A bit sillier than last years jacket but I kinda love it

My super cool girlfriend got me a bunch of hockey card packs and a book to keep them in! I know most of them are Tim Hortons cards (pretty sure that means they're not as collectable?) I still think they're cool though. Thought you lovely folks would appreciate my Flames page(s)!

Me and my friend sent in a few pictures when we were younger and they sent it back signed but I’m not sure if it is real just found it and hung it up again and started wondering. We never questioned it since we were like 8

Was going to do a write up, but this encapsulates it all.

Flames beat the Ducks 4-2 to earn their first win of the 26-27 season

Suniev continues to impress, Klapka comes up big scoring another one, Wolf had a pretty strong final 40.. 79-5 is still on the menu and it's crazy that building used to be a guaranteed loss

Condensed Game Here

Next Game: October 15 @ Vegas @ 8:00 PM MDT

To add to the Flames getting their first win of the season, looks like Conroy found an absolute gem.

Hidyho neighborenos, and a happy early birthday to u/duchessofconcord, many of the birthday happies!

Drink when they play hockey.

It's gonna be a long season

Yep. Dropping the top rated drinking rule right away because it felt fitting. Also, puck drop at 7:45 is throwing my pea brain for a loop. I usually start throwing this together half an hour before puck drop.

You know. When the clock reads **:00 or **:30.. not **:18, what even is time. What even is goal scoring? We dont need goal scoring where we are going (top3 pick, top3 pick, top3 pick).

It's a beautiful fall night out there, I'm playing food guard dog duty so the girlfriends dog doesnt eat the food thats waiting for the oven and im set for fire hockey?

Are you?

So pull up a Starbucks banana bread latte ^{they are fucking delicious}, pour yourself a Starbucks booth ^{if you're not SEEN writing, are you actually writing} and realize that I just got those mixed up!

The ^{pea brain do pea brain things. I blame spooky season} flames drinking game

Yall ready for another fire hockey game?

At the weird ass time of 7:45 pm? Because that makes sense.

Will we get two goals?

Will we get a point?

Will we continue to chase the Ottawa redblacks in the basement standings?

Tune in at ^again the wierd ass time of 7:45 pm on a Tuesday. I guess it makes about as much sense as a team of Ducks playing hockey.

Drop them spooky drinking game rules and those furry, fuzzy or scaley pet pics for the petspokemodel of the game and join us.

The Calgary Flames are 0-5 for the first time in franchise history, and Dan and Matt discuss why this historically bad start might be exactly what the team needs. The guys look at Calgary’s recent games against the Colorado Avalanche and Anaheim Ducks, the signs of progress despite two more losses, and why this season needs to be about developing young players rather than chasing wins.

Matvei Gridin, Ilya Suniev and Jonathan Castagna have all had opportunities to show what they can do at the NHL level. Dan and Matt discuss the latest call-ups, how Ryan Huska should be evaluated during the rebuild, and why giving young players room to make mistakes is essential to their development.

They also revisit Connor Zary’s demotion to the Wranglers and debate whether a trade could give him a fresh start. Could Devin Cooley become a trade target for the injury-hit New York Rangers? And what would Calgary need in return?

Plus, the Flames face another challenging week with games against Anaheim, Vegas and Carolina. Dan and Matt make their predictions and consider just how difficult this season could become.

Back in the day when I was an editor for Hockey's Future for the Flames. Game notes from 04 finals. Iggy with the Gordie Howe Hatrick!

This was in response to a doomer comment on Dan’s post about Suniev’s first goal (represented by Gold Star Group).

Refreshing to see this take mainstreamed (and by such a high profile/extremely pragmatic agent) like Milstein.

For those that aren’t enamoured by how we’ve been playing younger players always remember to look around the league at how other teams approach it. I think it’s safe to say we are definitely one of the more development-leaning ones out there, even among other rebuilders.

How is "Shaikhlismalov" going to fit on a sweater?!
