Big ol low cal dinner with great macros! And it’s delicious.
Collard greens and egg whites are BESTIES. so, so delicious.
I can’t eat over 2.5-3 cups volume or my stomach absolutely dies so this is just on the maximum of volume for me! Should do its job of keeping me full for a while

massive cheat day

january 5th will be a year of me starting my deficit and eating 1200-1300 cals a day. i have not strayed from it once and have lost 70lbs in these 10 months from 240 down to 170 now 😭 ive decided on my one year anniversary i am going to go to a restaurant of my choice with some friends and absolutely eat whatever the hell i want. i want a burger so gross and nasty that someone walking by would be alarmed that im eating it 😭 i want cheese, grilled onions, bacon, lettuce, tomato, an egg, hell, throw another burger on it idc !! 😂 i want that mf LOADED 😭 it’s all ive been craving. and i want some frickin cheese fries too omg 😭 i already feel guilty over it but idc i just want one day to pig out and then back to normal. does anyone have dedicated cheat days where they don’t count cals at all ?? i’m super nervous idk why but im 100% doing it lol. i’m not worried abt falling back out of the deficit bc i know myself and i am extremely disciplined but im still nervous to commit to it haha. maybe ill have two days like this in a year cuz my birthday is in july so one in the beginning and middle of the year 😂 idk but its all im looking forward to now !!

Need Snack Ideas

I need something similar to Drizzlicious mini rice cakes. Same vibe, similar macros/calories for amount. They recently changed the formula to include avocado oil, and my daughter and I are allergic to avocados. She loves to take these to work after the gym, crumble on yogurt or have as dessert, and quaker rice cakes just don't scratch the itch the same. Thank you!!

Looking for something that doesn't need to be frozen or chilled, Low calorie, and prefer something crunchy and tastes like a treat, not like carrots and celery

Since being in deficit for a few weeks I feel like my body has naturally gotten used to it. That seems obvious I know, but I get kind of sick sometimes when I eat a decent sized meal. Anyone else feel this way or am I crazy? Bonus piks of what I had for late lunch! I had 120cal chips and salsa at noon and just realized i needed more food, made this plate, but Im now feeling a bit ill and i havent even finished!

Ghost is + 10 cal ofc

Noodle is 10 cal, sauce is 40 cal per 1/2 cup

Texture is like aloe Vera jelly. It’s convincing enough to be noodles for me. Not too bad.
Not super awesome. Good low cal filler meal.

Any time I eat safecatch tuna my protein is through the roof. Really bad carb & fat day though. I typically don’t eat this much processed protein slop foods but I went to Walmart and was eager to try the Legendary pasta, quest chips and seasonal built puff bar. Lmk if you want a review on any of them.

Not pictured but I stole two of my bf’s Tyson chicken nuggets to chop up for my Mac and cheese.

treats Berries and milk, 50 calories

Post image
11 Upvotes

This bowl is only 50 calories.
This isn’t a new concept, but I forgot how much I like it. It really satisfies my sweet tooth when I want something cold and sweet.

Ingredients:
1/2 serving of blueberries
1/2 serving of unsweetened almond milk
Sugar substitute of your choice, to taste

It’s basically no calories and makes me feel like I’m eating something indulgent. You could make it more of a meal by adding extra berries and some protein powder, or blend it into a smoothie. The purple cereal milk at the end is the best part.

I know some of you are going to say, “My sensitive teeth could never.” I have sensitive teeth, too. I just let mine thaw for about 10 minutes before eating it, and that helps.

My mom‘s crossing the border today and going shopping to Trader Joe’s and Walmart. Is there any foods or snacks that you guys recommend?

I keep hearing about the soup dumplings so I’m gonna stock up on those

Advice for filling "non-chewable" calories.

I'm having some dental work done and won't be able to chew for about 7 days.

Any ideas on filling meals that I won't need to chew, or are soft?

question Starting to gain all the weight back now

Okay so over this summer I lost 10 kg in the span of 3 months. I know it’s not the most impressive but I was already at a ‘healthy’ weight when I decided to cut my calories because of the way and places my body stored fat (mainly in my stomach, upper arms and face) which caused insecurity my whole life. So even though my BMI was average, I stored fat in the wrong places.

I’ve been trying to lose that fat since I was 12 years old actually but I’ve just never been that mentally strong enough to sustain a calorie deficit for a long period of time.

That all changed until the start of this summer when I got my heart broke for the first time. Lol. I remember the first week I genuinely had no appetite. And then after that I started omad and doing cardio like crazy which enabled me to be in a 1000 calorie deficit daily for a month straight, and then remaining two months I was probably at daily 500 calorie deficit.

Now in the fourth month since I started to lose weight and I’ve started college again, and started a part time job where I’m on my feet the whole duration all which means I’m walking a lot more which means I get hungrier a lot more (entirety of summer I was inside my house as I have a treadmill at home so I didn’t even have to go gym).

Now usually I would be able to ignore this hunger because of how sad I was, but I’ve lowkey gotten over the guy now and I’ve noticed that the more I get over him the less willpower I have to sustain a calorie deficit by being okay with being hungry.

On top of that my studies and applications are giving me so much stress and I physically cannot study or apply for things when I’m hungry so I just go over my calorie deficit every day now. I’ve eaten like shit for the past two weeks and I’ve gained 3kg already. What do I do guys I’ve lowkey lost the will to eat clean and work out?

other Best food/ cal tracking app + tips?

Hi everyone

I used to use BitePal about a year and a half ago and it really helped me with tracking my calories and staying on top of what I’m actually putting in my body. I do think the AI would get things wrong a lot of the time so just curious if anyone has better alternatives or some suggestions!

Also, I’d be really grateful of any extra tips - i was at my goal weight a year ago by intermittent fasting and felt clear mentally and amazing. i gained about 15 pounds and since the beginning of this year it’s been an everyday battle with not overeating, i feel lethargic a lot of the time and very low energy. I do think a big issue is WFM getting bored and having a kitchen a few steps away from me at all times. Also, a new coffee addiction which rlly means cream and sugar 🥴 this has been a lot better recently but if anyone has tips to avoid that or low cal alternatives im all ears !

Anyway I’d appreciate any help and am hopeful on this journey :)
