Discussion I absolutely love this version of Lex.
Prison brought the worst out in him, and any veneer of the charismatic businessman is gone. He's dangerous, he's vengeful. And his target isn't Superman, beloved demigod. It's Lois Lane. Just what a chilling take.

Question Question for you guys (Spoilers if you hadn't watched it. It concerns S4) Spoiler
It bothers me. With all the tech at their disposal for security & surveillance. Why in the world haven't they added security cameras and motion sensors to the Kent house or the Smallville Gazette, as soon as Lex moved into town?
Every time they intentionally encountered Lex. Why didn't Lois record most of her interactions with him? They've all got cellphones. Surely, she would have gotten plenty of evidence of him confessing left and right. He sure was quick to do the same to them. And paint the narrative to make him look like the victim. I know that Milton guy was screwing with their tech but he didn't even come along until later. She had plenty of opportunities.
I think if she were a good journalist she'd know to do this by now.

Question How would have you rewritten some of the show? What would you have fixed in the show?
There are some issues I haveā like maybe Lex couldāve been a little bit more Comic Accurate. Keep the gruff energy about him, but give him more of his techy side and his supervillain side. Make it so him and Superman battled long before he was framed, maybe he was in a Suit trying to appear as a hero putting a way crime that he controlled but was stopped by the Moxie murder and being framed for it. Superman and Lex clashed but it looked like Lex was the good guy till the public until he was framed.
Next, Ally should not have been Parasite. She shouldāve been a crazy cult leader trying to merge the worlds, and we shouldāve wondered if the other world is even real or not. Maybe Bizzaro could have just been an illusion or an expirement made by Ally. This couldāve been very vague and maybe Jonathanās sense of powerlessness and guilt form the X-K could have led him to Lucy and the cult.
Also, what if we changed Andersonās name to Hank Henshaw. He couldāve been trying to prove that whole season after he was fired he was better than Superman and become a cyborg to do it.
What do you think?

Discussion It's sad that there were no Arrowverse characters in this show
I understand if the writers didn't want to add this show to the Arrowverse and didn't want to do crossover episodes. But it would have been nice to have had a cameo appearance from The Flash and The Arrow in at least one episode. I think it would have been fun. I also think that Barry Allen always adds a positive vibe wherever he goes.

Discussion Controversial Opinion: I think Tom Welling should have been cast as Superman for this show
Superman and Lois is about them moving back to the town of Smallville, which is also the name of the show that Tom Welling played a younger Clark Kent. It would have been nice to see him reprise the role as an older Clark Kent going back to his home town. I don't know why they didn't do this. Tom Welling is definitely the obvious choice for Superman in this show. What were TV execs thinking? They always make silly decisions when making TV shows.
I just wanna say that I like Tyler Hoechlin in this show. But he will always be my alpha wolf. (Teen Wolf reference)

Discussion BRO DEADASS?
Igh nah can we talk. Is it true that they deadass canceled this AMAZING/BEST CW show for this lame ahh other version of live action Superman movie? Google said they say it was going to have 7 seasons and that's why Jon's powers felt so rushed but they canceled it because DC didn't want 2 live action Supermans competing...... Cw Superman is by FAR the only Superman I've ever liked (meaning looks wise and how he plays the role) aside from the Henry Cavill version.
if this is true then all I have to say is please bro can we STOP CANCELING GOOD ASS FUCKING SHOWS FOR SOMETHING LIKE A MOVIE THAT MIGHT NOT EVEN CONTINUE AFTER THE FIRST ONE?

Discussion How Do You Imagine Clark Protecting His Identity In This Situation?
Let's say in Season 4 Episode 7, Clark decided not to reveal his identity when Candice's Dad/Emmitt shot at him.
How do you imagine Clark protecting his identity?
I am thinking maybe catch the bullets and make the gun explode or disable the gun to make it look like a misfire.

Discussion Would you support bringing back Superman & Lois? I started a petition
Edit: Just to clarify ā I loved the ending and Iām not asking for it to be undone or replaced. Iād simply love to see more stories with this cast and this version of Superman, whether as another season, a limited series, or a special.
I absolutely loved Superman & Lois, especially Season 4.
What made the series so special to me was the balance of family, quieter and more human moments, emotion, and great Superman action.
I also think Season 4 left some really interesting possibilities for the future ā Clark living with a human heart and gradually losing some of his abilities, while Jonathan and Jordan are getting older and developing their own powers.
I know the show received a proper ending, but I would still love to see this version of Superman and his family return someday ā whether as Season 5, a limited series, or a special.
So I started a petition to show DC Studios and Warner Bros. Television that there are still fans who would watch more.
Petition:
Would you be interested in seeing this version of Superman & Lois return?

Discussion Quick Question.
So like, looking at the arrowverse subreddit, there was this thing of people really wanting Jonathan to be some edgelord that sleeps around and is rude. Did I miss something?
EDIT: For anyone wondering where I found this: check the link- (https://www.reddit.com/r/Arrowverse/search/?q=Jonathan+kent&cId=d751bc39-46d0-479a-9eb3-b28bbf449448&iId=68083f27-159b-42ed-a5d9-db8dd36a15f7). I'm being so deadass that half of his comments on that reddit page is just rewriting him into a vampire diaries character. š«©āļø

Discussion Would have loved to see John Henry Irons of Superman and Lois earth backstory.
In season 3, we find out that the John Henry Irons of this earth worked for Bruno Manheimm and was eventually killed by him and even had a estranged relationship with his sister. It would have been interesting to see how everything unfold that led to his demise. Would you all have been interested to see it?

Discussion I was fine until this moment. This wrecked me. Spoiler
Having spoiled myself prior to the finale that Clark and Lois would die and reunite in the afterlife, I thought I wasn't going to cry myself silly in the finale, and at first, I was strong! I was able to hold it together at the start of Clark's monologue and honestly, while jarring, it was heartwarming to see how much everything has changed while we weren't looking.
..Then it happened. Lois got cancer again and died. At that moment I already felt tears appearing in my eyes. Lois' cancer storyline was fantastic, and she fought so hard to be rid of it, only for it come back stronger and eventually win. As Lois said, cancer was her villain, and she lost. Just that implication alone made me choke up already, but then it just kept going.
Seeing Clark alone, without Lois, and seeing how depressed he was after Lois' death, god something in me just broke. Then it happened, Clark died.
The entire afterlife sequence was great, while it is a hard "suspend your disbelief" moment, considering you see characters that shouldn't be there (the grandkids) and characters that should be but isn't (Sam Lane, Martha and Pa Kent, maybe even Sarah idk) I still loved it, and felt myself nearing tears watching it.
But it wasn't until this shot, when Clark and Lois finally reunite, Lois wearing the dress that was the center piece of the one of best episodes of the series, and Clark saying how beautiful she is, that I just broke. I cried like a newborn baby during this entire moment.
Superman and Lois were far from being a perfect TV show. It had tons of writing issues, lots of character arcs were rushed, especially in the fourth season, but dangit if it didn't completely nail the titular characters of Superman and Lois perfectly. Consistently, from the first season to the last, they are the characters given the most care, with great writing and fantastic acting from Tyler and Elizabeth.
It was a short time, Superman and Lois, but a good one. I'll be missing this show.
PS: Sorry if this is a bit long and probably a little cheesy, I just finished the finale, and I really needed to get my feelings out and thought this was the best way. While I had a lot of issues with the show, it was still a crazy fun ride, and I really fell in love with Hoechlin and Tulloch's portrayal of these characters and will miss them immensely in these roles.
Guess I'm off to rewatch Supergirl next!
