Rant This is the majority of female profiles I see on dating apps I swear. At least say what kind of food you enjoy, my god
Is it that difficult to be a little creative?

They then say how important honesty is in a relationship.
Why do people do this.

She doesn't even provide a lot of information in the rest of her profile give people a better idea of who they're trying to get to know.

This I haven’t accepted to meet her yet.
Feel bad for the husband..
Are these people disturbed?
r/Bumble • u/Pemphredo_o • 15h ago
This happens quite often, and I just can't understand the rationale behind it. It's especially confusing when the person the profile belongs to is in the background of the picture, so you naturally assume at first that someone else is the profile's owner. But scrolling through the profile soon makes it obvious that's not the case. I'm personally quite put off by that because it feels like they're trying to trick me. Plus, the direct comparison makes it feel like they're basically sabotaging themselves.
Just curious, though, could just be my impression, and attractiveness is obviously subjective!

I don’t know where to post this but omg it’s so frustrating being a 25 year old virgin in this day and age. I’m usually pretty straight forward with the guys I talk to that I am looking for a partner and marriage, AND that I’m a virgin. I just would rather wait till I’m in a relationship to have sex and that I’m 100% comfortable with the person. Now most of the guys I’ve talked to claim that they don’t care or I will ask a billion questions why haven’t I had sex, or say I’m too pretty to be a virgin (whatever that means).Anyways it’s just frustrating when we haven’t even gone on a date and you are concerned if we can have sex or not. LIKE SIR YOU ARE STILL BASICALLY A STRANGER TO ME. So what should I do? Maybe the dating apps aren’t meant for me, I have yet to actually meet a guy that hasn’t straight up love bomb into attempt fornication.

I know I've seen this bio before and not from this guy. It wasn't even funny the first time and borders on cringe. And I just know he sat back with a smug look on his face after pressing upload.

Too many times I'll match with a girl, we'll click in conversation and then boom, she reveals to me that she has a baby.
There was even a woman who waited until after already exchanged numbers, been talking and FaceTimeing to reveal that information.
Like why hide that? I'm not against single mothers, I've even dated one before, but she upfront about that.
I just wish there were more up-front about that on their profile.

I matched with this nice lady a few years back. I regretfully did not save the rest of our delightful conversation, but I appreciated the responses that were more than two words.

Too much, too soon. It gives clingy, lovebombing vibes. And, yes, I know it's a quote from a song, but some of y'all need to scale it back. No one wants to hear that on a date.

Gents.. have you ever started planning a casual coffee date and had the woman try to change it to a dinner date at an expensive restaurant?
While this is rare, it has happened to me a few times. I always refused and quickly got ghosted or unmatched lol.
Thank God I've been with women who were just naturally into me before and thought I was hot. And those women didn't care if we just walked around in a park or "hung out". Time together was what mattered.
Just putting it out there. Never let someone raise the price on you. They are doing that because they don't actually like you 💯
EDIT: If you need the "situation" to make the date fun.. you are with the wrong person. There's just no getting around it people 😄

At any particular time, around half the women in my beeline are living in Africa and using travel mode (I live in London). Most of them are also half my age. It's pretty annoying that Bumble doesn't give me any way to exclude travel mode in my preferences.
I'm curious if anyone has ever actually tried to match and talk to these people. Are any of them remotely genuine, or are they all basically scammers? What's their actual plan?
I assume they must get some matches, otherwise there wouldn't be so many of them trying.

Why do you guys say that it’s more complicated for you to date than us girls? I’ve gone out with 7 guys in total and 5 of them friendzoned me or ended things with me, it’s hard for us too, let alone talking stages, I’ve been unmatched and ghosted plenty of times, it’s not just a “guys” thing. What am I doing for these guys not to choose me? I feel like I’m a pretty okay being with any guy as long as they’re respectful and are willing to take things slow, I’ve been really attracted to all these guys, but they seem just not to like me 🤷🏻♀️ I’m getting kinda tired of playing games, any advice? 😩

So I’m talking to a guy who I was extremely attracted to. But in the past I got played dirty where a guy made me invest on himself and I caught feelings for him, just to tell me after our second date that he wasn’t over his ex, worth to mention that he asked me out for a third date immediately after our second date, but the next day he said that ex thing. That kinda made me have trust issues, and I’m like extremely careful when I go out with guys now and I always ask them if they’re over their ex. So this guy told me basically that he was in a 2 and a half long term relationship and that the relationship started deteriorating 1 year ago, he tried to fix things, but she didn’t want to, and they went their separate ways just 1 month ago! That he still cares about her but he’s not willing to sit around and try to fix something that is already broken and has no repair. After he told me that it gave me the biggest turn off, because of the previous guy, what if he still has feelings for her? What if he still talks to her? All the what ifs. I told him that I’m okay to keep getting to know each other as long as he’s sure he’s over her, bc I was hurt in the past, he’s basically ignoring me, bc I saw that he saw my story just recently and I sent that message hours ago. And he hasn’t asked me out yet and we’ve been talking for a week. All my insecurities are back and my trust issues, what’s your advice on this situation?

I believe they have banned my account I have been on it for 90 days and have not gotten a match with not a single girl. Is this really gonna be my life?
r/Bumble • u/King_Of_New_York__ • 1d ago
So I matched with this woman on the dating app.
The conversation was going well, until she told me she works in Human Resources.
I made a dumb joke saying, and I quote, "Oh you work for HR? I better watch what I say, because I know this being documented 😂 "
She immediately unmatched me with no explanation. Did that joke cross the line?

I am unsure if I am wording this correctly. Please bear with me.
Do you ever feel like you put up with conversations either where the person never asks questions back, or they give short/dry replies, or there is no real banter or rapport being built, or they even make comments that are explicit, not because you enjoy these conversations or even because you like the person, but because you think "beggars can't be choosers" and you feel like you have to try to make every match you get work because you get so few to begin with? Holy run-on sentence, batman!
I feel like I end up doing this. I am on the autism spectrum, too, so I cannot always read between the lines. I have had situations where I am bored with the conversation and I am the only one asking questions, and I just put up with it because I want to go on a date and there is nobody else in my queue waiting to talk. But recently, I have just stopped replying when it appears the conversation is not going anywhere. It took me a long time to get to that point, though. Does anyone else have this issue?
Just to add: I am actually a fairly confident person, but I feel like my autism and my lack of matches hinders me.

I've gotten zero matches. I know it's hard for men my age (21) but I feel I'm missing something.
I'm straight and looking for a long term partner.
