If man instinctively fears fire, what reaction can be expected from a high-speed jet of flame (whether liquid fuel or gas)? Unfortunately, flamethrowers are impractical—for various reasons—yet they remain impressive nonetheless.

1. Flamethrower Clone Troopers – Star Wars: The Clone Wars: In addition to their distinctive Geonosian-camouflage armor, flamethrower clone troopers make their debut against a Geonosian colony (with the expected results).

2. Flamers and melta weapons—Warhammer 40k: to hunt the alien, purge the unclean, and slay the heretic, flamers are a more than acceptable choice—available in all sizes, from hand-held flamers to heavy flamers that spew vast quantities of promethium. And for those requiring greater armor penetration, there are meltaguns—a sort of hybrid between a flamer and a plasma weapon capable of melting through the heaviest armor.

3. Greek fire—the real life: the ancestor of the flamethrower and one of the secret weapons of the Byzantine Empire—or rather, the Eastern Roman Empire. It was key to maintaining its naval supremacy in the Eastern Mediterranean, to the point where its production was a state secret.

1. Noi from Dorohedoro

2. Josuke Higashikata from Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable

3. Giorno Giovanna from JJBA: Vento Aureo

4. Medic from TF2 (dangerous with a bone saw)

(translation: starts out as a bad guy, becomes a good guy)

Baldur's Gate 3 - there are many ways to play the Dark Urge origin, but one of the most satisfying is to completely reject your villainous urges and earn Withers' respect

James Cameron's Avatar - after realizing that his CO never wanted a peaceful solution with the Na'vi, Jake Sully switches sides and rejects his humanity

Final Fantasy IV - Cecil deserts Baron and becomes a paladin by overcoming his dark side

Wing Commander IV - Blair follows some very questionable orders before defecting from the Confederation

Basically whenever the story sets up a love triangle/corner or similar in the story with the implicit expectation of having to choose between the partners but then the story pulls the rug under you asking "Why can't they all be happy?" and allowing all involved character to date each other

Rentarou x Hahari x Akane - The 100 Girlfriends who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really love you: Rentarou is a guy who falls in love easily to the point that, at the age of 16, he has confessed to 100 different girls and has recieved 100 rejections (With his first one being at 8 months of age), he's then confronted by the God of Love who confesses that, due to an accident while watching "Castle in the sky" by Studio Ghibli, he accidentally made Rentarou have 100 soulmates. He explains to Rentarou that having 1 soulmate is an incredibly lucky occurance, to the point that those people who are blessed to have one have exhausted all their luck in life and are prone to accidents that scale in severity until they meet an early end. Thankfully their luck resets if those soulmates find each other and live together. This still applies to Rentarou and he only technically needs to date 1 soulmate to avoid death, but it also means that the 99 other soulmates are fated to die without him. And he's instantly confronted by having Akane (The tsundere archetype) and Hahari (The "Lewd" Archetype) fall in love at the same time with him. He considers dating them in secret, but he genuinely loves the two of them and can't bring himself to do something that would hurt them in the future, so instead chooses to come clean about his feeling and being unable to choose, so instead he confesses his love to them and asks them to date him at the same time. They have some hang ups at first, but eventually decide to give it a test. At this point in the manga, the two girls have even develop feelings with each other, being one of the few girls to actually love someone as strongly as they love Rentarou

Later, after the fight everyone assumes, including Latla, that Rip is going to have his happy ever after with Leila while Latla will be sideline. Instead, Rip confesses to Fuuko that he loves them both equally, he has always done so. And that he couldn't care less what other people think, since it's their happiness and not the strangers, So in the day of Leila & Rip's wedding he proclaims that the three of them will get married to the surprise of the guests and Latla herself.

Necrons from 40k: very technologically advanced and nigh immortal, unfortunately they’re splintered by multiple dynasties that all have their own agenda. Also they’re old and have robot dementia

Orks from 40k (again): innumerable and lives for fighting, unfortunately since they love fighting that means they love to fight among themselves

Skavens from Warhammer Fantasy: if they want, they can burrow from underground and emerge up, caught everyone off guard Emergence Day style and taken over the world. Unfortunately their culture thrive in backstabbing and betrayal against one another

Tbh, most if not all warhammer faction could’ve won if infighting wasnt a concept lol

Heated Rivalry Episode 3 "Hunter": The show stops following Hollander and Rozanov's love story to follow another hockey player, Scott Hunter, and his romance with a smoothie store employee.

The Last of Us S1E3 "Long Long Time": Joel and Ellie need a car. So to explain why there's a car waiting around for them to use, they show us an incredibly heartbreaking love story lasting 20 years between two men Joel knows. They have a car.

