I just want a vanilla experience with some quest guider. but none of these work or make a difference in game. as if i'm just starting the game without mods. what am I doing wrong? i'm hitting the play button from vortex.

Just curious. And if you take him as an apprentice, what do you do with him when he outlives his usefulness because he can only level up to 10?

I'm thinking I might leave him in Trinibane Manor to act as the "hetman" of Massama.

Is it possible to have the basegame Morrowind in german and TR in english?

Hi everyone. I feel like I might have encountered some kind of bug and totally broke my attributes somehow. For context, I'm playing OpenMW 0.51, with the Morrowind Start Pack modlist. Below is a picture of my current stats when I have no equipment on:

For those who can't see the image, my current 'effective' stats are as follows:

Strength - 108,
Intelligence - 91,
Willpower - 68,
Agility - 100,
Speed - 69,
Endurance - 108,
Personality - 99,
luck -40

Which again, for those who can't see the image, is as follows:

Strength - 99
Intelligence - 91
Willpower - 68
Agility - 100
Speed - 69
Endurance - 100
Personality - 99
Luck - 40

The only major discrepancies are between Endurance and Strength. Now- before y'all start spamming comments like 'Its probably a static buff', here are all the *all* of the listed buffs that I have right now:

Resist Common Disease: 100%

Resist Poison: 75%

Fortify Attribute (Personality, Lady's Favor): 25pts

Fortify Attribute (Endurance, Lady's Grace): 25pts

Blight Immunity: 100%

Corpus Immunity: 100%

These are the *only* buffs listed in my menu.

So putting all of that together, we have weird inconsistencies like this:
1. My base strength is 99, and despite not having any listed buffs for my strength or any strength-buffing gear, my strength is somehow 107. So somehow I have +8 strength from nowhere.

1. My base endurance is 100, which from my understanding, given my Lady's Grace buff, should bring my effective endurance up to 125. But its 108. So I have -17 endurance from nowhere.

2. My base personality is 99, which given Lady's Favor, should bring it up to 124. But its... 99. Meaning I have -25 personality out of nowhere.

Before you ask, I tried casting restore attribute on quite a few of my attributes. Including strength and endurance, which are the two that are both somehow above and below what they should be (Strength and Endurance). I even went to an imperial cult alter and got the restore attributes blessing. Nothing changed.

Would any of you happen to know what's going on? I'm really lost. Is this some kind of crazy bug?

1. There's a small Elderscrolls YouTuber who fought for months to get Morrowind back to running. I wanted to ask whether someone has an idea on what Borean Knight could try. Below this, I try to assemble what he tried out so far. He's in bad health and I'd like to help him, since Morrowind is one of his very favorite games. This is by no means meant to be an advertisement or so for him, I simply think its heartwrenching to see him try out so much in months with no results. Thank you for your help, guys.

2. • Neither the Steam, GOG or OpenMW versions work

- it used to work until a windows 11 update

- it either freezes some seconds in-game or crashes once he starts the game

- the steam version gave him this error: steam error application load error 5:0000065434

- a hardware guy looked through his specs and found nothing

- changing and updating different drivers such as the DXVK drivers didn't work

- he did a system analysis in windows 11 and no parts seem to be broken

- he believes his pc "locks the game" due to a protection initialized by the system. He put a lot of research into it, but I don't know for certain whether that's the problem.
