Challenge Batman and Superman are told that they'll die if they don't leak the others' secret identity. Who reveals it first?

Batman and Superman are contacted by a cosmic deity, one far beyond either of their comprehensions. It tells batman he has 24 hours to tell everyone Superman is Clark Kent, and it tells Superman he has 24 hours to tell everyone Bruce Wayne is batman. If neither of them reveal this, they'll both die

Rules:

Upon revealing the other hero's secret identity, it becomes public knowledge to anyone that wishes to know this information. Only one of their secret identities need to be revealed

They're not allowed to lie or otherwise manipulate this information (like framing someone else)

This information can't be removed from everyone's memory after the fact, this will be a permanent and well known fact

The information will be widely accepted and believed by everyone else

If the heroes choose to die, they then can't be revived

Breaking any of these rules ail result in the deaths of both of them

The cosmic deity can't be harmed or fooled in any way

Round 1

The heroes are left to their own devices. They're allowed to talk to each other, or anyone else they want to support them, but by the 24 hour mark, one of their secret identities have to be revealed

Round 2

Batman and Superman aren't allowed to communicate with each other in any way, and won't know what the other picked until the 24 hours are up. If they both reveal each other's identity, they both die (they know this)

Round 3

Lex Luthor is torturing batman, and Scarecrow is torturing a depowered superman, trying to get them to reveal the others' secret identity. Who succumbs and reveals the information first? There is no time limit

Battle USS New Jersey (1943) vs AC130U “Spooky II”

Rules - The AC-130 has to try its best to kill the NJ. If it runs out of fuel it loses, but can rearm.

Round One:
USS New Jersey is in its 1943 configuration, with 130 AA guns plus her main and secondary armament
vs
Two AC130Us in 2010 configuration, with a 25 mm cannon, a 40mm cannon (crazy enough still the same cannon as the NJ AA), and a 105mm howitzer.

Round Two:
5 A-10 Warthogs replace the AC130U- they have rockets and bombs in their armament.

Round Three:
USS New Jersey 1982 configuration: Phalanx CIWS, Improved Fire Control

My thoughts
AC130 will be pressed to do any damage to NJ without closing in. It’s AA guns have a range of almost 5 miles, with a ceiling of 30k ft. The 20 and 30mm cannons have a max range of 2 miles. Main and secondary guns can fire much further, and the AC-130 is fat and slow- I think they catch it with a 5in round

The hogs are relying on bombs in round 2. I don’t think the hellfire missiles do any damage. They bank on a hit with a laser guided bomb to the citadel but even then these bombs are much smaller than WW2 bombs- they get chewed up by AA as well.

Last one pretty much the same thing except much more interceptions and the A-10s get chewed up faster.

Challenge All humans' shadows come to life and try to kill them. Can humanity survive?

Rules

• All at the same time, every person's shadow comes out of wherever they are and morphs into the exact figure of their respected individual, except they are completely dark throughout the body.

• Each one is bloodlusted, and so they will immediately attack that person. If thry manage to kill him or her, they will start going after others as well.

• Every shadow has the same stats as their normal counterpart, such as in power, intelligence, and everything else. In the dark, not only are they harder to see, but they are 1.5 times as durable. In contrast, in light areas they are half as durable. Also, they don't need to eat, drink, or sleep.

Can humanity continue to survive if their shadows come to life and try to kill them?

Battle Reinhard Van Astrea (Re:Zero) Vs The Simurgh (Worm Parahumans)

The fight takes place in Canberra, Australia.

For one reason or another, Reinhard Van Astrea is set up against The Simurgh. One is the Sword Saint of Lugunica, considered the country's WMD, while the other is an Endbringer responsible for the deterioration of Earth Bet.