Doctor Who S3E10 "Blink": With no explanation given, this episode begins with a character we've never met, one Sally Sparrow, poking around an abandoned building. Our lead character, The Doctor, is glimpsed seemingly randomly on TVs. What is going on? Did that statue just move!?

MythicQuest S1E5 "A Dark Quiet Death": Rather than continuing to follow our lead characters as they develop an MMORPG, we flash back many years to witness the history of a couple who start a videogame company, and how over the years the pressure to drive sales causes them to give up on their artistic integrity.

SpongeBob SquarePants-Pickles:If a customer is unsatisfied with their order (such as claiming a Krabby Patty is missing its pickles), they are entitled to a $2.00 full refund. Bubble Bass uses this guarantee by falsely claiming SpongeBob forgot the pickles on his complex order.

The Middle-Heck on a Hard Body:Sue Heck enters an endurance contest at Ehlert Motors where contestants must keep their hand on a car to win it, only to learn after winning that the prize was actually a trip to Disney World.

Danger - a previously obscure marvel villain who became popular thanks to being in Marvel Tokon.

Ice Climbers - From a single somewhat obscure NES game who became well known thanks to their appearances in Smash Bros, affectionately referred to as "Icies"

Rek Rap is a demon from hell who after being rescued by Spiderman began to look up to him. Idolizing hom to the point where he adopted a symbiote and began to try to make his own Spidey persona.

Batmite is a powerful reality warping otherworldly imp who often utilizes a sillier Batman appearance due to his obsession over him. He often makes crazy scenarios and adventures with his powers to watch Batman in action for his own fanboy excitement.

Lord X is a void like demonic entity that took the form of Sonic due to his enjoyment of the franchise and character. Lord X often makes corrupted versions of Sonic games to live that fantasy of being Sonic and often dragging an unfortunate human or two with him to toy with.

Since my last one was so serious, I’d figured my next post would be something both fun and festival, and I thought it would be fun to do one of the times where a characters alter ego clothing (essentially superhero or villain) or their own unique appearance gets confused for a costume and they get to blend in rather than just being feared or seen as something more than human

Essentially where an exceptional character uses their natural appearance or work outfit for Halloween or other occasions where costuming is expected, I will be mostly focusing on the halloween ones but you can focus on the other occasions if you want

Examples:

Supergirl

In one of the issues of her 2025 run, Kara is convinced to go trick or treating wearing her original Supergirl outfit and claiming to be an ordinary partygoer wearing a costume

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

In their 2003 series, an episode reveals that Halloween was the only day that Splinter would take the turtles to the surface and trick or treat all day

Spider-Man

In the PS4 game, there’s a mission where you go into a Halloween party to look for someone while in full costume and some people may remark on it being well made

Catwoman: Hunted

In order to infiltrate a costume party, Selina disguised herself with her Bronze Age costume

I don't mean adaptations where they no longer have their powers, I mean them literally losing their powers

Justice League Apokolips War - Darkseid injects Superman with kryptonite which makes him lose his powers, turning him basically into a normal guy. While I really dislike this movie, I think Superman is one of the redeeming aspects of it as it shows that Clark will still be a hero without his powers and leaving him alive was a mistake on Darkseid's part

Green Lantern Future State - The Green Lantern corps lose their power rings, I honestly wasn't a fan of this one as I felt it took away what made them interesting

Naruto - In the end of the series Kakashi loses his Sharingan

The Unworthy Thor - As the title suggests, during this run Thor was unworthy of the Mjolnir, which was taken by Jane Foster

Odin ( MCU ) In his first appareance he very conveniently falls into the Odinsleep, which allows Loki to rule Asgard at his place and all the events that we see in the first Thor movie happen. In TDW he arrived again very conveniently after the dark elves had already invaded Asgard and killed the queen. In the same movie he gets put under a potent enchantment by Loki that wiped out his memories and sent him to earth. And in Thor Ragnarok he dies of old age, which allows Hela to escape her imprisonment and eventually led to the destruction of Asgard.

Captain Marvel ( MCU ) In Avengers Infinity War when Thanos was planning to wipe out half the population of the Universe where was she? Exactly. And in Avengers Endgame she appears at the very end of the final battle, very convenient if you ask me?.

Haley (Stardew Valley) - A bachelorette you can meet. At first, she's cold, but as you increase the hearts, she becomes more nice.

Sunset (Equestria Girls) - She was a bully in the first movie, but becomes an ally in the second movie and onwards.

