Local TV (WFMJ 21 News) reported that roughly a quarter of the seats were tarped off, and only about two-thirds of the rest ever filled. Two-thirds of three-quarters is half.

For scale, the Covelli Centre seats about 5,700 for hockey. Even the GOP judge candidate they interviewed said turnout "could have been a little better."

We were out front with about 500 protesters, and didn't see many people walking in. The clip confirms what we suspected.

Guessing the ketchup was flying somewhere on Air Force One later that night, and the Human Binky had her work cut out for her cleaning up the other mess.

Trump isn't on the ballot in November, but Trumpism sure is. Early voting in Ohio is open now through November 1st. Vote early and in person if you can, and bring a friend or family member. The sooner the better, because anything can happen: illness, car trouble, a family emergency, or this administration pulling a fast one on DEMOCRACY.

Ohio - show up, vote these mfrs out for good!

Anyone got a recipe like the kind you would get at buffets, like Mr. Anthony's? I can never get my sauce right.

Totally random question a local wwf fan might know, and I don’t trust the internets wrestling results. I was wondering If anyone was at the wrestling house show when Ultimate Warrior was the champion, and he wrestled Macho Man. I read the results about the count out or DQ and what not. But in my mind, I remember macho man holding up the title and celebrating like he won it, then warrior beating his ass and taking his belt back. Anyone remember Macho winning that match? Did he steal the belt of Warrior? Did he act like the rules of winning the belt (by pinfall or submission) didn’t apply to him? Just trying to job my 10 year old memory. I remember when he lost the belt at Rumble it was the worst feeling as a child lol.
This woulda been November of 1990. What would be even fucking sweeter is if anyone had pictures?

Pretty exciting news

This topic came up in another thread. Trump said help was forthcoming in dealing with the SOBE situation at his Covelli rally on Monday. I am not surprised the details and follow up are on the squishy side.

https://www.wkbn.com/news/local-news/youngstown-news/where-sobe-issues-stand-after-trumps-visit/

John Collins was appointed in February by Mahoning County Judge Anthony Donofrio as the receiver of SOBE Thermal Energy Systems. Collins, along with attorney Michael Moran, are running the company.

Collins said he has not talked with anyone at the Departments of Energy or Commerce — or with anyone associated with Senators Bernie Moreno or Jon Husted — since the President’s visit on Monday, when President Trump pledged the federal government’s help to keep SOBE running.

Collins is aware of what the President said, but says he has heard the same thing before — specifically from Senator Moreno.

Trump's motorcade, Youngstown, Oct. 12th, shot from 9 feet up as it rolled down Front Street toward the Covelli Centre.

An estimated 500 protesters lined the route. Most of us were stretched along the north side of Front St. A Mahoning Valley group packed the corner by the Courthouse at Market and Front, and another big crowd held down Walnut and Front, right by the arena.

What he heard on the way in: "F*** Donald Trump!" "Where's the Human Binky?" "Where's the food truck for him to hide in?"

Then he went inside, talked to a lot of empty seats, and told the crowd about Sen. Jon Husted: "I don't do this with men very often. I started examining his body... I looked at his a**." He also admired Husted's jawline.

Same arena where he told the crowd J.D. Vance was "kissing my a**" in 2022. Some traditions never die.

Trump isn't on the ballot, but Trumpism is. Vote early.

Why is it always so slow there?

Order a burger and kiss an hour good bye.

Waitresses move with the urgency of a government bureaucrat.

Any who, Russell Dickert posted on his own Facebook page that himself, his friend Gary, and Gary's son all assaulted the woman at the Trump rally. His exact quote is they "subdued her and threw her to the concrete" 😡 Bro needs to be arrested yesterday.

Oh, and he is a NJ native so why was he even down here.

So according to Wikipedia, it seems like The Vindicator was an important source in declaring that Wilson Philips’s second album didn’t sell as well as the first one?

We can’t even find footage of Frank Marzullo passing out from getting put in a chokehold by Butterbean on a live local broadcast but The Vindicator is getting cited on Wilson Philips Wikipedia, what kinda funny business is this?

Looking at insta this morning, I’m curious what he’s about
