Hi everyone, I'm just trying my new costume for halloween, hoping to actually work(never thought I'd say that lol). I do have the belt and cape that velcro to the dress, i was mostly just trying this first. I gave a wig and makeup I need to buy. Red socks to mimic the boots for practicality :3

Can't wait to reshare it 🫶

It would have been interesting if John had to go to National City for a small crisis that deals with magic. And ask the Superfriends family for help.

What I find interesting is that Kara believes in magic. When she grew up on Krypton. Even though the base line of Kryptonian society involves science. Kara actually believes in magic. Especially during the whole Reign and the Worldkillers. When she was at the DEO. Kara told Lena and Alex that what deals with the Worldkillers is actually older than science. And Lena said please don't say magic. Kara doesn't just believe in magic but also her religion and science. When the Worldkillers foundation is magic, science and religion. Kara has always believed in things greater than herself. Hell Kara believed more of Lena and her magic than she did of herself.

Honestly it would have just been interesting seeing Kara, Lena and John interact together.

Hello!

I was thinking of writing a fanfic so I wanted to make sure that I got the timeline of events (mostly about Kara) prior to Season 1 correct. I was wondering if I got anything wrong or missing anything big. Any ages would be at the end of the year.

• 1966
  • Kara is born
• 1970 (Kara 4 yo)
  • Kara learns Calc
• 1979 (Kara 13)
  • Kal (Clark) is born
  • Krypton is destroyed. Kara sent to the Phantom Zone.
• 1989
  • Alex is born
• 1993
  • Lena is born
• 1997 (Lena 4, maybe 1998)
  • Lena adopted by the Luthor family
• Pre-2003
  • Zod attacks
    • I'm putting it here otherwise Fort Rozz would be around and help Zod
• 2003 (Kara 13, Alex 14, Lena 10, Clark 24)
  • Kara and Fort Rozz land on Earth
• 2005 (Kara 15, Alex 16)
  • DEO finds out about Kara
• 2006 (Kara 16, Alex 17)
  • Jeremiah "dies"
• 2007 (Kara 17, Alex 18)
  • Kara has a history class with Alex? (Isaiah Washington)
    • This doesn't make sense as either Kara is in advanced placement or Alex was held back. Considering that this is a history class Kara should not have been able to get into an advanced class and its unlikely that Alex was held back.
  • Alex is a Junior
  • Kenny investigation
    • First time Alex and Kara ate lunch together?
    • Age wise per the episode Midvale 03x06, Kara is 15 and Alex is 17. This doesn't make sense for Kara as she should at the youngest 16 this year however this does work for Alex depending on when her birthday is in relation to this event.
• 2008 (Alex 19)
  • Presumably Alex graduates High School
• 2009 (Kara 19)
  • Presumably Kara graduates High School
• 2010 (Kara 20)
  • Kara interns at Midvale Newspaper for one summer
• 2012 (Kara 22, Alex 23, Lena 19)
  • Alex is doing poorly in school
    • I don't know what level of education she is supposed to have. The wiki has her with an M.D., a Ph.D. in bio-engineering, and she practiced at a hospital in Seattle (I know this is supposed to be a reference). However, its only been four years since she graduated high school and a M.D. usually takes four years and it requires a bachelors degree which also usually takes four years not to mention her Ph.D. and she was still in school hence doing poorly. She probably couldn't continue her education much after this as she is working full time at the DEO although her level of education could have been a cover for her job.
  • Alex is recruited into the DEO
  • Lena graduates from MIT
    • Unlike Alex, Lena was probably fast tracked through a lot of her education (K-12) so it makes sense she graduated early.
• 2013 (Kara 23, Alex 24)
  • Kara graduates with a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing
  • Kara becomes Cat's assistant
• 2015 (Kara 25, Alex 26, Lena 22, Clark 36, James 30s couple years younger than Clark?)
  • Lex turned the Sun Red (latest point in time)
  • Start of the show

Hi i'm new i'm watching Supergirl for the first time right now and i'm so sad about Lyra and Winn... We never see Lyra ever again after that episode, when she joins the guardian team, they never talk about her for some reason and later when Winn go back from the future he says he founded a new family, so she literally disappeared...

I admit I don't know if it's about the actress if she's relevant, and i'm not English native so there's a chance I didn't understand quite enough the end of her story.

