Idk why people are adamant that Revenant is a problematic frame or that he NEEDS changes SUPER BADLY because he’s BRAINDEAD, as though 90% of this game’s roster is made to be simple and easy to pick up. There are of course a few exceptions, but my point is that Revenant having Mesmer skin does not make him an extremely braindead or problematic frame, especially when we have other similarly effective or braindead ways to stay alive or clear missions.
And it’s annoying because they will regurgitate the same shit heard from a YouTuber that THINKS they know everything about the game. “Revenant’s entire kit is bad he only has Mesmer skin” uhhh…no? I mean, Thralls are annoying to use since they spread way too easily, which means you can just…not have any nearby if you move…but just about every single part of revenant’s kit is strong, if not a bit jank.
Thralls are great CC, because the effect both over guarded and normal enemies, causing the former to fire at the latter. Really sucks trying to control where your thralls are. But you ARE encouraged to kill them all when you want to move, so...
Reave is good damage and movement. Yes, the health and shield regen is worthless, but it also restores Mesmer skin charges. Just feels a bit clunky to use, but otherwise a good ability.
Danse Macabre is pretty strong if you forgo using your thralls. Its damage scales with enemy damage, which means it can output some pretty stupid numbers. I think it’s weird that the ability has anti synergy- it’s not as bad as Baruuk but could still use something.
Revenant’s current identity is “strong but jank enough to get some touchups/buffs/tweaks at some point” not “overwhelmingly boring and braindead.” Hes not the best at anything in particular, but he’s treated with the same notoriety as the hunchback for some reason.
Thats another thing actually- the Warframe community will treat any assertion that Revenant is boring as FACT. They’ll treat the act of using him or enjoying him as some sort of bad thing, and you can see it everywhere you go. Revenant players are looked down on or treated like they’re worse at the game or whatever because they picked a frame that people just arbitrarily don’t like, despite the fact that he’s far less disruptive than other frames. It’s kind of like how monster hunter fans treat longsword players.
I’m kinda tired of this discussion. I don’t even play him that much, but I just know people are gonna bitch so loud that the devs make some change that no one who plays him actually wants. Thats part of the reason why I’m worried for any Limbo changes. But then again, the Banshee update was really good. (Well her survivability is a bit mid but eh)
Sorry, this was more of a rant than an intelligent post. Revenant isn’t a main of mine, he’s probably not even in my top 10 most used frames. But he looks cool and I don’t have too many issues with his kit. As someone who actually tries him out somewhat often, it kinda irritates me when this discussion comes up, cos it just turns into people repeating shit they heard a YouTuber say, or begging for nerfs/big changes on a frame they don’t use in a PvE game.
And there’s nothing wrong with nerfing frame, but again, a revenant in your party is a neutral point- they aren’t going to steal many kills from you unless their weapon is op. It’s not like having a thermal sunder build, or a Sevagoth, etc.
Edit:
And another thing that sucks is that people will actively choose the most boring way to play him and then say “yea revenant is boring lol”

I've played Warframe back in 2018 very casually, but I've managed to sink 102 hours on and off for a month. All I remember was that a classmate back then suggested I use Valkyr to cheese the early game bosses and later fell in love with Equinox so I played her briefly. I reached the point in the story where I just unlocked our pilot (Operator?) and was stuck on one of the planets because I need to reach a certain level of Mastery first before I could progress.
I wasn't particularly knowledgeable of the builds back then (mods, forma, etc.), I only learned and understood these when I played a couple of games inspired/based from Warframe (TFD and DNA).
So now, I want to play the game again since my friends are playing it, should I start from the beginning, or is it okay to just pick up where I left from? Which Frames would you suggest for a lost returnee like me? I've heard the game has since then improved a lot so it wasn't as sluggish as back then, how true is that?
Lastly, if there are must-watch content creators or specific guide videos, resources, docs, please point me to them. Please help me, Tenno!

kinda wish we had some more basic furnishings like sinks, toilets, stoves, etc. A proper bed would be nice too, those floofs are kinda tedious to farm

It would fall in line with them killing the Kuva Bramma and Kuva Zarr only to release the Incarnon Torid and Incarnon Latron half a year later.

Figure it's been a while since constellations, anyone know if Sirius & Orion have been fixed yet? I kept running into a bug where they'd get "stuck" after swapping and be unable to use abilities, or even entirely unable to move/attack/do literally anything besides emote.
Haven't seen any patch notes saying they fixed it. There was one a while back saying they "fixed a script error related to Sirius & Orion's passive", but I was still getting the bug after that, too.
Anyone still getting this bug/knows that it's been patched? They've been sitting as "unplayable" for me until that gets patched.

