I bought my first omnibus, and after a long week of anxiously waiting for it, it's finally here! I loved Ram V's 'Tec run (Gotham Nocturne) that I needed to buy it and I'm super happy to have it physically with me!

Discussion The addiction begins 😭 [discussion]
Cant stop buying comics, i just see 8 euro compacts and i buy. Ik im a compact merchant rn but theyre j so good value so many pages for so little. Most excited for dark victory and wonder woman (long halloween might be my fav comic and diana might be my fav character)
Green arrow year one was short and sweet. I want more green arrow but i cant find any comics of his. Green lantern/ Green arrow chapters were fun tho (wasnt aware of speedy addiction that was a shocking cover)
Batman: arkham asylum was really good but im stuck because on one hand I dont like how batmans depicted but i dont mind it because its supposedely a purgatory like dream sequence, but im not a big fan of stories that arent based in some form of reality. Genuinely incredible art tho
Im ngl i wasnt the biggest fan of dark knight returns but i might give it a reread after some more bat cus i hear its better to read after reading a few bat comics cus it plays on his history. Currently reading morrisans run on batman and enjoying it somewhat.
Thoughts on the comics shown?, particularly the killing joke and these wonder woman runs. I hear little on the ww runs and diverse ops on tkj
Dont need to hear about dark victory i can smell it will be peak

Discussion [discussion] why isnt "one Million" talked about as much as other DC events (even the non-crisis ones) other Alternate DC futures and Other grant Morrison works
i mean it was popular and well-liked enough from what i know and the premise is gimmicky enough to stick in your mind and yet the only time one million stuff appears seems to be in other Morrison works like All Star Superman

Comics [DISCUSSION] I really enjoyed this (Green Lantern - Earth One)
First things first, I am not really a GL guy, I've read a few things here and there but it's never a hero that really grabbed my attention. I bought this because I quite liked The Question/Batman/GA Arcadia from Gabriel Hardman, and was interested in reading a continuity-free GL story, and in the end, I greatly enjoyed this. I love the fact that anyone can stumble on a ring in this universe, much more interesting than "being chosen" in my opinion. I also loved that this was pretty much a "rising against oppression and corruption" story. The Guardians and the Manhunters being the main antagonists really worked for me. The pacing is brisk, the character moments work, and the artwork is absolutely fantastic. It might actually be one of my favorite GL story. The whole "color spectrum" and oaths and whatnot was never something that interested me, so I never really dove in the franchise, and I don't really intend to. I hope they reprint volume 2 eventually.

Discussion [Discussion] What changes would you make to Earth 3's Crime Syndicate
[Art by: Frank Quitly]
With the massive success of the Absolute Universe with their more "gritty" I guess versions of our beloved heroes, It got me thinking about how, in my opinion, underutilized a concept the Earth-3's Crime Syndicate are with their morality shifted villainous versions.
For me, Ultraman, I wish was a little more competent. Owlman’s perfect as is, no notes, loved him in the movie. Personally would rather if Superwoman was just an alternate version of Diana instead of a weird amalgamation with Lois Lane, and was more of her own character instead of being relationship drama incarnate between her and the other two (also, this is just nitpicking tbh, but don't particularly love the name, same with Ultraman, wished his codename was something that started with an S instead)
(Btw I'm struggling to remember, but do they call themselves the Crime Syndicate, or is that what the people of Earth 3 call them?)
