From the datadrivenhockey IG feed. He's ranking players by Goals Above Replacement to project trophy candidates. I was surprised to see the Pettersons present but it makes sense given their strong play of late.

Game is on at 4PM PST which from now is in 3.5 hours and there's no pre-game thread or game day thread.

So I made one.

Sort by new.

Elliotte Friedman said that the Capitals are possibly looking to move Miroshnichenko as he has no opportunity there are more than likely won’t make it through waivers.

22 years old, 6’1” and I don’t think it’s a disappointment that he can’t make Washington’s forward group. We can probably guess that RJ was hoping he’d hit the waiver wire but it looks like we’re gonna have to give up an asset if we are in on him. Any thoughts?

My son seems to think it's an official team issue jacket hence the player Id tag. So I guess the question is anyone know if this was available retail or not?

Last year i was at a Canucks v habs game and i could have sworn i saw a fox plushy wearing a Canucks jersey, but I cannot seem to find a photo of what I thought I saw ANYWHERE.
After some digging, I found some leads that there was a line of animal plushies wearing hockey jerseys which happened to include a fox wearing a Canucks jersey, but I can’t seem to find a photo of this plushy at all! If anyone has one and can snap a photo or is a better online detective than me, please help me out!

To focus on anything outside of Schaefer’s continued ascendance is to miss what really happened on Long Island. It’s also to miss what really matters for Vancouver at this point in their rebuilding cycle.

This is the NHL, after all. You can be as hard-scrabble, detailed and systematically proficient as you like, but at the end of the day, if you want to be the best, you’re going to need an absolute specimen capable of taking over games. If you want to win at the toughest time of year, in May and June when legacies are made and championships awarded, you usually need a few of them.

“He’s got it all,” said Islanders captain and long-time former Canucks captain Bo Horvat of his absurdly skilled teammate after New York’s morning skate on Tuesday. “He’s a freak, plain and simple. We’re lucky to have him.”

Privately, Islanders veterans — well-traveled players, with international experience and years worth of games in the NHL — will tell you Schaefer is the best player they’ve ever played with. Imagine Connor McDavid, if he were a defenceman. Or imagine if Mikko Rantanen also skated more quickly than Jake Sanderson and also played defence. Schaefer is the type of piece, the type of player, the type of presence that alters gravity for a hockey team.

Very pleased how they played the islanders yesterday, you can see chemistry is there they just need to find each other.

I’m guessing this is the new Canucks ice cream. Found at the Cambie Save On Foods. I don’t like Nanaimo bars so I won’t be trying it but hopefully it’s better then the blue goo in the last one.

Has anyone heard anything from them?