So, I happen to discover this bug when deciding on what ship to take with me. Not going to lie, I'm not mad at the results. Looks unique. I loaded up a mission to see if it was still there and long and behold it did. But, I don't know how to upload the second clip on here to show the loading screen.

What I have in mind so far is using the Nataruk, Grimoire, and Paracesis as they have all been significant in the story and I usually run Umbra for story content.
I’m running triple umbral set on Umbra himself and his 1, 3, and 4 augments. Not sure on his 1 augment but I think I’ll keep the 3 and 4 augments for now. Last two slots are the strain mod and primed flow. I’ve got arcane persistence and blessing which gets a little over 2000 health.
No idea how to build the Nataruk.
Grimoire gives me energy regen and universal orbs with limited priming.
Paracesis is using radiation to hit sentients harder as well as a double umbral set with attack speed and crit to boot. I have melee careen for now and truth’s flame.
Exalted blade is base electric with status and attack speed with double umbral mods and discipline’s merit plus life steal on heavy and I just threw on melee influence for now.
I have a helminth charger with the whole strain set but I’m not locked in on that. Basically all the melee bond mods and the loot mods.
Claws have shocking claws, precision conditioning, protector posture and bell ringer to get IPS status and electric, toxin and magnetic all in one. Might throw rad mod in there.
Naramon for now cause melee.
Would love to hear build suggestions or synergies. I’m planning to keep all the umbral mods and might do a helminth ability.

Personally I think there's a secret noogle there, like with the tennocon 2025 relay

IIRC the Arlo strain came from there.
Also that quest was the first time I heard the Infestation speak our language.

For farming Moonflesh more efficiently, one method that seems to work well—and that other players have also found effective—is running Nova in Survival(using her 4th to make everything faster) I've had her 3rd swap for trinity's healing(because you would poison very often on these and because the enemies are infected so they some enemies carry innate toxin status) and staying near the center of the map to avoid disrupting enemy spawns or making the enemies run around.
As for the drops, Moonflesh will not be affected by Resource Boosters, Double Resource Boosters, or Warframe abilities and augments that increase loot drops or drop chances as everyone knows Loot frames such as Hydroid, Atlas, Khora, and Nekros don't increase the amount of Moonflesh per drop. I've tested each of them twice in 10-minute runs on the Zabala sector(Non-alert mission runs), and each drop still contained only three Moonflesh. The drop frequency itself also seems to remain random, follow a possible pattern, or simply depend on luck/RNG.
However, Smeeta Kavat might be an exception, possibly due to a bug or glitch. With Smeeta Kavat, Moonflesh seems to drop much more frequently, I've tested this with loot frames(Nekros and Khor) and non loot frames(Nova and Revenant) on the 10-minute runs on the Zabala sector(Non-alert mission runs). The amount per pile still appears three, but you may get those drops more often, potentially increasing the overall amount you collect.
Side Note: Based on my personal testing, Smeeta Kavat seemed to make Moonflesh drop more frequently, while the amount per drop remained at three per pile. However, this was only based on my own runs, so more thorough testing is needed to confirm whether Smeeta Kavat actually affects Moonflesh drops or if I was simply experiencing miraculous good RNG.

Hi guys! I would love if someone could tell me what I can improve in my Voruna Prime. I do ok in mission level 100-115 but I tried SP Xini in Eris (150-150) and I was obliterated lol My life depleats too fast, my melee does nothing, and I rely purely on skills, but that's not sustainablefor too long.
Improvements I could do in the mods? Or shards?
I would also like an opinion on good weapons. I'm aware these are not very good, but I don't really know how to choose better ones:
- Meele: Broken War
- Primary: Nataruk
- Secondary: Nothing, I just use the slot for mastery
I've never been heavy on anything build related, I just upgrade stuff if I need it to get to a certain place or resources, so I would love some help, I'm completely willing to work for some new shards or prime weapons if you think it could help me. I do prefer to rely on melee than shooting, but I'm open to try new stuff. With Voruna my strategy is usually spam her 1 and 4 with some 2, with multiple buffs for invisibility, using melee just in case I need more damage faster, but now that's not working lol

I know this will sound strange, but... what if during Tennocon we didnt actually see the Tau quest but rather only the prologue? Maybe this is cops and all but it has to do with what we've experienced with what of the prologue we have access to.
With the exception of the vessel section we saw ot all during Tennocon, the near whole of the Lua scene, Drifter carrying lotus out of the refractory.
Could the last part of the prologue be like the part of Whispers in the Walls and Lotus Eaters, a glimpse at Tau through the eyes of Brysko, right before we actually enter the scene?
I dunno.
But I will say that when I saw the demo what it was did feel like more of a prologue.