Hal Jordan (Green Lantern): Civilian life in shambles, overworked superhero life, spiralling mental health for years and unable to cope with the fact that he was'nt able to save his city because he was on another mission, Hal loses his mind, literally trying to bring back the dead, killing the entire corp and later literally erasing space and time to rewrite the universe

Zero (To Be Hero X): Being the first hero of the world and being worshipped for being so since he was 10, Zero achieved Godhood as a 15 year old but ultimately the pressure got to him and he went mad at 17 and nearly caused the end of humanity.

1. Agent Hitler (Danger 5)

2. New Jersey Resident (SNL)

3. Jackie Daytona (What We do in the Shadows)

Fred Jones and Daphne Blake in the 2000s scooby-doo movies: Freddy Prinze Jr and Sarah Michelle Gellar began dating in 2000, and got married in 2002. They remain married to this day.

Mickey and Minnie Mouse: Wayne Allwine and Russi Taylor met in 1988 while doing a recording session, and got married in 1991, and remained together until Wayne's death in 2009.

Darker hypersexual society. Free love world that dont feel free. From media that point ISN'T fetish

1) Brave new world -world state. World build on pleasure. People have orgies in almost religious way. If you have sex with only one person for long time you'll be seen as not normal. Even being introvert is strange here. All movies are erotic. And children must have "erotic plays".

2) Malice@doll -place ,where story happens. Our characters are sex bots (MC is " Giving kiss") . After something happens there is now no humans around, yet sex bot still keep their old empty routine. It even in their design. Then creature attack MC.. And things get even more wierd.

Cars - The main villain of the movie is Chick Hicks, who is an embodiment of dirty motorsports drivers who do anything to win including crashing into others on purpose which is obviously incredibly dangerous. The irony is that it has a cameo by F1 driver Michael Schumacher, who is exactly the same kind of dirty driver that Chick is, having also crashed into his competitors more than once

Marty Supreme - Milton Rockwell is an asshole, ruthless businessman who is played by Kevin O'Leary, who fits that description to a T. The irony is that O'Leary is even more of an asshole than Rockwell, who was just an arrogant dick but didn't do anything that was actually evil, whereas O'Leary has supported Trump's plan for the annexation of Canada(despite being Canadian) and he and his wife were responsible for killing someone

Carla (Fairy Tail) can turn into a human

Yoruichi (Bleach) Can turn into a cat

Professor Minerva (Harry Potter) can turn into a cat

i’m using the term “human” very loosely. As long as they look like a human, it counts. Yes i know Yoruichi is a Shinigami and Minerva is a witch

Kazuya Mishima (Tekken) While he is a supernatural terrorist, he has a hobby of collecting sneakers

Lord Dominator (Wander of Yonder) Evil tyrant who destroys planets, but she also likes watching cartoons in her free time. She can be seen watching a Scooby-doo, Gravity Falls hybrid knockoff cartoon

Akuma (Street Fighter) He’s really only a villain to super strong people like Ryu, he doesn’t fight anyone he considers weak. But he runs a fruit stand in his free time and he even made friends with Elena

• Ferris Bueller (1984)
• Die Hard (1988) Having to a termonaal is how Jihn knows hs way out of his element here.
• Sailor Moon

Yes, Millenial and Gen Z users, there was a time when people didn't know how computers work since PCs had just debuted on the market, and works wre full of people eing confused or annoyed at then.

"Plot Hole": Why didn't Thanos just make the universe bigger to end overpopulation!

Explanation: Thanos wants to kill half the population to end overpopulation right? If he created more resources, the universe would just become overpopulated all over again. He explains this in his villain monolog. There are parts of his plan that make no sense (he's called the Mad Titan for a reason), but this one is actually explained. His plan was also to punish people for their greed, and making more food would not be much of a punishment. He also has a savior complex which makes him double down on his plan to prove he's right

"Plot Hole": Why wasn't the Death Star's exhaust port fortified!

Explanation: It fucking WAS. They had laser cannons surrounding the port because the Empire knew it was a weak point. The imperial general saw the rebels and chose to do nothing about it. He says "I think you overestimate their chances". Luke needed help from Han Solo, the disembodied voice of Ben and the Force in order to get the torpedoes into that tiny hole. Han even says that the shot was "one in a million".

Slides in order: Sam Burrell (HBO's The Last of Us), Nick Andros (The Stand), Sue Thomas (Real Life)

To count, a deaf character must die. They still count if they are only partially deaf. Additionally, deaf creatures count as well.

In a world where us trans girls are made out to be disgusting predators and often represented by the caricature “man in a dress stereotype” in media or played for shock value or gross out value, it’s really nice when we get media where the trans girl is just a normal girl and is actually cute and friendly and someone you would actually feel safe around.
