Question Received extra tution charge today.
Hi,
Today, I received an email that told me that I need to pay nearly 7000cad more for my tuition. I am an international student at UA and this is my last year. Normally, my tuition should be charged based on the semester.
I got 60transfer credits from my previous university and the advisor told me that I can delete them if i exceed the maximum number. So I took 66credits for 2 years(4 semesters), and they helped me delete them this semester, so i had 54 transfer credits and 66 credits that I took at UA. The tuition should be charged based on 4 semesters. But they said i took the courses out of my degree requirement.
I asked the advisor in the Student Help Center, they checked my account and told me that they also do not know the reason, and they helped me send an email to the registrar's office, which will reply to me in a few days. i want to know if everyone has encountered such a situation, and if it is possible to argue with such a decision.
