So the screen wont rotate when I rotate the phone, what do I do?

Is it still possible to transfer data between the two? They’re the same model, iPad Pro 11inches 2021 3rd gen. I have cables, a windows computer, what’s possible here?

Since last Thursday, i am having problem with renewing Google One (and probably every next) subscription through Apple account, and I can't find the solution anywhere online. I have two cards connected - one VISA, one MasterCard, and they are from different banks. Both cards were previously used for payments and subscription renewal. They were both added in 07/2026 and tested. Last transaction was from VISA (a primary card) day before it stopped working (subscription for Apple storage).

Only thing that is new is the version of the OS - I went to 27.2 beta because my battery was draining like mad even two weeks after updating to 27.0 and 27.1. Battery is fine now, but I am scared something more serious is bugged on Apple side. I tried updating my payment info and adding expiry date and CVV once again, but they are 100% correct. Browser changes on MacOS don't help neither. Only think I haven't tried is fully deleting one card and re adding it to the Apple account and Apple Wallet. Apple Pay works btw and I have enough money on both cards. Thanks to anyone for the help.

So I was going to buy something with my credit card on my iPad, which unlike my iPhone, does not have my debit nor my bank account linked to it. I was expecting a payment form to fill out, y’know, insert my card details and everything, but it simply asked for my Touch ID to complete the transaction, as if it had my card’s info on record despite me never saving anything on it.

Afterwards I got a little concerned about where it got the money from. I checked my bank account: no recent purchases. I checked my parents bank accounts (Since I recall using their account to purchase a plane ticket on this IPad once before, but I clearly remember that I opted out of storing their card’s details on this iPad) but no purchases were made there either. I checked and double-checked what I bought (which, don’t judge but I got a few Robux, about 6.99$ worth) and the transaction clearly went through and my balance was updated to reflect it.

I’m honestly pretty worried about where in the world my iPad decided to take some money out of to complete this payment, since I had a similar fiasco like this with my old bank account and I was hoping someone might point me in the right direction, since this is honestly a really strange and baffling situation.

Again, I’ll reiterate: I don’t have any cards, debit or credit, saved on my iPad. There (should be) nothing that my Apple Pay is using to complete this transaction, yet it did somehow

So a little less than a month ago I went on a ski trip and ended up losing my phone on the slopes. By the time I left I wasn’t able to find it, and declared it missing with t-mobile. Luckily, someone found it and had it shipped back to me today, and I declared it found. However, my iMessages in between when I declared it lost and found are not showing up. My whatsapp messages did, but iMessages didn’t. Is there any way to be able to see my iMessages, and if so how would I go about doing that?

I bought new wired Apple EarPods with the Lightning connector for my iPhone 12 (iOS 17.x). My phone doesn’t detect them at all. No audio output switch, no headphone icon in Control Center, and the volume and mic controls don’t work.

What I’ve tried:

- Restarted the phone and reset settings
- Plugged them in firmly with the case removed
- Tested the same EarPods on my friend’s iPhone 12 mini (iOS 26), where they work perfectly

Charging works fine on my phone, so the port isn’t totally dead.

Is this a software issue (iOS 17) or a hardware problem with the Lightning port? Has anyone had this happen, and what fixed it? Thanks!​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

I’m trying to restore an iPhone 12 using my HP Windows laptop, but I’m having trouble getting it to finish.
I’m using the Apple Devices app. The software download is around 10.5 GB, but every time I try to restore the phone, it gets partway through the download and then the phone turns back on and disconnects from the app.

Am I missing something.

Hello, I’m a professional illustrator and use procreate and an ipad to create my illustrations. Today I woke up and went to used my apple pencil as usual ( apple pencil gen 1 / ipad 9th generation )
It says connected, shows its charged..

But it doesn’t work.
I tap the screen with it and nothing.
I look up possible solutions : I replace the nibs, clean as instructed, charge it more, restart my ipad, reset the bluetooth connection, update the software.

nothing. No signs it recognizes the sensor. Is there any, ANY, potential solution??? I’ll buy a new one soon because I need this to work but idk if theres anything else I could try. Please help!!!

is there any way to fix it? only the low volume button works. also the ring/silent button is glitchy and if it’s in silent mode it will constantly push the volume to the max. if it’s in ring mode it switches from ring to silent and it buzzes every time i press the volume buttons

I dropped my phone a couple days ago and the screen went completely black (no cracks). Ran some stuff on it and found out it had been put in recovery mode. I then followed Apples instructions and eventually got to the point to where it wanted me to log in on computer. It then proceeded to say my newly reset password that it made me reset was incorrect... and then lock me out for 72 hours. Anybody got any tips with dealing with this BS? Just trying to get all my pictures onto a new phone and whatnot.

As in people can't hear me talk. I can hear them fine. If I record a video and send it people can hear me fine. if I use my computer to call over FaceTime people can hear me fine. I don't know what's wrong. Phone is the type that uses thumb print to log in. Bought 3 years ago.

Hello! I am a lifelong android user swapping to iPhone. I used the “Move to iOS” app on android to import account info, messages, and pictures. My messages are showing up as if it’s a group text, but with my phone number. I cannot make a new message or anything in the group messages. I have mms, rcs, and iMessage turned on. My actual phone number shows up in the “phone number” area, just as it appears in the iMessage app. Am I missing something or am I just going to have to start all new conversations?

iPhone got updated and after I updated it, it decided to stop charging, before you ask no it’s not a charging port issue because when I use my brothers charger and not mine it shows it’s charging the entire time instead of showing it charging for maybe four seconds then the charging symbol disappearing

I’m dealing with a bizarre and extremely annoying issue on my base iPhone 17, and I’m completely out of ideas.
Every single day at completely random times, my phone starts playing an alarm sound. Here is the catch: There is no standard alarm UI on the screen. I cannot see a snooze or stop button to swipe or tap. Instead, the entire homescreen just visibly shrinks/contracts into itself for a split second, the sound keeps playing, and I have no straightforward way to kill it immediately through the normal alarm interface.
What I’ve already checked / tried:
Checked the native Clock app for hidden or ghost alarms (none set for these random times).
Checked the Health App / Sleep Schedules (doesn't fit, as these alarms go off completely at random, sometimes around midnight or midday, not matching any schedule).
Restarted the device multiple times.
It’s becoming a huge burden, especially in quiet rooms where my phone suddenly starts randomly ringing like a gamble.
Has anyone experienced this specific bug where an alarm goes off without a proper dismiss interface, causing the homescreen to shrink/glitch? Any ideas on how to track down what process or ghost automation is triggering this?
