New, what is it? Did my boyfriend stumble upon something crazy?
My boyfriend found this and we have been trying to figure out what it is and can't seem to find any answers. Thank you in advance!

This is in the corner of a framed sticker wall in a great dive bar, BAR N9NE in Port Angeles WA, does anyone recognize the ambigram outlined in white? "Postulate"? "Penultimate"?
Solved!
PASTIME is a member of a San Jose graffiti crew, the Yay Area LORDS (Legends Of Rare Design) and the phrase Quake 86 is also associated with them somehow
Still looking into "Defie Union"...

It probably came from my grandparents, who were a nurse and a train driver in WWII, and passed in the 2000s, to give a general sense of the decades it might have come from. I think it says NoMend but I can't find anything related to that.
Edit: thank you! You guys are fast. Not sure who we know who may have worked at the NoMend factory, but we're asking the relatives

I recently bought a townhouse and was cleaning up some old bushes and found this. It looks like it’s attached to the water line, maybe. The house was built in the 80’s and has been through a few owners. Nothing looks suspicious, like under the kitchen sink or anything. Just have no idea what this is.🤷🏻♀️

Is this man made or part of an animal? Found on the rocks of the Ocean Shores Jetty on the Pacific Coast of Washington.

I’d never seen anything like it. The tube is approximately 3 to 4 feet long and the nozzle part about 4 inches wide. I did not have a banana handy. There are two photos, and yes, I did flip the tag but did not include that photo. I’ll put it in the comments later.
EDIT: Tag photo and answer in comments

I was going through some old stuff my dad kept from throughout the years and I came across this little guy but for the life of me can't remember what they are called. I remember in middle school me and my buddies would collect them, they had different charcters and colors and you use them in a game where its your guys VS the others and you would flick them to try and knock the others over. does anyone remember these or know what they are?

Looks somewhat antique, some kind of cage to hatch chicks perhaps?

I found this pin at my university dorm and cannot figure out what it is. I’ve tried reverse google image searching it and I can’t find anything that looks like it. I even tried checking my university’s frat pins and such and nothing. If anyone knows what this might be plz let me know!! I would love to know the story behind it

I went to change the heating element in my dryer when I discovered it had melted this part from the connected wire. I’m trying to figure out what it’s called so I can try to replace that as well. I just wanna dry my clothes 😭

Hi all, I'm trying to identify the artist and printer of this print and would appreciate any help.
Questions:
Does the stamp look like a known printer's or workshop mark?
Do you recognize the style or the artist?
Any idea whether this is a screenprint or a lithograph?

These came from an auction. I can’t find a Google lens match. Can anyone help me figure out what these are called and what they are / were used for?
Thanks so much.

Purchased these on Poshmark, new without box. Seller had good reviews. No red flags. Shoes arrived quickly. They were packed well, and had original tags. I inspected them closely and found no issues - they were perfect. I wore them to work and they felt great until around noon when I noticed there was grit inside them. I took them off and found this. Any ideas how this could happen and if the seller could have known?

Hello, my father recently passed away and we're trying to clear things out to clean the house and make what money we can to help expenses and medical bills. He was a collector/hoarder of anything tool or craft related jobs. I think it has something to do with smithing but can't remember from when the last time we moved it. I've had every handyman or job worker I know look at it and we're all fairly stumped. Just trying to find out what it is and maybe how much its worth.

I stayed in a hotel over the weekend and saw these machines in the lobby. They had plastic tubes going into the ceiling. There were also smaller tubes that led to garbage cans and water was draining into them.
I assume it’s related to moisture but can someone tell me what these are and what the problem could have been?

Edit: someone found it OUT. It’s crazy: many hyper intelligent monkeys solve mysteries..

..but to be honest I don’t really know as I inherited from one of my best friends who’s no longer with us and never told me. Please help me figure out what it’s for and why the black rubber or rubber like/leather like strip inside?
