I've recently fallen back in love with this Orb tune from the late nineties and am pondering what they used for that squiggly little ARP line and how I could set about making something similar myself...

This subreddit was recommended by someone from r/musicians. Need help replicating the synths and pad sounds on my keyboard (Yamaha PSR SX 720). I don't want it to be plugged into my laptop as a Midi Source. Just want raw voices from the keyboard itself if anyone knows about it. Thanks.

Trying to figure out how to recreate the pluck sound at 0:31, just before the drop. Any pointers would be much appreciated.

I've always been so curious about how they got that sound leading up to the chorus. It sounds so bright and deep. I'd love to hear what yall think. I'm using serum

Resonance still feels like the soundtrack to a half-remembered dream, so we recreated the whole thing in Serum. Every sound is broken down step by step. Happy to answer questions in the comments!

Ok, so this is a great example I picked off of youtube; But I would love to sound just like this! According to other posts I've seen- he's known for using a Microkorg and I wanted to see if there was anyway I could recreate such a sound in Fl Studio using Serum??

Hey everyone :) Well... I'm pretty new to synths and sound design, so I'm not really sure where to start with this...
I'm trying to figure out how to recreate the lead synth sound used in this part of "It's Been So Long" by The Living Tombstone.
i don't even know what this type of synth is called, or what kind of synthesis or effects are used to achieve that sound... i'd like to learn how to make something similar from scratch, but I'm not sure what to look into first... Thank you

Every time I try to make a synthwave bass like this, it comes out kinda thin sounding and not as βgrowlyβ as this. What am I doing wrong? I want this exact bass sound.

Obviously it's 6-op FM, so presumably I need the algorithm, ratios and levels for each operator. Dunno if there's much going on as far as individual envelopes for the operators. I'm assuming it's a fairly easy sound to make I'm just terrible at planning out FM.

Iβve been obsessed with this one background melody in The Japanese Houseβs Dionne for ages and Iβm trying to figure out what it actually is and how to recreate it, best case on an OP-XY.
It comes in around 1:30 and keeps popping up after the chorus:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QZdyMVTAMEA&t=90s
Itβs this really distinctive, almost squawking, horn-like sound with a kind of organic, slightly pitch bend.
Hard to describe, but it almost sounds like some weird brass instrument or a synth trying to imitate one.
Iβve even tried isolating it with AI stem separation to get a usable sample, but thereβs too much going on in the mix so that it doesnβt really work.
Iβm pretty new to synthesis, so Iβm not even sure whether itβs a synth, a heavily processed instrument or some kind of sample.
Does anyone have an idea what could be creating that sound, or how youβd approach recreating it? Any pointers would be massively appreciated!

I'm trying to recreate the sustained drone that enters around 3:00 in Ethel Cain's song βPerverts.β the harmonic, slightly metallic drone behind them. It almost sounds like a soft bell stretched indefinitely without the strike, with the higher tones in the background going up and down.
Does anyone know what type of synthesis or sound processing might create this? I'm using Vital, but I'm also curious what the original sound source might be.

I'm learning music production in FL Studio by remaking songs.
There's a weird, wobbling synth sound in Lunay's Soltera (Remix) around 0:42. It goes like weWEwe
I suspect some kind of pitch modulation, but I'm not sure.
Does anyone know what this effect is called and how I could recreate it in FL Studio?
Any help would be appreciated!

This song is by AR Rahman , around 2mins 36 second there is a pad or bell . How do i recreate this in serum / omnisphere. I freaking love this sound.
Any inputs are highly appreciated.
