Who or what is the Vessel in Warframe?

I’ve seen this guy and heard of him, but now that the new teaser came out I’m curious. I wonder how he is going to be used in the game. And also why head to Eris? I’m excited for the upcoming updates and i wonder how the new gameplay will work.

Honestly, love the concept of the new miniquest and the event Spoiler

Yeah, simple appreciation post, the first half, even if we already knew it, with the actual context is great. Since in The Old Peace Wally's grasp on Lotus got way too deep, to the point of her voice echoing the Indifference's, the first thing to do is negotiating with him to leave her alone for the moment.

And now the the important part, i loved the second half of the prologue for two reasons:

- First: It pieces together how could Phragasa die, how can a Sentient characterized by self repair die? Easy, she didnt, Ballas and Erra had her supressed to use her body as a weapon and in the moment she was abandoned, with nobody influencing her, she slowly repaired her mind like she did her body.

- Second: It's just so obvious and natural, yet so original, Ballas wanted to use the Sun as a battery to open the portal to Tau, but clearly we cant do that, so what's the second biggest energy source? An infestation assimilated moon.

I dont know, simply loved the concepts and thought they were very natural and cool steps towards Tau, that's it.

Question about the first part of the new limited quest Spoiler

why did we grab the Lotus from that memory? She was right in the pool beforehand already no? Was it to limit Wally's current grasp on her? I'm just a bit confused

Has the operator been in 1999, or is this just a gameplay quirk?

During the end whispers in the walls quest you pilot one of the vessels there via transference, and is sent back in time to 1999 into Arthur.

The quest doesn't force drifter, since it is the operator who is the chosen operator (duh). This implies that the operator has been in 1999, although not physically.

Any ideas how praghasa has access to void portals/ what they are?

Due to taubound comming out tomorrow and maybe this'll be answered but also seemingly how we get to tau, does anyone have a idea what those void portals are/ how she has them?

We know all sentients inhabitant the flaw which when exposed to the void via void travel they lose their ability to reproduce and seemingly can also die if prolonged for long enough (the lotus and her putting the moon in the void). We also know she's the "mother" of Natah and the mothership, so she's probably the mother to ALL sentients most likely being one of if not the first. Does that mean maybe she was build without the flaw?

Also being a mothership does she contain a reliquary drive? How else did she travel in the old war and back to sol via the solar rail? Or is the portal a different kinda of void travel? Similar to how our landing craft travels via the solar rail?

I’m recently replaying all of the Main Quest story line right before the new ones about to drop and in The Old Peace, the Operator at the end of the quest we hear say “Rap Tap Tap, you’ll let me in little piggy’s”. What confuses me is that was this just an echo he heard from the man in the wall or was this The Man In The Wall speaking through him. Also another thing that gets me I don’t remember Rell saying that line but then again it’s been a while since I replayed the mission.

Question Why has Entrati gone to Tau, and why are we following him?

* I, for some reason, cannot flair this post - if I could I'd flair it as "Speculation" or "Question".

Going through all the quests again to try and fully grasp all the necessary lore and I think I've wrapped my head around it, only thing I don't fully understand is why anyone is going to Tau.

I assume that this hasn't actually been established yet and we're heading to Tau because that's where Entrati is and he knows best how to beat the Indifference. As to why he's there I assume it's because the Indifference can't get there, that or he's there for resources that the origin system lacks or intended to get aid from the sentients (?) - I just want to make sure that there isn't some additional lore that I've missed from somewhere else that explains any of this.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

New Hex lore

This new dialogue by Nuri in the Icebind kinda suggest the Hex have lived long enough (probably due to the technocyte or void stuff) to become mythologized figures in the current origin system.

Kind of what to see what becomes of the Hex when we eventually break the loop.

[Spoiler]How the story could play out (Void travel theory) Spoiler

Thumbnail
0 Upvotes

[spoiler-text]It would be cosmically a beautiful story arch if we willingly destroyed the fingers and as a consequence, gave up our powers, but the void tethered the powers to our operators to where we could still use warframes, space travel is changed forever but by a more sustainable invention from Albrecht.[spoiler-text]

Anyone piece together what’s happening with recent update?

I mean the whole ice blade of narin update including what’s happening in icebind with the weirdly named cephalon? So far I can’t even pay attention to the dialogue cause there’s so much going on.

