Progress! There is hope for all of you! These pictures are 5 years apart
I know it can feel a little overwhelming and hopeless at times. Especially for those of us who discovered we were trans after puberty. I just wanted to show these pictures and tell all of you that there is hope and you are beautifulā¤ļøā¤ļø. The first picture was taken on my 18th birthday, and the second was taken a week after my 23rd

Passing advice (Fridays Only) āHow am I doing? Looking for honest feedback and passing tips (MtF)
Hi everyone. Dysphoria has been hitting me really hard lately, and I constantly struggle with seeing my old self or feeling like I don't look feminine enough.
Iād love to get some honest, constructive feedback, but I chose not to show my face because itās just a bit too sensitive for me right now. Based on what you can see, how am I reading to you, and is there anything specific you think I could work on? Thank you so much! š

Question/Discussion Attraction changes
When I started hrt I was maybe 20% attracted to men/masculinity. This is now at about 80%. Iām in a relationship with a woman and I want to stop playing a masculine role, but sheās also a bottom.
Weāre both in talks and working on improving our intimacy issues, but itās been going on for like 9-10 months at this point. We are intimate maybe once a month.
Has anyone experienced attraction changes like this? If so how did you navigate them in a monogamous relationship?

Question/Discussion I'm so sad
I feel like I should just give up going down this road, that I'll be making my life significantly harder, that I'll be disappointed and never pass as much as I want to. But at the same time I can't let it go. I've tried to repress these feelings again but it feels almost impossible this time around.
The depression around this is hitting me like a frieght train, I'm trying to stay positive and let things unfold as they do naturally but it's so hard. Thankfully I am seeing a gender affirming therapist on the 22nd to get some clarity with this so it's not like I'm not doing anything to explore this but even then I worry I'm going to find out I'm just cis and have some fetish/obsessive fantasy and the thought of that would be so devastating since I feel this less and less being attached to sex.
It feels very pure and innocent to me because I can trace these feelings all the way back to being 12 (I'm 30 now), and it's made me so happy to have that connection back to my younger self and being able to say "there really is something to this", I feel like finding out there isn't would be heartbreaking.
Idk, I'm a mess lately, I feel more vulnerable than I've probably ever felt in my adult life.

Question/Discussion Itās not perfect though how to find an answer
For the past year and a half, Iāve gradually moved from struggling to accept the idea of questioning my gender to genuinely imagining a different life for myself, one where I transition and live as a woman. The more I explore that possibility, the more I feel that I might be happier living that life than the one I have now.
Interestingly, Iāve been out of relationships throughout this entire period of questioning, and that has made me realize something about myself.
When Iām alone and donāt have anyone on my mind romantically, my thoughts are almost entirely focused on questioning my gender, imagining myself as a woman, and wondering what my life would be like if I transitioned.
The only recent exception was when I met a girl I genuinely liked. Suddenly, my mind started wandering away from those thoughts because I was thinking about her and imagining a possible future with her. Obviously, I assumed she would be interested in me as a guy, and for once, I found myself thinking beyond my usual questioning.
Now, that has left me even more confused.
Does this mean that Iām holding on to my identity as a guy because of other people and their expectations, and that I need someone in my life to keep me in that role? Or does it mean that these past year and a half of questioning, imagining myself as a woman, and wondering whether I would be happier transitioning are nothing more than thoughts Iāve somehow created in my own mind?
I genuinely donāt know what to make of this, and Iām struggling to understand what it says about me and my gender identity.

Question/Discussion I think itās time to accept Iām a woman and Iām scared to admit it (20 mtf)
Hey, Iāve tried to say this multiple times and Iām just going to type some things and get them out there. Iāve had these thoughts for a long time around teen years and tried to shut them out, in my mind I was supposed to be male but I freaked out cause I knew deep down I didnāt want a male body.
I feel like my masculine features came a bit later and before I thought it wasnāt a big deal I was fine being a boy but then those features came in and oh no. I donāt think itās me, I donāt hate being a boy but the image of being a girl gives me no grief. Aging as a man seems weird, a little wrong. However, wanting to be in a female body just seems to resonate with me in way I canāt describe.
Iām just really scared this is a big big thing to come to terms with, and I feel like I push it down and feel like Iām fine during the day when with people, but at night the feelings always creep back up. I get obsessed with what it would be like to be her. Iām so jealous of women where they got to live as women their whole lives but I see a beautiful woman and get a little sad I canāt look like her, as if Iām missing out on the greatest thing ever.
I also have to come to terms that cis men donāt have these thoughts and Iām most likely a her. I have a serious choice to make.
