Hello friends, I’ve spent some time searching for a game I saw on steam that I cannot find for the life of me. I had it wishlisted but while sorting through I must’ve removed it.
I made a quick mockup on Ibispaint of what the little picture on the wishlist looked like. The only things I can remember in regards to it’s gameplay is that there was some sort of armour menu (?) and it had a very green tint. I also remember that the title had an I in it, and it came out recently.
Games aesthetically similar include Pluto, Felvidek and Fear and Hunger but pixelated. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I saw this in a youtube video about games where you experience the end of the world. In this one, you are a reporter or something and you have a camera to record the end times. Kaiju are destroying the world as the military tries in vain to stop them. You can see the monsters in the distance sometimes. You can talk to NPCs and interview them.
I’m looking for a character from a 2000s pc game that looked exactly like this. I don’t remember if she had gloves tho … I don’t even played the game. But maybe someone remembers her. I had the wallpaper for my pc and I was obsessed with her but I wasn’t really a pc gamer, terrible with keyboard.
I have a blurry memory of this flash game I played as a little girl. It was top down, I remember the UI being grey or brownish-grey and taking a lot of the screen. I'm really not sure about the graphics, I just remember it being very simple. The game is controlled by clicking the buttons at the side and/or bottom. You are taking care of these grey/blue creatures (maybe blobs, maybe spheres, maybe insect-like. I don't think they have faces but I'm not sure) - feeding them, helping them grow (I remember them becoming visibly bigger), mate and reproduce. Maybe they become sick and change color to green if not taken care of? I'm not sure. When they mature they need to fight other red invaders, and if you've managed to help the colony grow enough they would survive the attack and the game ends. Unfortunately this is purely my interpretation as I did not speak English at the time and everything I did was through trial and error.
Hello, for a while now I've been looking for a flash game from my childhood. I don't remember much about the gameplay, but i remember it being all shades of black and white (or at least the levels were, the backgrounds i think were very simple)
-It is not: earn to die, stickman annihilation.
I remember there were upgrades to your vehicle, but not if there was a fuel feature, since I remember playing a level for a while
Estimated year of release: early 2000s, I guess. Definitely before 2008
Graphics/art style: kinda Diablo 2
Notable characters: Barely remember the main character (sorry), but it was a blond guy, kinda ranger, or with a green cape
Notable gameplay mechanics: it played just like diablo, with you adventuring between settlements, defeating monsters and entering dungeons.
Other details:
I know it's very thin and there must be million games like Diablo around this era, but it has really bugged me for years and I never rediscovered this game.
The most I can remember, is already said: green cape guy, blond hair, isometric RPG that played like Diablo, having the circles for Life and Mana (or whatever they called it in that game).
If anyone have any suggestion of what game it might be, feel free to answer. After all these years, I could be mixing up some memories, so maybe if something gets close to what I'm saying, but not exactly, answer it anyway because it could be it!
I know that it wasn't a "famous" game, because I never knew anybody else that played it. If I'm not mistaken, this was a game in a CD Compilation Game, that was famous that time here in Brazil: you buy a CD and get dozens of smaller games at once.
it's most definitely an indie game, but I remember seeing a video on this years ago and I can't find it again. the video shows the player character trying to hide from a monster, and opens the door to the basement, where there's another seriously horrifying looking monster. however, the one in the basement stairs tells the player character that they mean no harm, and they're actually trying to help them escape and survive the other monster. I'm not sure if the one in the basement stairs is actually benevolent or not, but I do remember that was the series of events that take place in the video.
I remember a FPS from the early 2000s with map featuring a narrow exterior area with colorful glowing flora and mushrooms and some passive mobs along the way. I think it took place at night. The terrain wasn't steep but it was going up and you couldnt go left or right because of cliffs or walls. Not sure but I think you were escorted by some robot with a narrative voice or radio chat with a girl, like a march forward part.
I thought it was Unreal 2 but I can't find any glowing flora in the youtube playthrough videos...
