They warned us and we still weren't ready for Ben Swolo.

This is the funniest part about that sketch. When we finally saw him shirtless, guy was a fucking tank. Even Ren was like, nah dude, put a shirt on.

This is probably the most quoted piece of media in my household. The kids didn’t really like the sequels but they LOVE this sketch. Every line delivery he has is an absolute classic. Also, my name is Matt so “I haven’t had my muffin yet, Matt!” works extra well.

My wife and I love to say “after the rain comes the rainbow”….even when it doesn’t apply

5

u/Hustler-Two 15h ago

It’s crazy how a short skit from a largely unfunny show has so many lines to draw from. “Exactly, EXACTLY!” is my favorite. My wife likes the muffin one. We all say the “I have seen what’s in your mind and It. Is. STUPID!” The one about how poorly made the lightsaber is comes up often too.

My wife and I use "Kylo Ren" as a substitute for "punk bitch" when we are with our kids.

31

u/GDGameplayer 16h ago

I knew he was Kylo Ren when he threw me through the soda machine

25

u/Hustler-Two 15h ago

I knew from “Hi, my name is Matt”

10

u/sircastor 14h ago

I used to have a coworker named Matt and would send the “Matt straight up sucks” GIF in chats. FWIW, my coworker was pretty awesome.

TIL: he was carrying two skateboards

65

u/Bodkin-Van-Horn 11h ago

There's an interview where someone asks if he is bothered by mainly being known for a scene where he's pretending to be a teenager and carrying a skateboard, and his response is "I was carrying two skateboards."

19

u/GristleMcThornbody1 10h ago

I definitely wouldn't say that Steve Buscemi is mainly known for a meme. Was the person who asked that 12 years old?

12

u/Bodkin-Van-Horn 9h ago

Probably. I don't even know what you'd really say he was most known for. Fargo? Reservoir Dogs? Helping firefighters in NY on 9/11? Just being a generally awesome dude?

9

u/ThisIsMySFWAccount99 8h ago

Spy kids 2 is the answer for younger folks. "Do you think God stays in heaven because he too is afraid of what he's created?"

3

u/Bodkin-Van-Horn 8h ago

I forgot about that one. Haven't seen the movie, but have seen the memes

2

u/W3bb3dWond3r 8h ago

What about Monsters Inc?

2

u/ThisIsMySFWAccount99 7h ago

Sure but Buscemi has a much more recognizable face than voice

2

u/W3bb3dWond3r 6h ago

Many would disagree about that

He's the king of lunchball.

“Thankfully the fact I am blind means I both have plausible deniability for what this shirt says and I can’t see everyone staring at me!”

actually senses every awkward stare

Vincent Adultman (BoJack Horseman)

55

u/GonnaGoFar 16h ago

All I see is a respectable, middle-aged man, who works at the grown up business.

35

u/Fxg120xYXDE5 16h ago

That would be the 'business factory', thank you very much.
He was doing a business there.

14

u/DimensioT 16h ago

He just looks like a typical business manager at a typical business factory.

78

u/Rowsdower888 15h ago

This hip young dude getting a book signed by a Jigsaw survivor.

8

u/Ntahedron 13h ago

How did they get Tobin Bell to look so young? Technology is insane nowadays…

3

u/OnionTamer 9h ago

When will young people learn how to groom their turkey neck?

70

u/WerdNerd88 16h ago

You wear a disguise to look like human guys but you're not a man, you're a chicken Boo.

29

u/Faceofferrus 16h ago

Why did you post a picture of a normal guy sitting at a bus stop?

16

u/stevvvvewith4vs 16h ago

That's not a normal man. That's the ping pong prodigy Forrest Gump.

10

u/XxmilkytoastxX 16h ago

Don't you mean BubbaGump shrimp founder Forrest Gump?

6

u/VulpesFennekin 9h ago

Surely you mean famous cross-country runner Forrest Gump?

5

u/RP3P0 13h ago

What's the matter with you?

2

u/amaranthinenightmare 1h ago

Oh my gosh. I forgot about this and it unlocked a half memory. What was this from?? Was this animaniacs?

46

u/TheJudgingHat2222 16h ago

Hugh Man. Now that's a name I can trust!

25

Hew Maan, the Human Rogue

45

u/GDGameplayer 16h ago

Normal human guy Octodad

20

u/Efficient-Freedom517 15h ago

I don’t even know why you posted a picture of this normal human father. He is as unremarkable as they come

81

u/essiedimple16 17h ago

jackie daytona definitely the weakest pick here, he just runs the bar and chills bet

28

u/grichardson526 16h ago

He's a regular human bartender.

23

u/nguyening90 16h ago

From Tucson Arizoña

4

u/OnionTamer 9h ago

His accent is a dead giveaway that he's from Tucson, Arizoña. that's just how they talk there.

21

u/MDnautilus 16h ago

And supports the high school girls volleyball team

4

u/S3simulation 16h ago

I’ve come to love those Bucks

3

u/UncaringNonchalance 9h ago

Real talk though, Laszlo is absolutely the most sentimental of the group. The raising of tiny Colin and the pain on his face when Colin doesn’t remember it when he gets older. That shit tore me up.

29

u/PeasantLich 17h ago

Vlad from Magicka is NOT a vampire. He is in fact so much not a vampire that he often tells people he isn't a vampire unprompted, just like all regular non-vampires do.

5

u/AcceptableReview3846 16h ago

Idk why but this has me laughing so hard, why is it so out of pocket

24

u/loptthetreacherous 15h ago

Dr. Mantis Toboggan

Fallout: The Frontier

A Caesar’s Legion spy has infiltrated the NCR Exiles? Who could it be?!

Could it be Tiberius Rancor? The rude guy who openly disdains the Exiles leader, refuses to answer any questions about his past, and has a gratuitously Latin name that means “malice” when the Legion are known for all having gratuitously Latin names?

Nah, that’s nonsense. There’s no way it could be him.

5

u/WolvesAreCool2461 14h ago

You're obviously lying man, couldn't possibly be him.

13

u/the_gr8_one 11h ago

Jefferson is a perfectly normal human chef and he is feeling fine, thank you

7

u/DWglazer 16h ago

Don't think 2 has the makings of a varsity athlete.

2

u/S3simulation 16h ago

That was very hurtful to his self esteem

5

u/SumVitaminC 10h ago

“My name is, um... Girly Teengirl”

5

u/jerux211 4h ago

3

u/lostbelmont 16h ago

I never saw #2

Was he playing undercover Tony in that sketch?

3

u/Emptyspace227 14h ago

What's suspicious about a regular human bartender?

u/kevster2717 13h ago

https://giphy.com/gifs/xUPGcBfsh26NPuePwA
Just your average middle-class father going on about his day (Octodad)

3

u/82ndGameHead 12h ago

Why would you game a funny feeling about Jackie Daytona, a regular human bartender from Tucson, Arizonia?

1

u/R3DEMPTEDlegacy 10h ago

The Iron Dream by Norman Spinrad

Presents an alternate reality where Adolf Hitler became a sci-fi author instead of a dictator after moving to America and wrote his Hugo Award winning novel The Swastika Man.
