, got loot including another Splinter of Destruction.

It counted toward Rank VIII objective but not IX. All the prime evil powers are assigned. So what did I do wrong?

You need an alt who can join T12 games, or switch to normal before you open your reputation caches, but that will probably give you worse loot.

When you get a splinter that you can't pick up, get someone to join your world. Make sure they don't return to their world when you leave the group. Leave game, switch to alt, re-join group, and pick up the splinter.

Might need more than 1 alt, depending. This definitely works in town, I have not tested it in a dungeon or open world.

I've exclusively died to things that I can't see.

I genuinely don't even know what I'm supposed to be avoiding. I can't see the ground because there are a hundred mobs and flashy effects going off in every direction, how am I supposed to know there's an instant death pool under my feet?

I remember finding those little bugs that shoot the stream of smaller bugs at you annoying, but these other mechanics are just nonsensical with that they add to the game. The falling sword, and the electrified obelisks, and the pools of fire, and the pools of lava, and the pools of electricity, and the pools of blood.

I will be having fun with my build, not a meta build but just a fun one I made, not walking through everything, but having fun clearing areas. Then as I get swarmed by another hundred brightly coloured glowing giants that fill the entire screen, doing nothing differently than what has allowed me to survive so far, paying attention and dodging and moving, suddenly I die, seemingly randomly. This is the only way I die. When the screen is filled with colours and lights and one of the regular cannon fodder mobs happens to have an instant death mechanic.

It's dumb, and it's not fun.

I'd be accepting of a skill-issue, but I don't even know what to dodge and when.

Devs really either need to reduce the number of mobs onscreen, reduce the effects that can happen at once, or remove the instant death stuff. It's legitimately is ruining the experience.

I’m very new to the Diablo series, and Diablo 4 is my first game. I’ve put quite a few hours into the main story playing as a Necromancer, and I’ve been really enjoying it so far!

Now I’m getting the urge to try a different class and start a new character, but I’m not sure what the best move is.

Should I finish the main story with my Necromancer first, or is it worth starting a new character now and skipping the campaign?

As a new player, I’m also wondering if skipping the campaign means I’ll miss out on important things or if I can still enjoy the game and progress normally.
I’d love to hear what you guys recommend for someone experiencing Diablo for the first time. Any beginner tips would be appreciated too!

It's been 5 days now, I have had dropped either the hatred and terror splinters five times now, and no destruction. I am stuck with a wrong hellfire torch set and I am getting kinda desperate.

Please stop killing Echo Bosses in 1 second.

This is what happens: you're farming Whispers, maybe for an hour. Then an Echo Boss spawns on the other side of the map. Some meme Warlock teleports there and instantly one-shots the boss.

You finally get there, and the boss is already dead. No loot. You can't get Soulstones, you can't get a Hellfire Torch, and all that time farming was for nothing.

Please stop this. These broken one-shot builds are ruining the fucking game.

Literally have seen exactly one 6-slot charm on my main, a Sorc who's been blowing up T12 for a week now. Paragon 230, doing war plans, killing bosses, all the usual endgame activities.

AND I've even started 3:1 cubing legendary seals instead of selling, and still—1 godawful POS resource-affix +1 seal.

Hell, I'm even logging on every 3.5 hours for a possible Uber Diablo spawn literally JUST in the hope of a 6-slot charm.

I mean, is this a bug or what? Am I doing something wrong? What gives?

Related… I’ve been playing spiritborne. Is there another class that’s fun / satisfying to gear up as an alt? The only way I grind that much would be with a less spammy class.

What are the odds: the exact same item quality increase on the exact same affixes. (Both unmodifiable -- have yet to roll a transfig otherwise.) What's the opposite of twinning?

In all seriousness, I don't even really know why I'm still chasing tranfigs -- something to do, I guess -- it seems like I'm more-or-less at the DPS softcap on my build (homebrew spiritborn basic attacks with thrash DoT lightning ticks as the primary source of damage, 239 paragon, torch acquired, season journey complete, 120 pit) so I'm mostly just running bosses and trying to figure out what kills them just ~that~ much faster.

Trying to think what could really add a damage lever here for my class/build -- is gem strength really the ultimate transfig to chase, or is item strength + multiple modifiable rolls (excluding indestructable or whatever change to your affixes you don't want) what most people are looking for/would be happy with?
