Answered Returning this item without the original receipt
I bought a small appliance a couple weeks ago and the box is long gone. The store says it should be fine with just the card statement, but I am not totally sure. Has anyone returned something recently with only proof of purchase on their statement? Did it work or did they turn you away? I just want a straight yes or no before I make the trip.

Answered What is the actual name for the recommended mileage check that comes up in the manual?
I was reading the owner's booklet for my car and it lists a service at 30,000 miles, but it just says inspection without giving the real term for it. I tried looking online and every forum seems to call it something different, like major service or interval check, so I'm not sure which one is correct. Does anyone know the official name for this kind of mileage based review that manufacturers expect you to follow?

Answered What's the best way to get that sour fridge smell out?
Every morning lately I open the fridge and get hit with this sour, off smell even though nothing looks spilled and everything is in date. I wiped the shelves and the door seals last week but the odor is still hanging around. Tried a bowl of baking soda too, but after two days it did not seem to change much. Anyone have a simple trick that actually works for getting rid of fridge smells without using harsh cleaners that might affect the food?

Why does time seem to go faster as we get older?
When I was a kid, summer vacation felt like it lasted forever. Now months seem to fly by, and sometimes I can't believe how quickly the year is passing.
Is there an actual psychological reason for this, or is it just because our daily lives become more repetitive as we get older?

Why do airplane windows have rounded corners instead of square corners?
I’ve noticed that airplane windows are almost always rounded or oval-shaped rather than square. At first, it seems like a design choice, but there is actually an important engineering reason behind it.
Why would square windows be a problem on an airplane, and how does the rounded shape make flying safer?
I’m curious about the science behind this design and whether the shape also has any advantages in terms of weight, manufacturing, or aerodynamics.
