I'm finally making progress on kicking my nail biting. My nails have never been this long so I have no idea what shape or length would look best!

At first I was super happy with these Japanese gel extensions, but the closer I look the more I’m nitpicking. Am I just being too picky or are they a bit weird from the side? And do they look a bit big/wide?

This is my third attempt at acrylic French and ombré. I feel like my ombré is getting worse and my French is getting better. Excuse the random shapes, I’m in nail school and my tutor suggested I play around with doing different shapes that I haven’t tried yet.

i paid $100 for this set of nails that look nothing like what i asked for. i corrected her about 4 times, it took 2 hours, but in the end she just put the finishing polish on and called it a night. i’m not satisfied at all. i never get my nails done, so i have no idea how to go about this, but is there a certain way i should go about this ?

Is she failing at nail prep?

I got an acrylic overlay thinking it’d reinforce my nails and after getting them removed i noticed I managed to crack my index fingernail right in the middle & do not want to cut it 😩😭 is there any way to repair it so i can slowly file down over time? All of my nails look rough now but the rest at least still feel strong . I’ll take suggestions on rehabbing them as well 😩 (going back to regular polish after this)

Haven’t done nails in about 7 months but I’m trying to get back into it since I want to be able to take clients in the near future. Been liking poly gel so far and thinking of adding hard gel to the rotation. These Halloween nails were a fun challenge that got my nail art juices flowing again!

I’ve finally found some claw-shaped nail tips. I really like the shape, and they don’t get in the way during daily life—but I have no idea how to decorate them in a fun, wild way. The examples I see online are all quite simple, and because of the thickness of the tips, 3D nail art doesn’t really work well either.