I understand the title doesn't really say much of anything in regards to what the game actually was, but I genuinely lost any and all memory I have of this game besides a single instance of playing the game.
The map was orange -- like the surface of Mars -- and there was a generic, gray alien dude, pushing a four-wheel shopping cart into the fog of war. I think the game was 3D, and know the camera was top-down at an angle. The art style was fairly generic -- the most gray alien ever -- but I also recall that the game had a certain whimsy to it.
That is all I can remember, unfortunately. I would tell myself I dreamt the whole damn thing if the memory wasn't so vivid.
Standalone Windows indie game (not Flash or browser). 2D side view with 3D-looking, red, organic levels set inside a human body. You controlled small gray nanobots with tails that could hook onto and attach to objects. Physics-based, mostly puzzles with some action. The title was short, something like “Nano” or “Na.No”. It is not the 2021 Steam game NA.NO. The developers later announced a sequel called something like “Project Veronica” that never came out.
I tried to put everything I can remember in the description. Editing to add it might have been a mansion and it might have been a werewolf chasing you? I was quite little watching a neighbor kid playing this game. I don't recall what system or what it was exactly, but I remember it being quite uneasy feeling.
I’ve been searching for years so if anyone helps me find it I’ll be sooo damn happy
It was an old browser-based Flash game, probably from the late 2000s or early 2010s. It was a cartoonish 2D space strategy/RTS game. It wasn’t pixel art, but it also wasn’t highly detailed or realistic. The graphics were relatively simple and stylized.
Here’s what I remember about the gameplay:
- You started with a spaceship, space base, or some kind of starting colony.
- There were planets or asteroids in space, with buildings that could be placed around their sides or circumference. The buildings looked like they stuck out from the edges of the planets, almost in a cartoonish way.
- You could build resource-gathering structures that automatically produced little mining/gatherer robots.
- These robots would fly off to nearby asteroids or other celestial bodies to collect resources.
- You could use those resources to expand your base and build other structures.
- Some buildings produced little combat robots or ships that would protect your base and mining units from enemy AI.
- Other AI-controlled factions had their own bases, gatherers, and combat units. You had to expand, gather resources, defend your territory, and fight them.
The main gameplay loop was basically gather resources → build structures → produce units → expand → fight enemy AI.
I only played through the early game but i distinctly remember it having blue beetles as early mobs which you can possibly get as a pet with a bit of luck. I can remember you can equip a stick and I think it was isometric. Think something like Ragnarok
I'm trying to find out the name, or any proof it existed, of an old mobile game around 2013-2017.
You played as the dinosaur and just wandered around a map interacting with things. I'm 100% sure there was a cave of bats, spray painting (with berries I think) and pretty sure there was bowling and a volcano too. There were multiple different dinosaurs to collect and you could hatch an egg and name them. I remember it just being solo player and just wandering around, unsure if there was a main objective.
If anyone has played something similar or has any thoughts please let me know, it's driving me bonkers. Or if it's some forgotten dead game that would also be great to know. Thanks.
I remember when I was super young I would play browser games on my granddads laptop(it was Microsoft Windows, can't remember the model but it was probably from 2007-2013). I barely remember the game besides there were these big griffin-bird like creatures and you had to pick purple fruits and feed them. And if I remember the game started out in like a big building, maybe a library. Considering the rest of the games I remember playing at the time it was probably a girly game from a website like girlsgogames, maybe not.
Notable characters: I'm not sure if there was a story, but you controlled a character similar to those in Hotline Miami, just a head with swaying shoulders.
Notable gameplay mechanics: Shooting guns, using magic against "dungeon" enemies I.E. Skeletons, Goblins, Slimes. Basic enemies were pixel renders, but bosses looked if they were low poly 3D instead of pixel art.
Other details: I can confidently say that time frame because my brother got it from Steam by checking on the "Featured" slot. Sadly the account he used got hacked a while ago and unfriended everyone so I can't check his game inventory.
