2022 Tiguan at dealership since June after software update
Hi! Has anyone dealt with something similar, and how did you get it resolved?
I have a 2022 VW Tiguan SEL R-Line that I bought new. It only has 38K miles, is in great shape, and I love it.
Earlier this year, VW did that over the air software update.
Immediately after it was done the sound system made no noise, and I can’t adjust the volume. My phone connects for about a second, then immediately disconnects. The backup camera screen is black when I put it in reverse. Lane Assist turns on and off rapidly.
I took it to the dealership I bought it from in late June, and they’ve had it ever since. I’ve had a loaner the entire time, which I appreciate, but I’d much rather have my own car back.
When I checked in two weeks ago, they said they had a TAC open with VW to try to figure it out, but I still am at a loss for how long this should go on.
Has anyone had these issues after an update or had VW keep their car this long? Is there a way to escalate this with VW, and what options would I even have at this point?
