I decided to take a gap year 1.5 years ago as I was suffering with some mental issues, all resolved now because it was nothing too bad and did not leave lingering effects on my brain, so this year I had also decided I was to miss it and delay college a little longer just to be sure, but as I have been kinda cleared by my doctor the semester has barely started, now I am planning for the fall intake next year, so when counting it would have been 2 years inbetween then and when I start, now I am a US international student, I live in Turkey but I was born in the US, and I did a homeschooling program (legally registered as its own school district in Florida tho so its recognized like a brick and mortar school not homeschool). Now that is the stupid ass backstory you probably did not need but I feel like its critical for my specific scenario.
I have basically forgotten precalclus (I even took honors sadly), but now when I look at it, it looks like Chinese to me, if I gauge myself honestly, I believe I am somewhere on an Algebra II level, but I do believe I adapt somewhat fast, do you guys honestly think I could pass math 154, because precalc was hard, do you think I could cram that into the summer next year to really catch myself up enough for it?
My main question that you can kind of derive from this is, is math 154 a pos and hard asf, and if so do you think with my level I should just do a diff major like a BA in psychology, because that also interests me but Ive been always aiming to do finance or BCOM because that is my main goal? And last question, if you actually do not think I could do that, based on me telling you I like psychology and finance, is there any major you guys could recommend that does not actually require math 154?
(Now I am m sorry if my writing may be informal, but it is 4am in Turkey so I am dead tired, but I cant sleep because this question forever lingers in my mind as I have always saw UAlberta to be the ideal school for me (Dont question why I have 0 idea either).
also note I have good highschool grades so admission would be fine, I think atleast, I have like honors precalc and a lot of honors classes, I only did 3 ap's but yeah...
