I’ve been seeing a lot of mid laners say that Yone is absolutely broken and is essentially a no skill champion because of his kit. But unless I hadn’t seen it before but it comes after his previous Critical Damage buff. Idk why but this whole thing reminds me of the Genji thing. Yone otp’s have been so used to a “weaker” state that any buff feels that much stronger, am I crazy for thinking this or is Yone actually THAT broken rn?

I honestly don’t understand the hate of the community for that skin, I don’t know if this is because high noon it’s better(which is, ofc) but for me doesn’t exist a big different between them.

The effects, speaks, chromas are amazing to me. Chromas and speaks I think it’s better the high noon btw.

But my favorite it’s t1, unbeatable

The nerf to the Q is small and it shouldn't be too bad. I think Yone will still be in a good spot after this

How I understand the current mid yone build is

AS BOOTS -> SB -> IE / LDR -> DD when going lethal tempo

Or

SR -> SB -> IE when going fleet

Top/ bot is

BORK(top) / SR (bot) -> SB -> IE / LDR

I’m wondering why it’s worth going over crit with 3 crit items instead of going more defensive (DD BT GA) earlier after getting 2 crit items and boots?

Aight so I have a list of people/places where you can watch Yone OTPs at the highest level. What I’m asking for specifically (based off your own understanding) is which of these players would be the best suited to teach being more aggressive and looking for angles to deal more damage.

I think currently Brohan and Tempest might be the way to go but I’d like more insight.

generally speaking yone get shit on by point and click ccs but pantheon feels so much more annoying. You cant really burst himdown because of his E. He press one button and youre fucked

I mean... it is not a small nerf, but Riot said that the right choice was to buff Yone Q and nerf his AA damage to reward skill... now his AA damage is buffed after crit and his Q is nerfed.

Anyway not a huge nerf either, it's fine.

I'm a new player and have decided to otp Yone, he's the champion I use in 90% of all my games. Currently, I only have Inkshadow Yone, was planning to get T1 Yone this oct by recharging 5 dollars. However, it seems Riot has decided to favour me. I can still only recharge 5 bucks this month, should I get the Legendary skin? It is a great discount, but I will also need to wait 1 year for the T1 to return.

Has more range than the traditional melee, has shield that can make enemy's poke useless, has one of the best ults in the game hands down, and E i dont want to even talk about that.. Why they thought ramping movement speed is a good idea.... People can say whatever but I found Naafiri much much harder to play than the overloaded Samurai... I hate the brothers but I have to admit, Yasuo is much harder because you're constantly looking for angle.

It gets to a point where people who talk about Yone are one of 3–4 types of people.

The people who don’t play the champion but have the audacity to NOT account for his effective threat range, his kit, weak-ass early game, how difficult his mechanics are at the most optimized level, how difficult his kit is from mid to late game because his reference points fluctuate every single fucking game and game state more so than almost every champion in game, etc., and then bitch and complain about getting clipped like a dumbass cause they walked into HIS range and expected to come out winning on some twink mage.

Low elo that sees “E > Q3 > auto = win game” clip and now can’t fathom the idea that the champ is genuinely hard as shit (side note: if he is SO EASY, climb with him from low to masters+. See how long and agonizing those excessive months to years plus it’ll take you vs just picking up a regular ass freak show champ like Viktor or Syndra or Darius or Renekton).

Yasuo mains: Our champs are completely different, they are both goated, but it gets to a point where y’all fix a lips and have the audacity to start speaking nonsense.

You’d think a Yasuo would understand the difficulty that comes with his older brother but turns out—if it isn’t surface-level mechanics, they’re critical thinking gets thrown out the window. I want you to imagine you first pick Yone right, NOBODY drafts around you, point blank period. That’s cool—let’s look at Yasuo team comp… airbone knock up front line, engage/tank support, tank with airborne, maokai/vi jungle, etc. One of the HARDEST concepts when approaching mid to late game team fights is layering cc and this mf Yasuo by purely existing generates good team comp drafting in SOLO QUEUE without anyone realizing it.
So that very hard concept? Bro turns into A point-and-click ultimate CC CHAIN. That ignores 60% bonus armor at 100% crit (which means your team has frontline engage and isn’t scuffed at draft).Is Yasuo mechanically hard to play for bare minimum success? Absolutely. But you don’t get the right to call my champ piss easy and then play him like a headless chicken on repeat and wonder why the fuck this is happening.
When on Yone- your comps aren’t free, your reference points aren’t as clearly laid out in comparison to: Early game demon (this especially an insane luxury since Yone is a POS lane champ) > Windwall during team fights in the mid/late > follow up for free chain CC via draft aura.

This is seen when watching people who are streamers that stream Yone at a higher elo… stop asking for Mortal Reminder, Wits End, and other genuinely shit items ya freaks, man.
