Where are Jimmy Fallon and Seth Meyers? How many vacations do they take a year?
Over the summer, it seemed like they were gone more than here - vacation spanning months I guess. But this week they're gone too. What's going on? I thought these shows were daily, but recently it seems like they're disappearing more and more.

Why do airplane windows have rounded corners instead of square corners?
I’ve noticed that airplane windows are almost always rounded or oval-shaped rather than square. At first, it seems like a design choice, but there is actually an important engineering reason behind it.
Why would square windows be a problem on an airplane, and how does the rounded shape make flying safer?
I’m curious about the science behind this design and whether the shape also has any advantages in terms of weight, manufacturing, or aerodynamics.

Answered Dashboard light on after a short trip, anyone know what it usually means?
My relative just picked up their car after it sat for a couple of days and now a little light on the dash is staying on even after a normal drive. It does not seem to be the usual low-fuel one, and there is no weird smell or sound, just the light. The car starts fine and drives the same as before, but they are not sure if it is safe to keep using it. I have looked in the manual but the pages are vague and I am not great with cars. If anyone has dealt with something similar, would it be okay to drive it a few more days or should we get it checked sooner?

People of Reddit, how often do you wash the tops of metal cans before opening them up?
Applies to soda cans, beans, soup, or any type of food/drink really. Question stemming from the ickiness related to transport, storage, and handling.

Title: Why do airplane windows have a tiny hole at the bottom?
I've noticed that airplane windows often have a tiny hole near the bottom of the inner pane.
What's its actual purpose? Is it related to cabin pressure, condensation, or something else?
I'd be interested in the technical explanation of how it works

Answered What is the actual name for the recommended mileage check that comes up in the manual?
I was reading the owner's booklet for my car and it lists a service at 30,000 miles, but it just says inspection without giving the real term for it. I tried looking online and every forum seems to call it something different, like major service or interval check, so I'm not sure which one is correct. Does anyone know the official name for this kind of mileage based review that manufacturers expect you to follow?

Does smoking out the bathroom w extra steps help with the smell?
EDIT: weed, not cigarettes lol
I smoke a joint or a bowl every night, either by hotboxing my car or smoking in the backyard. It’s starting to get too cold to smoke outside, so I’m probably going to start smoking out of my bathroom window again.
The problem is that my parents hate the smell of weed and say it makes them nauseous. Sometimes they can smell it when I smoke in the backyard, but it’s usually pretty mild and they don’t really complain.
My question is, if I open the bathroom window, light a strong candle, turn on a hot shower, and run the fan, would that mask at least 70% of the smell? I know I can’t get rid of the smell completely, but I just want to minimize it as much as possible so it doesn’t bother them too much.
I am COMPLETELY nose blind to weed so I’d love some input on this. Thanks in advance!
