Get ready for a delightful day! Enjoy mostly sunny skies with a refreshing breeze keeping things cool. With a high of 61 degrees and a northwest wind blowing at 10-15+ mph, it’s the perfect weather to step outside and soak it all in!

(WeatherFront model GEFS Theta-E) A massive storm over the east-central U.S. bringing massive moisture causing intense convection and storms, fueling a currently intensifying extratropical cyclone which will cause a winter storm along with bitter cold. Stay safe!

This photo was not altered in any way shape or form. New graphics there’s nothing it’s just a picture taken with the phone coming back. She was her husband. We’re driving back from the beach in Norfolk, Virginia and this is what they saw come by the ocean.

Just casually dying, I mean crying, out here in Texas this crisp October morning.

hi! after high school, i’m planning to go to college to study meteorology and weather, and i’d love to hear from people who have experience in this field!
i’ve always been fascinated by weather, especially tornadoes and severe storms. i’m even considering getting into storm chasing in my free time someday! however, i also want to understand what career opportunities are available, what i should expect from college, and what working in meteorology is actually like.
i want to turn something i’m genuinely passionate about into a career that can provide a stable future for me. i’d love to hear about different career paths, college experiences, advice for someone just starting out, and anything you wish you’d known before getting into this field!
any advice, personal experiences, or recommendations will be greatly appreciated!! <33

I recall the fall arriving in September and it being cool but sunny days in the 90s to 00s. But now since I'd say 2007ish until nowadays it is still quite warm in October and even into November. Why is it still so hot in these fall months? What changed? Anyone else notice the difference? 🤔