Question about stalker during second dream Spoiler

Been playing for years, but this question always came back to me. Was stalker being controlled during the orbiter section at the end. I always took it as that, given the way the lights on his armor change from blue to red.

If that is the case, I have to wonder why he stuck with hunhow? I suppose he had no where else to go

Why bring the **spoilers** to Eris? Spoiler

I know we’re about a week away from finding out, but I’be been wondering why we’re using the Vessels for Operation Taubound. Albrecht supposedly made them as a last resort weapon against the Man in the Wall— so does he have some giant physical manifestation on Eris? Are they just helping us scoop up resources to feed Praghasa, and their true purpose will come later?

Questions about the other tenno Spoiler

I have a few so im going to break it down into parts.

So firstly, from my understanding we (the player) aren't the only active tenno in the system (this could be wrong, if so please correct me if not then) so where were they during the new war? Why did we seemingly storm against Ballas alone without any other tenno to help and then where were they after we got thrown into the void?

I get lotus was gone too but that doesn't mean the other tenno are incompetent and surely if we could take Ballas in a fight where we aren't distracted trying to save Lotus, surely a group of tenno could easily kill him. Now I understand if this happened there wouldn't be a mission but I find it odd there's no expansion (to my knowledge) as to why the other Tenno just gave up, didn't try or lost.

Following on from this, if we (the player) are the only active Tenno then why? To my understanding Lotus doesn't know there's anything special about us, that we are this "chosen" operator so why would we be the last one she woke? I know she woke others before us and she says at the very start "I won't lose another Tenno" yet we have never ever seen another one beside rell, but even then that's not because of Lotus and I'm not even sure she knew about rell that much if at all.

And then what happened to those tenno before us? They didn't die because Lua was still in the void and we were all safe at that point so it was their warframes she lost right? Why not just give them a new one? Why don't they have an arsenal like us filled with warframes?

I hope in the future we get to at least see some Tenno/Operator npcs or even a faction because even now it's kind of weird that after everything that's happened and the fact we are going to Tau we haven't seen another awoken tenno. I mean surely she'd wake a couple up and tell them "Guard the system while we are gone" or something. Right?

Sirius is a hypocrite

Well, first of all—good morning, good afternoon, and good evening, gentlemen.

Recently, after completing Jade Shadows: Constellations and mulling it over repeatedly, I’ve reached a conclusion: Sirius is a hypocrite. Let me explain. Sirius is presented to us as a kind, noble being who inherited the peaceful nature of his mother, Jade. However, I want to point out that while Sirius does want to eliminate Orion because he poses a danger, there is one small detail: we are talking about a *baby* Orion. The more I thought about it, the more I concluded that Sirius is a massive hypocrite for wanting to kill an innocent baby—who has done absolutely nothing wrong—in the name of a "greater good" that isn't actually good at all if it means taking the life of an innocent infant who, I repeat, hasn't done anything wrong yet. It’s even worse when you consider Ryoku, who is literally a trained assassin—and Sirius's own master, to boot. So, I have to ask: if Sirius is supposed to be a reflection of his mother, why on earth does he want to kill an innocent baby who hasn't done anything wrong? Quite simply, it makes absolutely no sense, no matter how you look at it.

Has Narmer been abandoned ?

I thought that we would use the solar rail that Narmer is probably building to reach Tau… but instead we will use Praghasa. So has Narmer completely been put aside ?

Are the grineer descendants of surface radiation war survivors?

Iuno why but the thought the grineer were originally radiation war survivors (from the surface) popped into my mind, the way their body deteriorate just reminds me of radiation burns/cancer

(fan canon) - the reason why the grineer often have prosthetics is because of limbs being lost to radiation and had to be replaced.

So... Are 1999 and XX99 aren't fully real? Or Entrati did something even wilder than "violated time"?

Today I remembered that by Heart of Deimos plot sole reason for Waframes, product of Helminth Strain, to work is by pumping Origin System with Void, otherwise they lose power.

Hovewer Protoframes and even proper Warframes have no problems in Hollvania or Cathedrale? Hell, Helminth connected between them and way to jump time.

How does that even work? It def wasn't retconed cuz in one of KIMs, to Marie iirc, Drifter mention about Entrati Family watching over only thing that let Warframes work.