But i'm still sad... they were so cute and it was one of the only human alien relationship in the superfriends team (outside of Kara's)

okay this is soo random and probably will be deleted but i played young andrea rojas in supergirl. and i just wanted to come here and share a short film i directed that i recently posted online. it has nothing to do with supergirl but thought maybe this community would be supportive! it’s pretty dark. stars Anna Lore who is in Gotham Knights..

let me know if you watch so i can thank you for watching!! pls don’t delete me lol

Who are some of the characters you thought were done dirty

Superman and Supergirl getting pissy about Kryptonite being around always annoyed me and what Lena says right here is absolutely true. She didn’t use it on her at this point, she had it as a security measure and clearly for good reason. We’ve seen evil Superman/Supergirl, other kryptonians, mind control on a scale that would overwhelm the kryptonians and turn them on their friends but Supergirl thinks there should be no contingency plan to stop her or Superman? God complex is right 😤 humans can die in thousands of ways and she can die by reliably by 1. Big whoop get over it supergirl

She fights like someone who can fight without powers versus Superman who relies a lot on his powers when fighting

For this one, I picture an alternate season 3.

After Supergirl gets her rear handed to her by Reign and loses consciousness, she awakens on Themyscira, where she sees Alex and Diana AKA Wonder Woman, played by Adrianne Palicki, which of course is a nod to her failed pilot from 2011.

But we can have her dressed in a more "TV friendly" Wonder Woman attire than Gadot's. I picture the Odyssey style jacket and pants.

This wouldn't be a huge role for season 3. After the fight with Reign, Diana takes to Paradise Island to heal and train, bettering herself for the second fight against Reign. Then, they have a meaningful goodbye, with Diana recognizing this fight is Kara's, and she will not interfere.

PLEASE NOTE: Fan casts are pretty much based on looks only, with a few exceptions, which I'll try to note.

I like to imagine an alternate season 5, which IMO was when the show went really... splat. Leviathan wasn't an intriguing big bad... Lex was overused and honestly should have been done after Crisis (As much as I love Cryer's take).

In my alternate, Apokolips has been Darkseid-less for years, having been defeated by Superman offscreen, leaving the planet in a power vacuum similar to the first season of Justice League Unlimited.

In a bid to claim the throne, Granny Goodness is attempting to find the Anti-life Equation, which involves Earth, leading her and her Furies into conflict with Kara and her team.

Concurrently, Mister Miracle escapes from Apokolils and arrives on Earth to assist Team Kara, which, of course, ties into a redemption arc for Barda, with the season ending with her becoming a hero and leaving with Mister Miracle.

Granny Goodness- Sharon Gless. Watch her on Burn Notice and you'll get why. Tough as nails and no nonsense.

Lashina- Janet Montgomery

Mad Harriet- Jane Levy

Stompa- Jade Cargill. WWE wrestlers are exceptionally good at over the top acting. Plus she's shredded.

Barda- Jamie Alexander

Mister Miracle- Penn Badgley.

This one isn't season specific, but i love the idea of Lobo, having lost a battle to Superman before the events of the series, being a prisoner at the DEO.

After an "event"- vague, I know- J'Onn and Alex realize they have someone who might be able to provide information... and Kara and Alex need to... "Hannibal Lecter" with Lobo, who explains and is forced to join them on a mission off world, where he inevitably betrays them, but... maybe he helps them in the end as well, as the "Main Man" keeps his word. And he leaves...

For casting I'm, again, leaning WWE with Roman Reigns. This will allow Lobo to be over the top and embrace the humor of the character.

Heyyyyy I'm back with more! (SLIDE 13 HAS SOME VERY SUGGESTIVE ART SO BE CAREFUL!!)

Has anyone else seen this clip of Melissa and Jeremy reunion? I audibly squealed when this showed up on my feed.

Also, it’s my first time seeing Melissa’s well toned back. Holy!!!

thought i would post this since i haven't seen anyone else post about it and the news has been out for at least two weeks.

I am in search of any volume of the charity supercorp zine to purchase for my own enjoyment! I regret not buying when they were originally being made

I compiled this playlist fairly recently...& I did so in honour of my favourite fan-couple to ever exist in the history of the DC Universe (Second only to the WonderBat). Kinda a waisted opportunity Post-Crisis on Earth-X that they didn't have the two of them actually be together in the mainstream.