Reinhard has his vast number of divine protections, retains his connection to Od Laguna, and is partially immune to the Simurgh's precognition, while being entirely immune to her mental effects. The Simurgh has a number of non-active Parahumans in the city, including a variety of Tinkers, Brutes and Strangers to toy with, and while she is hampered by not being able to directly see Reinhard, she can infer information from self-targeted precognition and analysis of their surroundings.

Round 1: Canon Reinhard vs Canon Simurgh. All interactions play out as though each party retains in-character approaches and actions.

Round 2: Bloodlusted Reinhard vs Canon Simurgh. Reinhard is indiscriminate in his attacks and values eliminating the Simurgh above all else. Civilians and environmental factors are no longer taken into consideration for him.

Round 3: Bloodlusted Reinhard vs Unrestricted Simurgh. The Simurgh is no longer Manton-limited, meaning her telekinesis effects living organisms, her scream doesn't need to be audible to others, and her Tinker abilities have improved to intuitive speeds. Consider her reach, multitasking capabilities and general viciousness improved as well.

The match ends in ten minutes, or when either party has killed the other permanently.

Battle MCU Wakanda vs The three superstates (1984)

Yup, a spin on that infamous versus thread I saw on twitter.

Can Wakanda free the world from Eurasia, Oceania and Eastasia?

This is the map of the current situtation. In video form.

Wakanda is in its canonical place in the MCU.

Breaking centuries of strict isolationism, King T'Challa decides that watching from behind a vibranium shield is no longer an option. Wakanda’s ultimate objective: Liberate the entire planet from the totalitarian nightmare of Ingsoc (Oceania), Neo-Bolshevism (Eurasia), and Death-Worship (East Asia).

However, Wakanda is completely alone. The surrounding states still alive and fightning Oceania will not automatically join them and view outsiders with deep suspicion and trauma. Wakanda must win them over piece by piece.

Rules:

  • The three superstates have the technology they have shown in the 1984 book and they have IRL 1950s-1960s technology to patch any holes.
  • Wakanda is in its canonical MCU location, surrounded by the fractured, anarchic African states depicted on the map. Surrounding African nations are hostile, war-torn, and deeply untrusting. Wakanda cannot just blitz through; they have to earn or force cooperation sector by sector.
  • Wakanda wins if they completely dismantle the totalitarian structures of all three superstates and liberate humanity. The Super States win if they contain, overrun, or nuke Wakanda off the map.
  • Wakanda is at peak power.

Round 1: Wakanda and wathever allies it can get vs The three superstates.

Round 2: Everything is the same as Round 1, but Tony Stark, who in this timeline is a high-ranking scientific mind trapped within Oceania's INGSOC party, has just broken away and rebelled in New York. Tony has escaped with his life, his intellect, and the exact same tech he had at the end of Iron Man 1.

Battle Humanity vs the most realistic zombie scenario I can think of

A biotech company from San Francisco experiments on various diseases. They start messing with the rabies strain and tested it on a rat. Guess what, on the night of Christmas Eve, December 24th, 2015, as the scientist leaves the lab he forgets to close the rat cage, the rest you guys already know.

Here's how the virus work:

  1. The virus does not kill you (similar to 28 days later), so the infected still need water and food, and will seek when needed. Infected are still human, it loses a lot of blood or takes a headshot it obviously dies.
  2. Being a modified version of rabies, infected are absolutely enraged and will kill you on sight, regardless of hunger
  3. The virus can infect any sizeable living being: rats, dogs, cats, birds...
  4. The infected have the host's mobility, so yeah... they run
  5. Due to the virus not rotting the host right away, the infected still maintain their intelligence but on a lower level. Yes, they can open doors and they know that there are people inside house/apartments
  6. Infected may ocasionally fight each other, and in extreme cases eat each other.
  7. Now this is interesting, the virus will initially take a full day to show effects on humans, then it will adapt and take 20 to 30 seconds to turn people (realistic timeframe for full body blood circulation)

"It's just 28 Days Later with extra steps!"

Who would win? And how would they do it?
