I’m a believer in that this same shiftiness and odd timing will translate once Zayne gets more comfortable with how fast & physical his opponents are.

I think that showed in the preseason too, he was moving out there.

The goals and points will come, what excites me is he isn't afraid to try those high skill plays at this level. If you don't push yourself, in any sport , you won't grow and get to the next level. Kid is gonna be a star.

I believe he'll develop a lot this year. I'm sure he'll make lots of mistakes but the future is bright

I'm a fan. I really hope management/coaching don't dampen his style.

They’ve given him every possibility to succeed and will continue to do so. The rest is up to him

Parekh plays such a romantic brand of hockey!

Z19 has had a slow start each season he’s played. He will finish strong

He’s gonna make a lot of mistakes but I’m here for the learning. Once he gets the timing figured out it’s gonna be mint

Didn't see any flashes of brilliance like this at the Ducks game on Saturday. Has he done much like this at the NHL level yet? I didn't notice him much as a player on Saturday

There’s a big difference between Junior level hockey and Pro. Zayne took what he learned at the pro level and proceeded to run a one man wrecking crew last winter at the World Juniors.

That's great to hear. Do we think this is the year he can bring that to the big leagues?

All depends how the rebuild goes. Is he a Cale Makar or Matthew Schaefer d man? No but I think he could do well with the right setup and the right team built up.

Can I have him in WJ again one more time? Watching him dominate single handedly last year was crazy.

he has a few moments every game, usually dancing on the blue line or playing keepaway and making other skaters look silly, the goals haven't showed up consistently yet but the way he is playing it is only a matter of time

Appreciate the honest response here since I don't get to see too many games these days. I hope this is the year he can bring it to the big leagues, we need some hope for the franchise.

He likes to hold onto the puck for sure, got great pace. Just been caught on the wrong side of the puck several times, sometimes doing too much. Defensive game needs improvement in the NHL. Currently team worst -10 (+/-).