A very simple way I can describe it is a mix between Noita and Hotline Miami. The enviroments and magic looked extremely similar as they do in Noita, with very muted green and brown and magic attacks being pixel particles that could fill the entire screen. Gameplay was very similar as Hotline Miami, going into rooms and shooting all enemies to advance, with choices of weapons dropped from dead enemies.
What I'm most mixed right now is that I'm not sure if everything was magic, even if there was clear gun sounds, or if everything was guns, even when you could cast lighting bolts and rays of light. So I'm going with the idea it as a mixed gun and magic game.
What's it not:
Hotline Miami and Noita, despite feeling super similar.
Magicite, This game was a shooter through-and-through.
Nuclear Throne, I also played this at the time so I know it was a different game.
Enter the Gungeon, Too new and enemies looked like standard RPG enemies.
Realm of the Mad God, and other online games. This PC had to use a crappy Wi-Fi dongle so it was offline most of the time.
Every single game on PC Gaming Wiki's "Bird's Eye View" category I thought it would find it there, but no. I know for an absolute fact that was the game's camera though, we played it for hours back in the day.
This game was on the Featured PC Games slot of Steam for at least a while so it was well liked or sold pretty decently, so I wanna believe it can be found.
Edit:
Another important detail, the map was hidden by a thick fog of war like in MOBAs
Since Hotline Miami is extremely close to what it felt like to play, here's an edited version of the game, guns worked the same as they did in HM, so I edited in magic from Noita. Also added a random 3D model to show why bosses felt different. I definitely remember one being a spider so that's why I picked it.
Point and Click story game. The game would show different backgrounds when you went to different areas and the only area I somewhat remember there is a lighthouse and an occasional (or maybe constant) sound of a bell, I believe this particular scene was also snow filled and cold like an open tundra. I don't quite remember if your character would actually appear and walk to where you pointed but it is possible. It was not a horror or scary game, and I think I never finished it cause I couldn't figure out what to do at a certain point.
I came across this while browsing itch.io; if I’m not mistaken, the story takes place on another planet. The character wakes up in a station and must survive. On the verge of death, they discover a mysterious artifact that causes them to return to the starting point every time they die. This is the core mechanic: managing your resources while trying to survive and uncover what happened to the crew, all while gaining new knowledge with each attempt. The interface consists solely of text and numbers—actions you can take are displayed on the left, while the processes currently underway are shown on the right.
merge game. It was around the Obama election. The figures had troll faces, like 2012 meme faces. And they would merge higher into political icons like donkey and elephant. Does anyone know what I'm talking about?
Platform(s): Was avaliable for Amiga for sure, don't know if elsewhere too.
Genre: It was an action game with platforming elements where you shoot enemies and collected items to progress.
Estimated year of release: Possibly before or during the 90's
Graphics/art style: 2D pixel art
Notable characters: the playable character was a young blonde (?) boy, or looked like it. Was the only human character in the game.
Notable gameplay mechanics: had shooter elements so you could temporary collect different ranged weapons to attack enemies with, to reload you had to let go of the fire button.
You had to collect a certain number of 3 specific collectables per level (that were changing per world) to unlock the exit and progress to the next one.
Other details: had 4-5 worlds: forest/woods (with wooden structures IIRC), mines with lava pits, Technological world and Castle (those are the ones I remember).
Each world had between 4 to 6 (or possibly more) levels, and at the end of each set there was a bossfight.
There were lots of collectables in the game, including "keys" that allowed to open up new areas of the level, Some levels were pretty huge so there were a lot of backtracking to do.
After collecting the required amount of specific "valuables" to unlock the exit, the remaining ones would automatically turn into coins.
One level of the "Castle" level was just a giant room split in 3 sections where all you had to do was jump around using launch pads to collect the specific item in that section and the keys required to open the next section till you had the amount to unlock the exit.
Tried to write as much info as I remember, it's a pretty old game.
