Had my Xbox Series X for less than 2 years now, never dropped it, cleaned it once and it’s been fine since (was overheating and crashing games/console) and I launched Paramount+ tonight and this happened… wasn’t able to hear or use the Xbox menu and there are black bars cutting off the static. Is my Xbox dying like it seems many others or is this possibly an HDMI/TV issue? Also the colored static was moving before I shut off my Xbox. Not asking for troubleshooting just if anyone else experienced this or knows what caused it?

Just recently got a new Microsoft Surface, and am trying the Xbox Play anywhere. And my games aren't showing. Except two that are my grandmother's. I'm trying to get FH3 on here. Which I digitally got back in 2018. Am I doing something wrong?

So I bought both the deluxe edition and the charting the unknown DLC a while ago and Xbox has already taken the credit from my account but I just got this notification and am worried somethings gone astray am I good or should I contact Xbox support

Hey everyone, first time posting here.

I’m having a weird issue with my Xbox Series X and I’m running out of ideas. Every time I launch a game, it works for maybe 2 minutes and then completely freezes. It stays frozen for around 5 minutes and eventually kicks me back to the home screen. (Does not happen with streaming apps)

At first I thought it was overheating, so I opened it up, cleaned everything really well and replaced both the thermal paste and thermal putty. Put everything back together and unfortunately it’s still doing the exact same thing.

Has anyone had something similar happen? I’m wondering if maybe the SSD is going bad, or if it could be the RAM or GPU itself.

Any ideas on what I should test next would be really appreciated. Thanks!

So 2 weeks later of having no account got this email today, and hoping it means it's a good sign, 2fa wasent activated by the hacker thankfully and my password wasn't changed my, my email was the only thing changed and I provided all the info possible that's on my account, so I'm mostly just asking is this a good sign to getting my Xbox account back in my possession.

my xbox makes this crazy whirring noise that if i get on any game it starts up like crazy. kinda correlates with the speed of the fan but i just literally cleaned the fan and also screwed it back tightly so i’m kinda stumped on this one. please help me

Don’t exactly know if this is the right place to ask this so if it’s not I would like it if someone could direct me to a more suitable subreddit or site. But can anybody help me figure this out if it is? My Stealth 600X Gen 3’s mixed simply does not want to work and specifically chooses not to work on Wireless mode on my Xbox, but works perfectly fine through Bluetooth when connected to my phone. So it makes me think it’s something with my Xbox and its settings rather than my actual headset.

All of a sudden, when I turn it on, it's only taking up half the screen. I've googled the issue and it says it's either my TV settings(which haven't changed), a power source issue(I just got a new power cable 6 months ago), or an HDMI issue. I've tried switching the HDMI cable around and it's still doing the same thing, but I don't have another HDMI cable to test it with. Has anyone else had this issue and resolved it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've had an intermittent issue with my Gamepass games on my PC, whereby when I try to launch them, they give me Error 0x87e10bd4. I temporarily fixed it by restarting Gaming Services, but the error has come back again and I haven't been able to resolve it.

Any suggestions?

When I first logged onto Xbox I used the tag "DIRTV JT"... That's every bit of 20-25 years ago lol. But somewhere along the way I must have misplaced my log in info or created my current gamer tag "InferiorJoint" because as I powered on a new to me series x (I haven't powered on a console in the better part of a decade) and used the login info I created to prepurchase GTA6 the tag that came up was "InferiorJoint". Buuut, by going through Joint's friends list there's my old DIRTV name! It still exists!!! I tried using what I thought could be the log in for it, but that's literally ancient history... Is there a process for getting the DIRTV JT tag back? It'd be bad ass to have my old tag to log into GTA 6 for the first time. Thanks.

Basically, my right joystick (the look around one) keeps drifting up, making my character always look up, or when I'm scrolling through options on a menu it keeps going to the top. I've tried cleaning the insides with a small brush, hasn't worked, so it's not debris. I'm not sure on what else I can do to fix it. Does anyone have any ideas on what to do?

Hello, I’m not sure how to word this but Yk those idle notifications that come up to right hand of the screen well when my Xbox goes idle it only ever shows one and it’s either one for HaloMC or GTA5.

Edit: Sorry, my question is Why does it only ever show the one, and If possible how to make it show more the just the one.

This randomly started happening after months of it working normally. It still works wired, but for some reason, when trying to connect to bluetooth, it just vibrates twice then dies.

The only way to get it to light up again is to take the batteries out and put them back in again, then it flashes quickly for like 10 seconds but doesn't show up on the bluetooth add devices list.

Things I have already tried: 1) Updating the firmware - Updated it via the Xbox accessories app, still no fix.

2) Turned the power saving off on the bluetooth adapter and other networking devices via device manager.

3) Getting new batteries.

4) Searched everywhere on Google/Reddit. Nothing works. Does anyone have a fix for this?

I can’t link my Microsoft/Xbox account to my PlayStation account to play Forza Horizon 5 on my PS5 after playing since launch. I’ve tried all the suggestions but the one I didn’t try was verifying my age in the Xbox app. How do I do this? Many comments say this fixes the issue but can’t figure out how. I am in North America.

So I just recently upgraded and I’m trying to understand if I can still play series s|x games from the cards themselves if I’m not mistaken? But not the hard drives right? Also what brand should I look into buying for expansion cards? Seen people say to not buy branded stuff.

I manage to sync my could saves from the series x to my rog alley x so I can play on the go. When I tried to play again on the series x and the files for sync, it only gave me the option to play a New Game, not continue my old save file. I can still play my save file on the alley x and it shows that the save file is sync.

I deleted the local files on the Series X, restarted the console and even uninstalled and reinstall the game, but the save file, although it shows its sync, it does not let me access. Any ideas on what else to do?
